This park is difficult to find. The office is in the Stikine Inn in downtown, but the park is about 1.5 miles south. Wrangell is a small town, and no one uses addresses, as everyone knows where everything is. Even the park manager had a difficult time telling us how to get there. We finally had a police officer lead us to the park. It is at the corner of Zimovia Highway and Berger Street. Find it on Google maps before you arrive. Park is very basic, but with good wifi. There are only 7 sites, and one of those is difficult to get into. No bathroom facilities at this park. We camped at Alaska Waters RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

This is not an RV park. It is a shale driveway. The property is littered with garbage cans and boat parts. Truck containers line the rear of the property. The writeup delivered to your email is a tribute to creative writers everywhere. Neither the owners or "guides" are ever around. We paid online for reservations and never once saw anyone. The restrooms/showers are at the laundromat in town so if you aren't self contained you're going to be in trouble. Wi-Fi might be available if you were able to find someone to give you the password. This place is terrible. If I could give this "park" less than a "1" rating I would. We camped at Alaska Waters RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

This is a tiny little park with only 5 sites and no restroom facilities. 4 of the 5 sites would accommodate large rigs. The campground is affiliated with Alaska Waters, Inc. They provide tours to AnAn Bear Viewing Observatory, Stikine River Trips, Glacier Tours and others. The owners are very nice and while we were here the Wi-Fi was lightning fast! Wrangell is a very small, quaint island where most of the businesses are closed on Sunday. We stayed here for 6 nights and enjoyed our stay. We drove to Pats Lake, Nemo Point and Salamander Creek Rec. If you are looking for a slower paced, Alaskan community this fits the bill. ** If you go to Wrangell be sure to take the AnAn Bear Viewing trip. It was awesome!
