Stayed one night going up the Al-Can and one night returning. Got the same space each time - easy pull-thru's - restrooms and showers very clean - our only complaint were the mosquitoes We camped at Tok RV Village in a Travel Trailer.

Nice rv campground but $25 for car wash is pricey. We camped at Tok RV Village in a Fifth Wheel.

This a very pretty park, lots of trees and very well kept. The owners are quite friendly and are always working around the park to keep things nice. After driving on the Alaskan Hwy and the Top of the World Hwy, we were looking forward to the RV wash that we heard the park had. It worked well and was very reasonably priced. We used the laundry room and it was also very clean and well kept. We would highly recommend this park! We camped at Tok RV Village in a Motorhome.

We arrived later in the day and decided to stay 2 nights after our long trip through Canada. The staff was very nice during check in and gave us a couple fresh baked cookies. The park is highly rated by Good Sam and AAA so we figured it would be a good experience overall. After inspecting the showers we decided they were well maintained and very clean so it was nice to take an extra hot shower that wasn't in our RV. We also paid to use their high pressure car wash to clean the grime off our older RV from the trip through Canada. My wife picked up a couple gifts and postcards in the office and we were able to get groceries just down the road easily. We also could easily walk to the one local restaurant from the park so that made for a nice evening excursion on foot. Great park overall, we will definitely be staying here again on the way out! We camped at Tok RV Village in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

If you're driving a car through town and not an RV the log cabins they have available look great so I would give them a chance versus staying in a hotel or motel.

Military Veterans Beware-NO DISCOUNTS!! Seems this park forgot who/how the Alaska Highway was constructed. Garbage cans near my spot were (55 Gal) overflowing. Cable was in and out with two to three channels. Wifi first hour free then you have to pay $6.95 per hour. RV/Car wash-pay. I will not stay here on the way back or ever. Cost is way to high-My BAD! Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed at this RV park twice in 2017, at the beginning and end of June, so the fact we came back tells that it can't be too bad. The sites are separated by trees and the campsite is clean and orderly. They have a gas station and propane refilling spot down the road that offers 2 cents off a gallon. When I asked about filling propane, the person at the desk was less than friendly about arranging fill ups, but was helpful when the time came. Wifi was okay - places to walk our dogs. We would recommend this park to stay on your way north or south. We camped at Tok RV Village in a Fifth Wheel.

This was a nice park, just not worth the money for what you get. We received a 30 AMP site that was not that level, but we were able to level out. In its defense though, the park is well kept, there were 2 laundry rooms, and the staff were friendly. There was wi-fi, but it was limited to an hour and was fairly slow. ATT wireless worked well. We camped at Tok RV Village in a Motorhome.

We found this park to be very welcoming and well maintained. The pull thrus are large with some green space between. Shade trees make it nice...so much better than some of the parking lot style we experienced along the AlCan. The facilities are very nice and clean, with an rv wash on site. Wifi is Tengo with 1 hr free. The staff is very helpful, and the owner is knowledgeable of RVs, and helped us solve an electrical problem. Not only that, he's a heck of a cookie maker!! We camped at Tok RV Village in a Fifth Wheel.

Park is very well maintained. Only 7 channels of cable TV. Traveling to Alaska, at some point your satellite dish will be pointing almost parallel to the ground and at other areas you will not be able to contact the satellite at all. But, the problems of trees and latitude are small considering you get to enjoy being in Alaska. So, cable TV is more important than it normally would be. Laundry was clean. Each washer load cost $3.50 and each dryer load cost $1.50. 6 washers and 8 dryers. Overall a good campground. Only real criticism - its pricey at $50 per night. We camped at Tok RV Village in a Fifth Wheel.

Eddies restaurant was nearby and a great value for the price. Owners granddaughter works there and recommended Tok RV Village. We were already staying there, but she helped us break the code on late check in.

A very nice, well kept park. We stayed here four nights toward the end of our summer in Alaska. Staff was very cordial.
This park could easily be a destination park; but, we used it to wind down some before driving to Haines. We camped at Tok RV Village in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

We made a day trip to Chicken, Alaska (so named because the resident miners couldn't spell "Ptarmigan".) Some nice, small shops there, along with an RV park.
Nice, Alaskan-made, shops in Tok. Look for "Made in Alaska" and "Silver Hands" tags/markings, the latter of which are only allowed if they are made by licensed native Alaskans.

This is a big, professionally run park. We stayed here two nights on our way in to Alaska and one night on our way out. All utilities worked "as advertised" with the exception of the WiFi which was painfully provided by TenoNet. Verizon service there was "so, so". Voice service was good. Data was only 3G. The RV wash was a welcome service, especially on our way in from the Yukon. I had so much mud and grit on my rig, I was worried we'd be charged duty at the boarder. We enjoyed our stays here both times and will stay here again. Loved the free cookies. We camped at Tok RV Village in a Travel Trailer.

The spaces are shaded. Our space was a bit tight for our 36 ft. rig. We had to park our tow vehicle at an angle to get out of the road. Is a nice park and they have a RV car wash site. We camped at Tok RV Village in a Travel Trailer.
