Rate of $34 USD includes 10% Good Sam discount for a FHU, 50amp, pull-thru, level, gravel site with a concrete patio. All services worked well. There is no privacy between sites. The park is large and open with very little landscaping. We had good Verizon cell and internet reception. We had good DishTV satellite reception. We used this park to R&R and to resupply before heading into Jasper/Banff. We would stay here again. We camped at Diamond Grove RV Campground in a Motorhome.

The West Edmonton Mall is quite a place with many shops and restaurants, but also an ice rink, huge indoor wave pool, and an amusement park.

Nightly rate is Canadian $ including tax and Good SAMs Discount, and for a 50 amp pull through full hook-up site. The park is just a few miles west of Edmonton in the Spruce Grove community, making it a great place to visit the Edmonton area. Access to the park is very easy west of the Edmonton loop highway 216, and off Highway 16A. There is significant shopping including a large Walmart, many grocery stores, resturants and other stores, all within a couple miles or less of the park all on highway 16A. This park is fairly new, about 5 or 6 yeas old. All buildings are in excellent condition. Interior roads and sites are all hard packed gravel with a concrete pad, picnic table and a nice grass strip between each site. Several local OTA TV stations are available, and satellite access is good from most sites in the park. If satellite access is needed you may not want any of the sites at the far south side of the park due to a tree line. The park WiFi worked well most of the day except mid evening hours. Though not directly a part of the park, there is a large fantastic well fenced municipal off-leash dog park along the east side of the park with both small dog and large dog designated areas. We camped at Diamond Grove RV Campground in a Motorhome.

The dollar per night is in Canadian funds. The staff was very friendly. Satellite and their Internet worked at our site. It was quiet and a good place to stay. There is a small store in the office. We camped at Diamond Grove RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Well-maintained park with very few trees. Level, gravel campsites with approximately fifteen feet of grass between each site. Small playground for young children. Has a community center for showers, restrooms and laundry facility. Picnic tables. Full hook-ups. Fire pits. Wi-Fi decent. TV reception okay with few channels available. No privacy. We camped at Diamond Grove RV Campground in a Motorhome.

We stayed here a couple of years ago when it was under construction and frankly not impressed at that time. This stay we were pleasantly surprised with how well they have progressed. Location of sewer and electrical outlets can be a problem when entering with a big rig and toad, they are near the back of the site so when entering with a toad you will have to unhook and park the toad in front. But overall quite level and nicely graveled. Staff were friendly and helpful. We camped at Diamond Grove RV Campground in a Motorhome.

The park is nicely layed out both for big rig access and utilities. Large spaces, open areas good for satellite.

The office staff are very nice and happily accommodated us as we were uncertain how long our stay would be.

Great location for visiting Edmonton and area, as well easy to find if travelling Highway 16.

I would have rated higher but it does lack a pool/clubhouse which is unfortunately common in Alberta parks.

Will defiantly stay again when in the area. We camped at Diamond Grove RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tried to set up our coach in site 150. Was sloped to front beyond auto level system tolerance. Was then moved to 159, better, but too soft for coach jacks, sank 4 inches. When we checked out, my wife tripped at entrance to office and scarped leg and knee, bruised arm and wrists. I asked office for first aid kit to no avail. They stood around looking at us like we were from Mars. There was no offer to call ambulance or offer any medical attention. They claim to be a 5 star resort....far from it. The place is owned by 4 partners who don't know anything about customer service including how to make a proper site for Big Rigs. Also, be careful when pulling into sites, the power and water and sewer services are incorrectly installed 1/3 into the gravel pad where you are supposed to park you unit. Amateurs, not worth the $54 CDN we paid per night. I asked if they plan on putting in concrete pads, you guessed it, a big NO. They have been open for 4 years, you would think they would have learned something. I would not stay here again! We camped at Diamond Grove RV Campground in a Motorhome.

The park was very nice. It is newer, and very well cared for. Staff was friendly and very helpful. The only downside was the WiFi was non-existent for the three days we were there. The excuses were typical of most parks:

1. We've been having problems with it, and someone is coming to look at it tomorrow.

2. I just work here, and don't have the code to reset it.

3. Try it again in an hour or so. It might be up by then. (Of course, it never was.)

It never did work. I don't think most parks with poor WiFi realize how much future business they lose by advertising it, and then not telling you it's not working until you inquire if it's working or not, after you're set up. My wife and I keep a list of parks with good WiFi, and it is not very long. Those are the parks that get our repeat business. Although Diamond Grove is a very nice campground, we will not be back because of the poor to non-existent WiFi. When on the road, it's how we RV'rs keep in contact with friends, family, business, and finance. We camped at Diamond Grove RV Campground in a Motorhome.

Overall, pretty good experience. After check in, we were driven to our site, adequate size for a back in, but a little on the narrow side. I don't recall when I made the reservation if I asked for a specific site, I feel if you don't get the vote when you reserve, you should get a vote when you check in off what's available, but not the case here. Also, one other pet peeve, if your wifi isn't working, you should state that up front, not wait until asked about it. And if the whole system is down, there should be some discount afforded. Suffice to say, we weren't notified their system was down until my wife asked about it, and we weren't offered any additional refund. In fact, in their nice check in guide, which is well done, it stated that if any of their services they advertise are not working, it's not their fault, no refunds will be given, and if you want to go elsewhere, they're still going to charge you since you're inside the cancellation window. Disappointed.
That said, this is a decent park, lots of spaces, but many are close to on top of each other. The bathrooms and other facilities were great. They have had a lot of the Fort McMurray folks in their park the last few weeks and it was good to see they were doing some things to help those folks. On the day we arrived, they were doing a free chili cookout - they also offered free laundry soap for them. I think there were a few other things, that was good to see.
The showers were pay for use, which we find a bit odd coming from the states, but when in Rome! We did not use them.
The absolute best thing about this park is it is adjacent to a city dog off leash dog park. This place is great, especially if you have a high energy dog, it's several acres with a walking track for the humans. The only drawback here is the mosquitos.
All in all, decent location, good service, clean facilities, laundry a little pricey. As to whether we'd stay here again, maybe if services advertised are available. We camped at Diamond Grove RV Campground in a Travel Trailer.

The park is well laid out, 35 ft fifth wheel and plenty of room to stay connected if staying for a night. Sewer is on the back end of the lot so unless you have extra hose difficult to reach. We were escorted to our spot and the water wasn't working, once they knew this we were given another spot right away, they certainly are there to help you enjoy your stay! Easy location to get too and for those travelling North very convenient. Satellite friendly but no cable. Dog friendly and the community off leash park borders the park. We camped at Diamond Grove RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

First off, if WiFi is important to you, this park does not have it at all, despite saying so on their website. Apparently they have been in a dispute for 2 years with their service provider, ample time to update their website with their true amenities. The sites are a decent length and the bathrooms are clean but those are my only positives. No cable, only 2 real channels over the air, no playground and if you opt to use the showers, you have to pay for them, which I think is ridiculous when you're already paying $50 a night. Had a rather rude encounter with one staff member, who I gather is a problem as a much nicer staff member came over afterwards to ask if the guy had been rude and apologized for his behavior. The "pads" were soft asphalt, i.e. your unit will start sinking and listing if you remain for more than a day so level up carefully. Also, virtually no trees in the park, just grass strips between the asphalt strips. Okay for overnight, nothing more. We would not stay here again. We camped at Diamond Grove RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Conveniently located to Edmonton which has a lot of activities and sights to see. Very nice campground. Well laid out with FHUs. Staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. Large off-leash dog park adjacent to campground making this location very pet friendly. No WiFi on site. One of the best campgrounds we visited in Canada. Would recommend this campground. This is a two-year old park that is terrific for big rigs. It's very large, the hookups are all well placed and worked great. The staff are friendly and helpful. The site was level and gravel. Each site has a picnic table as well. This is one of the finest parks we stayed at during our trip to Alaska from Texas. The town of Spruce Grove is also very nice and has all the retail stores necessary to restock. There are also several RV dealers nearby. Highly recommend. Relatively new RV park just 15 minutes from West Edmonton Mall. Located in Spruce Grove, there are restaurants, grocery stores, & shopping all within a few minutes drive.

Sites are large & open. We have a 44' RV so it's definitely big-rig friendly! The park is attached to a huge off-leash dog park, which is fabulous for pet owners.

About the only complaint I have is the advertised WiFi isn't actually available. I gather it's been down for ages, with little hope of it being connected anytime soon.

I'd definitely go back & would also recommend this park. We camped at Diamond Grove RV Campground in a Motorhome.
