Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $33.00
We stayed here for an extended period of about three months, and can confirm that this campground is definitely not worth the price. The water is very alkaline with lots of gas entrained in it. The power is marginal. We encountered many very severe voltage drops when the place was busy, to the extent that we may have had some damage to our electronics. At minimum, the 30 amp circuit breaker tripped quite regularly, despite the fact that we were using no more power than we had at any other places in eight years of full-timing. Worst of all, though, was the attitude of the owners. The first thing you see in the office is a picture of the owner with a gun and a big club, accompanied by a sign that reads "obey the rules or meet the enforcer". That hardly generated a welcoming feeling. Finally, the place has no laundry facility. We will never stay here again. Avoid this place! We camped at Prairie Breeze in a Fifth Wheel.Undo
