4 Parks near Rocky Mountain House, Alberta
Jul 2015 - $36.00
We stayed in the beautiful grassed area near the large children's play area. The whole place was immaculate. As well the owners and staff were among the most helpful we've encountered over many years of trailer-camping, including accompanying us to our site and helping our friends position and unhook their trailer. This is a well-run and maintained campground, near many attractions and amenities, set in a great location. - Visitor from Canmore
Jul 2015 - $33.00
Located on the Sask. River. Really beautiful campground, the sites were huge and the grounds really well kept. There was a little store located there and they did a dvd exchange which was convenient because we do not have satelite and our digital antenna would not pick up any channels. The only sites with full hook ups are located on the upper level of the park which are all seasonal people, but they did have a honey wagon and would pump you out for $20.00. Very nice park a member of Good Sam and well worth the money. The workampers they had there were awesome and the owners very helpful. Would definately go back. - Hummertraveler

This park has two totally different areas, which confuses some of the previous reviews. The area near the office consists of short narrow full service sites that seem to be taken by seasonal campers - all the facilities are here. The second area is a considerable distance away in a meadow, closer to the river but still not in sight of the river. Some sites are placed around the edge of the meadow against shade trees, others are laid out in a square grid in the center of the meadow. Some are pull-thru, some back-in, all have water and 30 amp. The sites are very large and on level grass, separated by fences. There is an RV dump station and nice looking pit toilets. There also appears to be a third area with a small number of sites along the river - I assume these are all seasonal. The meadow area is very well kept and pleasant, providing you were not expecting to have more facilities. - JTD2

This is a great place to camp if you are looking for a kid-friendly place with big private treed sites. We had a great time and will go back. - Bdes13

Great Park, nice setting, treed sites- definitely check it out - Camping4Rustic
Aug 2013 - $32.00
We stayed here two nights. Sites in area we were in are all back in but very easy and spacious. Layout is such that neighbors are forward or behind each other giving nice roomy feel. Staff were friendly and helpful at check in. Golf course is very nice. This park is on our must return for longer stay list. - mijo
Sep 2016 - $12.00
This is the best campground in all of Canada, in our opinion. Gated community with roving patrol. Free firewood, fire ring, 2 picnic tables, and large pad. Nice pools and hot tubs. Very clean bathrooms and showers. Able to get satellite and wifi. Cell service was spotty. - Coy R
Jul 2016 - $70.00
This park is awesome. Clean and well run. Showers, bathrooms, laundry, 2 pools, kids activities for free or cheap, horse barn and petting zoo.
Water and power on site, they will come and pump your tanks for $25. The wood is included in the price of reservation. Showers and pool also no charge.
This is a membership park with some public camping, you need to book and then select a campsite based on what is open.
There's a huge playground and organized kids activities. You can play bingo, eat pancake breakfast or just lounge at the pool.
Sites are trees and private, or you can have sun and close to playground.
Membership here is worth it. Staying for a week is like a mini vacation close to home. - Cruicks
