This campground is in the Ward Lake Recreation Area in the Tongass National Forest. It is 8 miles north of Ketchikan. It is for dry camping. There are water pumps, pit toilets, and a beautiful lake surrounded by trees and mountains. There are also hiking trails. If you drive in without a reservation, you can find one you like and stop by the campground host to pay. We camped at Signal Creek Campground - USFS in a Motorhome.Undo
