We stayed here for four nights. Two nights were $45 Cdn and two nights were $55 Cdn due to a long weekend surcharge. This campground is within minutes drive to the Waterton National Parks main entrance. I'm sure everyone staying at this park does so because it's so hard to get a camping spot right in the Waterton townsite. Our site, 59, was flat and easy to pull into with enough space to open the awning comfortably. We thoroughly enjoyed the adjacent nature trail and the excellent photo viewpoints. The RV area is very open with few trees, however, the tenting area is cut out of a heavily treed area. Quite the contrast. We were there on a long weekend and the campground was very very busy. This may have led to washrooms being not too clean. We opted not to use them or the showers. The staff was very friendly and helpful, doing their best to accommodate everyone. You had to pay extra for WiFi and tried it out for only one day but the signal was too weak to use. There are no services close by and limited services (gas and groceries) in Waterton. Make sure you stock up in Pincher Creek. We enjoyed the immediate area and, of course, loved Waterton Park. We would stay here again but would make the Townsite campgrounds our first choice. We camped at Waterton Springs Campground (Private) in a Travel Trailer.

This camp will close for the winter October 1, 2017, and may never reopen. The park's land is being added to the national park. It's possible the park will reopen as a provincial park. We camped at Waterton Springs Campground (Private) in a Motorhome.

The park is located a short drive to the Waterton park and town. We had a pull through site that included a picnic table and more than adequate space for trailer and pick up. The park is actually larger than you can see upon entering. There are many shaded areas and tenting areas. A trail is located on the property maintained by the local conservancy group. There is a coin laundry on site and a small store. It had minimum supplies but that may have been that the season was coming to an end. We chose to leave after two days whensmoke from the local fires was getting much too think. We had enjoyed time in Waterton but did no hiking or biking again because of the smoke. It was an easy drive to Pitcher Creek for major grocery shopping at the co-op but there is also a Walmart. We camped at Waterton Springs Campground (Private) in a Travel Trailer.

This RV park is very nice, but the thing that makes it so special is the view of the eastern slope of the Rocky Mountains. We had a breathtaking view from our living room. All utilities worked fine, but we couldn't get any TV. Internet service was available for $5.00 per day, but we didn't use it. There's an interpretive trail that one can walk their dogs on and it's beautiful. We took the trail and it's about a 45-minute hike. The road down to the park is very bumpy and rutted so one needs to take it very slowly. Waterton National Park is every bit as beautiful and rugged as its sister park, Glacier in Montana. I would highly recommend this park to anyone who's coming to southeast Alberta. We camped at Waterton Springs Campground (Private) in a Fifth Wheel.

We had been staying at the Waterton Townsite campground, but were unable to extend our reservation over the weekend, thus we booked 2 nights at Waterton Springs. It is only 3 km outside the Ntl Park gate and across the road from the Buffalo Paddock. The full service sites, as you would expect, are side-by-side-by-side. Each site has a picnic table and fire pit (firewood $13). We were in site #61, which is at the end of a row, and when entered from the wrong direction, has a nice view of the mountains. WiFi is $5/day, showers are $1 for 6 minutes and laundry is $2.25 wash, $1 for 24 minutes drying. There is a lovely 1km prairie trail at the back of the campground. Staff are most friendly and helpful. We camped at Waterton Springs Campground (Private) in a Fifth Wheel.

We have stayed twice in this park. We only needed power for our camper. Had site 111 was large treed fire pit. Was a lovely campsite. Will stay here again.

Several years ago we stayed and we left several things behind. Called office they retrieved them for us. The operators are very warm friendly people I highly recommend this campground to people who love to camp. We will be back next year. We camped at Waterton Springs Campground (Private) in a Truck Camper.

If going to the National Park, this is a good option. Roads are a little rough, everything is dirt and gravel, but the park is nice. No TV access without a satellite. WiFi is weak. Campground is about 3 miles from the National Park, and about 15 miles from the US border. We camped at Waterton Springs Campground (Private) in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here with friends while visiting Waterton Lake National Park. We are glad we stayed at this campground rather the Town Park. Much more room to spread out and much quieter. We would return to this campground if we visit here again. Very friendly person who registered us-which is always a positive. We camped at Waterton Springs Campground (Private) in a Motorhome.

We were placed in a field with hookups. The site was extremely unlevel and we were not even sure where our site ended and the next one began. We were placed in an area with no restroom and no shelter from the winds in spite of placing a reservation for our tent trailer a month before. Restroom had bird poop inside. Did not try the showers. Paid for 2 nights but after 70 mph winds and little sleep we left after one. Location is the ONLY thing this place has going for it! We would NOT stay here again! We camped at Waterton Springs Campground (Private) in a Tent Trailer.

We were late arriving but the proprietor was extremely accommodating and very welcoming & friendly. Unfortunately there seemed to be a lot of twenty somethings enjoying too much of a long weekend. The restrooms and showers were pretty dirty. We had to pick up empty beer cans from our site - so, we didn't consider this "family camping". We camped at Waterton Springs Campground (Private) in a Travel Trailer.

The nightly fee was $30 plus $5 for wi-fi. The Wi-fi was very slow and did not work sometimes. I don't think it was worth the additional $5. There is a gravel road, down in a small valley. We still had good view of mountains around the Waterton Park area. It is a ten minute drive into Waterton Park and town site. There is Buffalo viewing within one mile. There are few trees in park. It can be very windy. We camped at Waterton Springs Campground (Private) in a Motorhome.

Not only were all the staff friendly, helpful and flexible- the choice of sites was excellent. There are ponds, small fields, trails, hills. Incredible scenery. The showers, washroom and laundry are the cleanest I've seen. A gem of a place- minutes from the Wateron townsite and without the wind! We camped at Waterton Springs Campground (Private) in a Fifth Wheel.

Large grassy area with hookups and numbered sites and picnic table at each site, not much else. There are trees around the perimeter. Laid back staff. Pay your money & enjoy your stay. Very windy. We did not stay at Waterton Townsite because of reviews that said it was usually windy there. Almost no people at the campground, very quiet. Very close to Waterton National Park. If I had it to do again, I would probably stay at Waterton Townsite instead. We camped at Waterton Springs Campground (Private) in a Fifth Wheel.

This park was clearly marked, "closed for the season", but I pulled in anyway. The proprietor was friendly and welcomed me if I was only overnighting. (which I had intended). He provided a quiet, full service level site on crushed gravel. An area of grass and a picnic table were part of the site. There were other campers in the park that worked in the oil business. They were quiet and rarely seen. It was just an o.k. park and I would probably choose something else if I was in the area again. We camped at Waterton Springs Campground (Private) in a Motorhome.
