Another typical Alaska campground with close sites and gravel everywhere. We were in a back-in site for the first couple of days and then moved to a pull-through site. People build their own fire pits according to their whims and we had several on our back-in site with one of them located under our RV. Office staff was friendly and check in was smooth. Did not use the bathhouse or laundry. Verizon cell/MiFi worked fine. This campground is located outside Seward proper but it is not a long drive to town. We would probably stay here again if in the area. We camped at Stoney Creek RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

So far the best park we have camped at in Alaska. A little ways out of town and a bit remote but not an issue as it was an easy run to downtown and the NP. Good w/s/e/ cable/ Wi-Fi services at the park. Only issues were minor - a few loose dogs meandering through the park, and it would be nice if the management spent a little time on a weed eater around the sites- though they are predominantly gravel. The CG sites are angled across a gentle slope thus sites are not absolutely level . But we liked the park and would stay here again. We camped at Stoney Creek RV Park in a Truck Camper.

Probably the nicest park in Seward, it is all gravel though some back in face the creek. We had reservations, but when we got there we were told that all they had was an overflow that did not have sewer (we were staying 5 days). So double check and confirm if you need full hookups that you are indeed getting them. Lots of caravans in and out of here. They filled up every night that we were there. We camped at Stoney Creek RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a nice park. Cable worked fine, 12 channels. Wi-Fi is as bad as I've seen it anywhere. Even sitting next to the office I could not get online. I asked if the Wi-Fi was working and they said yes. It is pretty quiet here gravel main area with grassy areas around it. Laundry is small for the number of sites here but works well. I would probably stay here again We camped at Stoney Creek RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice park about 4 miles outside Seward. All gravel mostly level, roomy sites. Entry road a bit bumpy due to potholes, lots of twists and turns on the road from the highway. Beautiful views of the surroundings and there is a creek nearby. Office staff very helpful and accommodating. This is a very busy park and was full nearly every night we were here. The WiFi would slow considerably at peak hours when the park was full. Everything worked well and it is convenient to Seward. Would recommend reservations. We would return in the future. We camped at Stoney Creek RV Park in a Motorhome.

Your experience at this park will depend on where you are located. If you are lucky enough to get one of the creek side spots you will have a green space overlook and the sound of a fast rushing creek. And a firepit. If you are not lucky you will be located in the central gravel parking lot with no green space, no trees, and no firepit. As Seward is a popular destination for Alaskans and out of state tourists, and because the City waterfront campground fills up fast, this campground fills up fast too. As a footnote, you get what you pay for here with the advertised free wifi. Service was slow and not dependable, and if you need to log on you may have to do it in town at a reception friendly cafe. We camped at Stoney Creek RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Great park with huge sites. Everything was very nice including grassy areas. We were allowed to set up our screen room and pop up. We stayed in the creekside sites and could hear the water all night. I can't say the sites in the middle were any good. They seemed crowded and looked like every other RV park in this state. Spend the couple extra bucks and have a much better experience. We stayed here in a 40 ft and our friends in a 40 ft were next to us. Management never bothered us and were very accommodating. We booked for one week and extended it another week. First campground in three months + in Alaska that looked like a campground . We camped at Stoney Creek RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is one of the best parks we have stayed in in Alaska. Original plan was for a week, and we extended our stay by 4 days. We enjoyed a site on the river. The Internet and cable worked great. The site was level and we had plenty of room for our awnings, a screen room and a picnic table. The park was clean and people walked the park daily, making sure everything was tidy and in working order. If you stay here, be sure to get a site on the river as the interior sites are like every other Alaska parking lot RV park. We camped at Stoney Creek RV Park in a Motorhome.

Stoney Creek RV Park is about 5 miles out of Palmer, and about 8 miles from Exit Glacier (the hike to the glacier's edge was spectacular)! Sites are gravel with a bit of grass between, fairly level, and ours was a pull through, though it was necessary to disconnect the towed to fit in the space. Picnic table on site. Group fire ring. Stoney Creek is actually a fast moving river of glacial waters running alongside the RV park. Nice mountain views. Laundry has 4 washers & 4 dryers with all machines working well. Two fifty each. Shuttle bus to Palmer goes several times each day. We camped at Stoney Creek RV Park in a Motorhome.

Close to town, very well laid out park. Nice management, quick to respond to problems. Shuttle buses run through park for transport to town. Would we return, yes. We camped at Stoney Creek RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nice park outside of the hustle and bustle of Seward. Sites were spacious and level. No landscaping in the interior, but lovely wooded and grassy areas on the perimeter. Staff friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again. Road leading into the park a bit narrow and bumpy, so pay attention! We camped at Stoney Creek RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Campground sites are gravel and fairly level. Sites are very close to each other with little or no grass/weeds. Park needs some TLC in MHO. Utilities worked fine and had good placement. We camped at Stoney Creek RV Park in a Motorhome.

Pull through, but tight and close to neighbors. Campfires allowed making it constantly smoky all over the campground. Clean restrooms, showers and laundry room available. Long rough road entrance, dusty sites although level. Friendly staff, but not familiar with campground computer program so we had to move around and spent the day unhooked on the side of the grass, as did several others. Will try another park next time we are in the area. We camped at Stoney Creek RV Park in a Motorhome.

This park is about 6 miles from downtown Seward, but it’s worth the trips into town for the scenery, amenities, and setup. It is on a creek, and the spaces are nice and large. All hookups worked well: cable TV, wifi. There was a resident eagle flying around in the evenings. Very friendly and helpful personnel, and we would stay here again. We camped at Stoney Creek RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

I agree with previous reviews. It is a nice park, but I almost missed one of the signs driving in. It is a roundabout drive and one of the signs is up high on a post and back in the bushes. The only minus I would point out is the fact that there are only two washers and two dryers. We would stay here again. We camped at Stoney Creek RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
