Nice park in the suburbs of Edmonton. Conveniently located near the main freeways giving easy access to the sights in the area. Bike path and park area adjacent to the park. Clean bathrooms and showers and reasonable wi-fi. Sites are gravel, but spacing is good between sites. Management was great to work with. We highly recommend this park if in the area. See our full review and pictures at www.thegilliamsisland.com. We camped at St. Albert Kinsmen RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very nice park, paved roads and gravel sites although if you have a heavy motorhome make sure you ask, so you don't get a "soft" site!! This park is on an old dump site and they have had problems of sinking gravel, even my 18,000 pound 5th wheel made tracks in the gravel. Staff very friendly. Water pressure good, wifi one of the best we've had in over a 100 parks! One thing I've never seen, at the power hookup they have a 50 amp plug but they have strapped to the pole a 30 amp cord converter, what a great thought!! Definitely would recommend and would stay here again. We camped at St. Albert Kinsmen RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Lots of good walking trails along the Sturgeon River. On Saturdays, through most of the months of summer, there is a huge farmers market, make sure you take this in, well worth it!.

Very quiet and well maintained rv park. Park, playground, and trails nearby. Was told there is a dog park across the road but did not go due to having to cross tall, muddy grass areas with short legged, small dog. Friendly and helpful staff. 30 minutes to downtown Edmonton via easy access to freeways. We camped at St. Albert Kinsmen RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

The nearby Enjoy Centre offers organic groceries, candles, gourmet foods, plant nursery. Drove through but did not stop in charming downtown St Albert. Did visit Edmonton and attended year round, indoor Old Strathcona Farmer's Market, and rode the High Level Bridge Streetcar to visit the Alberta Legislature building. Heritage Park Historical Village was a cross between more amusement than living history but the unlimited train ride was fun.

We have stayed here numerous times.

This is an excellent campground, clean, fresh and improving.

July 2016, and still no trees. 50Amp service is okay now, all sites have adaptors at the power post. Wifi is now third party, but still is unacceptable, down some time, poor quality and very slow. There is no cable and I find this unacceptable too. Manager is very good, but does not respond to email reservation requests. Great showers, powerful heads like a power washer. Only one toilet in the men's. Great location and accessibility. We will stay again as this is the best in a wide area. We camped at St. Albert Kinsmen RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

We use this location to visit friends and relatives. We use the extensive pathways frequently, and this is a bonus to us. Our GPS is inaccurate in this area, but we manage to find the campground easily.

Clean, organized and well managed. Lots of long term campers in high-end motorhomes / rigs. Good location for Saint Albert but perhaps a little expensive at $50/night.

Wifi absolutely rubbish, full signal but wouldn't load any websites - management are aware and are working on a solution (apparently).

Take a 50A adapter or rent one from the site management at $6/night.

Suspect our pitch was used solely for short-termers as looked like it needed a bit of a spruce up but did the job and was pretty level none-the-less. We camped at St. Albert Kinsmen RV Park in a Motorhome.

One of the 5 best campgrounds we've ever stayed at. Service is like Concierge Service at a Monaco Hotel... Park has lots of full-timers driving massive coaches, fifth wheels and Class A. Makes for a very nice campground. They do accept smaller units without a problem. Manager lives on site and is helpful, and then some.

Facilities are extremely clean, all connections are state of the art.

Manager extremely knowledgeable of attractions, and is very friendly.

This campground sets the bar very high... We camped at St. Albert Kinsmen RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Convenient for visiting Edmonton or St Albert. Clean but very bare. No amenities outside of power and water. Large park across the street for dog walking. Sites are very open and close together with no privacy but again very easy access to the city and freeways. We camped at St. Albert Kinsmen RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Nicely laid out, easy for big rigs to get in and out. Sites are fairly large and long enough for a 45' with toad unhooked. FHU work well, strong electric power even on hot days (50-amp only, bring an adapter if need be or rent one from the campground). Strong cell signal from all carriers. No pool, no cable, but a there is a nice playground for young ones. The campground is very clean and well maintained. About half of the sites are occupied by snowbirds in higher-end motorhomes and fifth-wheel trailers, and there is no clutter (management is very strict about this). Located directly beside a great paved multi-use trail along the Sturgeon river. That trail leads directly to St. Albert's downtown (about 3 km/1.8 mile), complete with nice restaurants and an awesome market every Saturday during the summer. Will definitely stay here again. We camped at St. Albert Kinsmen RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Carpark camping at its finest, or worst, depending on how you look at it. Not a tree in sight so must be good for those who must have a satellite signal. Rate was with GS discount but still very expensive. It is all about location. It happened to be a wet day & the site assigned, apparently one they use a lot for transients, was very soggy & could use some freshening up with gravel. Good for the one nighter. Not a destination CG by any stretch. WIFI, though at no extra charge as it should be, was very slow & sometimes intermittent. We camped at St. Albert Kinsmen RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here twelve days and believe it the best choice in the Edmonton area. The park is well laid out and reasonably well maintained. Staff were efficient but only available in the office on a two hour a day routine (possibly due to operation by a service group). The sites were well laid out, reasonably spacious and there was lots of attractive grassed area. Other peoples' comments that some sites had soft gravel are valid, although we escaped that issue. There are walking trails just outside the fence, it is quiet except for the rare train (I love to hear them) and close to one of the best areas (St Albert) in the greater Edmonton area. As for amenities, the Wi-Fi was the best I have had in an RV park while the lack of cable is my one real complaint. I will return. If you want a site reserve early, as the park was full most nights. We camped at St. Albert Kinsmen RV Park in a Motorhome.

This park now has Wi-Fi, and at least two rows of sites have improved surface, though some sites still appear to have rut issues. That said, this is a great place to camp in the Edmonton area. Sites are good size. Sites on the curves of the road are huge. Several sites back up on the river and rec path and are especially nice. Sunsets here are gorgeous. Nights were quiet though there was a train or two. The rec path right next to the park was super. We walked or biked to the Farmers' Market, the grocery store, the mall, and Canadian Tire. The price reflects the monthly rate. We will definitely camp here again. We camped at St. Albert Kinsmen RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

The good. Easy access. No overhanging trees, great location. The bad, no Wi-Fi, no laundry, and no cable. The ugly, soft sites. If it rains you will be stuck there. We camped at St. Albert Kinsmen RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

On paper this should be a nice park but it misses the mark. They say Wi-Fi hot spot but its two properties away in the Kinsman hall. I drove down a few times but was unable to connect. Never saw another camper there that could get it to work. Sites are gravel mixed with dirt. It was dry when we pulled in and left 6-8" ruts. Jacks and stabilizers will sink out of site and you rig will sink throughout your stay. No laundry and lots of construction noise during the day. Bathroom access by combination lock that often did not work. We camped at St. Albert Kinsmen RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
