This park is surrounded by beautiful views of the mountains. Our site was surrounded by seasonal units but these did not cause any issues. Interior roads had some gravel patches and potholes but nothing excessive. There was a no mats or tents policy in effect but we were allowed to use our mat because it was bare dirt where we wanted to use it. We were able to park our truck sideways in front of our site. Showers/restrooms were OK but two of three washers were out of order in the laundry and the trash can was overflowing. On our second of three days water pressure dropped to nothing in the morning. The office person said it was due to construction but gave us coins for the showers. Pressure improved later that day. We camped at Spring Creek RV Campground in a Travel Trailer.

This park is in an excellent location for Canmore. Plus it is easy in and out for your tow vehicle to visit cities east and west. Close to TransCanada Hwy 1 but no traffic noise. Full hookups. Beautiful walking trail into town. Those are the really good points. Ask for a back-in along the creek. They are very close side to side but give you a bit of nature along the creek. All sites are really close together. Almost hard to put out an awning. 50 amp electric is not forgiving as you may blow a breaker if you run too much at same time so watch what you have on at same time. Water pressure dropped down to almost nothing, often around 7 am and again at 4-6 pm so make sure your fresh water tank is full so you can use your own water. Wifi is only available at the picnic table behind the office. We were parked directly across from the office, about 50 feet but we could not get a signal. We fit in our site but our truck hung out a bit. It was safe, a train ran along other side of creek but was not loud. All in all it was a perfect place to stay for visiting Canmore. Just be aware of the above mentioned things. We camped at Spring Creek RV Campground in a Motorhome.

First the good, the park is located next to a flowing creek and surrounded by majestic peaks on all sides. It is only minutes from the town of Canmore. We arrived for a five night stay with a full service pull through site reserved. The site we were assigned was at the end of a row that butted up against a falling down fence that separated us from a row of mobile homes, most in some state of disrepair. We were at the back end of the mobile homes so got to view their trash heaps and broken down trampolines and other junk. There was also an extreme slope towards the fence. We went back to the office and asked for an alternate site and were assigned a back-in that was next to the creek. The sites are extremely narrow and not at all adequate for a motorhome. The sites are so short in most cases that tow vehicles are parked parallel to the street blocking part of the road. The end of my patio shade was inches from the slide out of my neighbor. The park is also very low in spots and floods with any rain shower creating a very deep mess that stretches completely across the road. The narrow area between our rig and the neighbors is under water at the moment. There are many, many mobile homes sprinkled all through the park. Many of the permanent residents drive at very high speeds through the park creating a dangerous situation for children and pets on a leash. Wifi consists of a hotspot in the office and is useless. There is no cable available. All in all the incredible views are offset by the numerous mobile homes and extremely crowded park. Will look elsewhere in the future. Would not return. We camped at Spring Creek RV Campground in a Motorhome.

This is a good place to say to see Banff and Lake Louise. We were quite close to our neighbors but it was quiet. We had a fire ring and a picnic table. We were able to use the satellite but had no Internet. It was tight getting around. We had 30 amp service and full hookups. We camped at Spring Creek RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Last minute reservation as we waited too long and couldn't get into Banff. Really nice entrance until you make the left turn into the park. Then you see all of the old mobile homes. Our site #35 was plenty long, but narrow. Also our view was the side of an old mobile home. Too bad, because the view in the back of the creek was pretty. But there was no way to pull in, so we were stuck with the view and kept the windscreen down the whole time. It was clear the residents don't like the campers. They drove fast past us. The last night we were there we were woken up by teenagers shouting and laughing at 3:00am right in front of us. Verizon was good and we got XM Radio. No over the air tv. This park charged $2.00 per night for pet fee. I don't mind paying a pet

fee if they offer pet services, ie, doggie bags, waste stations, dog park,

etc. This park didn't offer any of those services, so I don't feel paying

$2.00 per night extra is fair.Next time we will book earlier for Banff. We will not stay here again. We camped at Spring Creek RV Campground in a Motorhome.

This private campground caters primarily to seasonal and full-timers. Interior roads are in terrible condition. Each site has a picnic table and fire pit. Our site backed onto the creek and was long but narrow. As well, our site was not level side to side. WiFi does not work even with an extender. I went to the office to inquire where the nearest router was located. She said that it was in the building. When I said that I was unable to get connected, she commented that the router was located at the back of the building, not inside. So much for signal strength. I hate RV parks that advertize offering WiFi, but there is little or no signal. Laundry is $1.25 wash, $1.25 dry x 20 min, and firewood is $10 a bag ($8 at grocery stores in town) We camped at Spring Creek RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

This RV park has gravel roads and is near a main railroad line. The trains come through often especially at night. The trains are loud but inside our RV it didn't bother us much. The scenery is breathtaking. There are mountains all around. The men's bathroom was OK but there was only one toilet stall. There were toilets also in the shower stalls of which there were two or three. We camped at Spring Creek RV Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

There is a big Safeway store in Canmore to get your groceries. Park is in the city of Canmore which is a cute little town. It is 14 miles from Banff most of it freeway. So the access to Banff is very good.

We stayed in this campground so we could visit Banff & Lake Louise. The is an awful campground. The roads have huge potholes & puddles that collect rainwater and remain for days at a time. Our site only had 15 amp power with no sewer. Half way thru our 5 night stay we asked a neighbor if we could drain our gray water into their sewer and they agreed. However it took several hours because it was uphill and we had to constantly flex the hose up and down. Avoid this campground if at all possible. Also, sites are small and smashed together. Awful, just awful. We camped at Spring Creek RV Campground in a Motorhome.

Spent two nights here in order to visit Banff National Park/Lake Louise. It had rained and huge puddles covered the blacktop. We had only 15 amp electric, NO water, NO sewer & the WiFi did not work. They charge for showers and they were not clean. It was a very unpleasant place & would not recommend to anyone. It seems to be connected to some attractive adjoining condos by the same name & it is surprising the RV park was so bad. We camped at Spring Creek RV Campground in a Travel Trailer.

This one of the lowest rating we have given a RV park. The roads are terrible with major potholes. The grass is dying, and the sites are tight with trees and rocks making turns difficult to get into or exit. A train goes thru 5 or 6 times a day the good news they do not use the horn. The sites are small but manageable, this is one of the most beautiful places in North America it is a shame it is not better maintained. Would not return to this park. Beautiful views, close to trains although they do not blow their whistles very often, sites are tight, and wifi is horrible. My main reason for the 6 rating is the size of the site and the wifi. Convenient to Banff are attractions. If you want wifi I suggest trying another rv park. We camped at Spring Creek RV Campground in a Motorhome.

If you can get a site along Spring Creek, it is to your advantage. Others are only average. Creekside sites back onto Spring creek and offer a lovely view and the sound of water flowing. While fairly compact, the alloted areas are adquate and could be fairly tight for bigger units. Canmore has exploded in recent years and is on the way to becoming another Banff. Streets are crowded with tourists and shoppers. We camped at Spring Creek RV Campground in a Travel Trailer.

The views, from anywhere in the campground, are lovely. Canmore is a great little town, only about one mile away. There are a few large off-leash areas in the municipality as well--great for dog owners. But the campground itself is, well, unpleasant. Despite a patch of grass between sites, they are very close to each other (almost the worst we've ever seen). Our picnic table was literally over our neighbour's sewer connection. Most sites aren't very long and will only fit a big rig, no vehicle. Since there's no overflow parking available, everybody's parked haphazardly on the streets (toads, pickup trucks...). Not only is it unsightly, it's also quite dangerous for young children because the permanent residents living at the back of the park tend to drive much too fast going through the RV area. FHU worked well, strong Rogers cell signal. No cable and nothing we could find over the air. We would not come back given a choice, but it's still about the best campground in the Canmore area. We camped at Spring Creek RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

The good reviews of this RV Campground and its closeness to Canmore brought us in. We stayed one night. Our spot backed onto the creek, the creek was lovely. The other people staying here were lovely. The washrooms were clean. I give this RV campground 2 stars for the reasons above. Now, would I stay again ? not on your life ? why ? the sites are equivalent to each RV being a sardine, and the whole site is a sardine can. You are so close you can hear EVERYTHING in the RV next to you. Your spot of grass is so small and so close to next RV you better be prepared to spend all the time in your RV. There is nothing relaxing or enjoyable about staying at this RV campground. Do yourself a favor and choose another spot. This place is not about your comfort or enjoyment or comfort during your stay, it's about profit and how many RV's c an they jam into a postage stamp. The train is noisy and shook our trailer and woke us up at least 3x that night. Our trailer pad went from creek to front street, so people and vehicles were mere inches from where we slept. It was impossible to park, and we had our SUV jammed up in front, ridiculous, like a LA freeway traffic jam, I've never experienced anything as laughable ! but heh, if you're there to party in Canmore and that's all that matters is that you have a crash pad, it's the spot for you ! DO NOT RECOMMEND and do not understand why this place gets rated positively ! Front office staff are nice, but seem stressed and I can see why ahahahahaha what a freakin zoo ! We camped at Spring Creek RV Campground in a Travel Trailer.

This campground was not as nice as we had hoped. Very muddy and full of large puddles when we got there. Lots of permanent residents in trailers are at the back of the campground and these people come and go through the park at all hours of the day and night, usually driving very fast. The Wi-Fi was horrible! I had to go to the picnic table behind the office just to get connected, and sometimes I could keep the connection when I went back to my RV but not for very long. It was really frustrating. They did not have cable so if the site was blocked by trees you couldn't get any TV reception at all. The location was right by a stream so that was nice. Sites were very narrow. You could walk on a nice trail into town. Lots of construction noise where they were building condos on the property next to RV park. We left early due to the crazy crowds in Banff and Canmore. Would not stay here again. We camped at Spring Creek RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
