I've camped at this park many times over the years, returned often as I love it! A loop has power (30 amp), the other loops have no services. There's a dump station and potable water near the store and a water tap in each loop. Online reservations system charges $12/reservation so this bunps up the price of your trip. The no service sites are $23/night. During the busy season A loop is usually first come first served and this most often means you need to have a tent or trailer out there by Thursday night. B, C, & D loops are usually reservable online. There's a few group sites too. The outhouses are typical, the main bathroom with showers is decent. This CG is right on the Little Red Deer River with lots of great fishing. Access at many points, good to swim in on hot days or raft down from upstream also. Last time I was there a sign was posted near the sani dump indicating $3 charge. This was new, they always charged for people who hadn't stayed overnight but was free for campers. I was annoyed, having spent $72 there to camp for the weekend so I didn't ask or go to the store to pay more. Wood is $8/bag, usually need 2.5 to 3/night. We camped at Red Lodge Provincial Park in a Travel Trailer.Undo
