Everyone should experience a campground like this- at least once. The road in and around the park is POT HOLE CITY. The speed limit is posted as 5mph, but if you go over 2 mph you'll totally bounce everything out of it's place in your RV. They do have over 100 sites. All sites are on a huge cleared gravel field and are spaced 12' apart. All have 50A power, water and sewer. There are about 25 long term renters along the east side. These renters give real meaning to the phrase "TRAILER TRASH". Along the outside row on the west there is parked an assortment of 5 junk motorhomes, 6 junk trailers, and about 16 junk cars. Plus one 18 wheeler and one junk school bus. More sites are filled with junk that are rented. All traveling RVs are in the center row on (almost) level gravel. The sites are bare gravel (some weeds) and have no area for any tables or fire pits. The park is quiet and a cheaper place to stay if you want hook ups with junkyard views. We have a 5th wheel parked next to us that is only 6 feet away. Forget trying to open your awning. There were 7 over night campers here last night, so your chances of getting a drive in space are excellent. Good for just a short stay. We camped at Alaskan Trails RV & Camper Park, LLC in a Motorhome.

We could not see any pull-thru sites, unless you count pulling thru a standard site.

Internal roads are very rough. They could use some grading. Many long term sites that were very cluttered. Junk, spare parts, vehicles in several sites. We camped at Alaskan Trails RV & Camper Park, LLC in a Motorhome.

We didn't end up staying here as it looked shady. Claimed showers but we didn't see any or restrooms. Looked more like an unkept RV storage. We camped at Alaskan Trails RV & Camper Park, LLC in a Travel Trailer.

This is not a bad place to stop for a night or two. The Wi-Fi was excellent. Electricity (50 amp), water, and sewer were good, too. We didn't do laundry here, but my husband checked it out and said the machines looked new and the price was reasonable. The only issue with this park is that there is a row of permanent campers that has been there a while. Some of their areas could use some tidying up and some campers could use some repair work. On the other side of the campground there are several old cars, boats, etc. parked. They need to be removed to improve the overall look of the place. The park is nice and quiet, though. Overnighters and vacationers are put in the middle rows of sites and they try to leave an open space between each camper, so there is plenty of room to sit outside, etc. We would stay here again if we were in the Wasilla area. We camped at Alaskan Trails RV & Camper Park, LLC in a Fifth Wheel.

The park is OK for 1 night. The roads into the park are very rough and full of potholes. The sites are uneven as is the entire park. Utility connections were placed so that it is difficult to maneuver into a pull through site without guidance. There are abandoned looking vehicles everywhere. We camped at Alaskan Trails RV & Camper Park, LLC in a Motorhome.

Evidently things have not changed here in the last couple of years. The host was nice and guided us to our site. The park is flat, parking lot type. However, the road is very rough and there are weeds throughout the park. There are junk cars, a school bus, and dilapidated RVs around the park. This park does have 50 amp service, water, and sewer. The laundry room, bathroom, and showers were clean. Wi-fi was OK, slow but no more than usual from what we have experienced at most Alaskan RV parks. Rate reflects GS discount. We camped at Alaskan Trails RV & Camper Park, LLC in a Motorhome.

The park consists mostly of very narrow sites in a large gravel area unbroken by trees or grass. The road in was potholed and the sites were not well leveled but there was plenty of room to maneuver with many empty sites. Utilities were good but Wi-Fi was too weak to connect to even though we were specifically placed in a site that had a good chance of access. AT&T voice and data service worked well. There was no road noise and train noise was minimal with soft horn once or twice per day. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rate included a Good Sam Discount. We camped at Alaskan Trails RV & Camper Park, LLC in a Fifth Wheel.

The people who run the park are friendly and helpful. The sites are very long and adequately wide, but awkward because the power pedestals are close together. You have to pull up quite far to get slides out, which is OK if you can still reach the power connection. There are a couple of eyesore permanently installed trailers, but we didn't have any problem with any of the residents. They advertise TV Service, however it means if you have an antenna you might be able to pick up one or two local channels. It is NOT cable TV. Their Wi-Fi is painfully slow and unreliable, although both TV and Wi-Fi are available at the office if you want to walk up there. The park was less than half full when we were there; the sign for turn-in from the highway is easy to miss, although the website and Milepost give clear directions. We camped at Alaskan Trails RV & Camper Park, LLC in a Fifth Wheel.

Large gravel lot. New power hook ups with 50 amp and water/sewer. New shower/laundry buildings. They are working on getting a better wifi to the campground. Nice owners and quiet. We camped at Alaskan Trails RV & Camper Park, LLC in a Motorhome.

This is a good place to stop on the way to Denali. They have level, gravel sites. You can use this as a base and travel to Palmer to the Musk Ox Farm. We camped at Alaskan Trails RV & Camper Park, LLC in a Motorhome.

Good location to stop at on the way to Denali. Campground is a large gravel lot with hookups. There are a few permanent setups that are on the shabby side. It was not busy when we were there so we had the pick of locations. Extra $2 charge for dogs. WI-FI was available in the office only. Easy commute from campground to shopping, restaurants.
