We stayed here with a small RV group (10 units). Beautiful surroundings, RV park is in the middle of the golf course. Very well maintained, good power. No shade at the RV sites, but 50 amp power so could run the a/c if needed. Very friendly camp hosts. Big sites with huge grassy area behind the sites. It feels like you are camping in a park. We are not golfers, but several in our group enjoyed the golfing. Rate reflects PA. Wifi is available for a fee, but you are allowed 1 hr free every 24 hrs. We camped at Beaver Dam Golf and RV Resort in a Motorhome.

If you like the sun and no trees that is what this campground is. The sites are big and lots of room for slides because there are no trees. When we were there on a weekend it was so very, very hot that our trailer hooked up to 50 amp the A/C could barely keep up because there is no trees for shade. The one thing that I don't understand is that there is only one garbage bin for the whole campground in the middle of the campground where there is really no trees. Getting into the campground you have to pull through the golf course parking lot where there is a tight right turn. The parking lot is gravel and parking spacing are not marked so pulling through can be tricky. If you want a fire you have to bring your own fire pit and you are better to bring your own woods as there is NO TREES. All kidding a side if you like to camp and golf it looks like a really nice golf course where there is lots of trees. We camped at Beaver Dam Golf and RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Loved this campground located in the midst of a golf course. Sites are gravel, level, back in with an area to park the car beside. Picnic tables provided. Totally silent at night. Camp staff and other campers the friendliest we've ever found. C train into Calgary half an hour away; parking free at station. Golf clubhouse has a snack bar available. Laundromat completed by the end of June. Adult oriented; no playground but lots of room to ride a bike or run. Kids 8 and over are welcome on the golf course. Perfect for those of us who prefer a quiet spacious full hookup campground. Meant only for self contained units at this point; campground is fairly new and future plans include bath house facilities. We camped at Beaver Dam Golf and RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Awesome location in the country, quiet, great management, literally on the golf course-great view! Gravel level sites with grassy patch for kids/dogs to play in was great! Wi-Fi was available in the club house which you have to walk to and is only open til 9 PM, but it worked great. Be aware: do not camp here if you require showers or bathrooms. Bathrooms available in clubhouse until 9 PM and after 6 AM, no showers services available at all. Gate closes when they close the clubhouse and we needed to leave early so they gave us the code and we let ourselves out. We camped at Beaver Dam Golf and RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

The $30/day rate is based on weekly rate of $210. A nice place which is pretty new. It is in the middle of an 18 hole golf course that is very popular in this remote farmland area. A lot of golfers from Calgary come out to play here. The owners are very nice and helpful. You must walk or drive down to the clubhouse to use the Wi-Fi. Once there it is very strong. All back in sites. We camped at Beaver Dam Golf and RV Resort in a Motorhome.
