Overall Rating:

We stayed here 2 days and would stay again. While there is some debris around the edges and on the terrific path near the park (perfect for the dogs); the park is otherwise fine. Dated, yes, but so what? The price shown was before a discount. The park has full amenities-- the basics. I prefer dirt and gravel to having everything (!) paved over; I was more comfortable walking our 3 large dogs here. I don't get the other reviewers' comments about "year-rounders." Yes, there are some residence RVs and a mobile homes here, but they appeared to be well-kept and quiet. We were here 2 nights. We camped at Mountain View RV Ranch in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Mt View is on the frontage road or the highway and has a train nearby, so you're better off with a spot behind the office, etc. (a bit further from the road). The Safeway in Green Valley is quite a drive. The specialty grocery store in Tubac is only 5-10 minutes away and it has everything you need, though it is more pricey. It is more of a gourmet store but beats the longer drive to Green Valley for just a few items.

Date of Stay: April, 2008 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

This RV park is basically an old run down former KOA. If you like camping in the dirt, you'll be just fine. Some gravel would go a long way here! The park is full of some very old shabby RVs inhabited by some nice, yet edgy, characters. One site was rented to a fellow living in his minivan with an electric cord running out the window. We saw him stroll out to the dessert to relieve himself. You get the picture. Biggest disappointment was the lack of WiFi, although it was advertised as available on their website. Not true! On a positive note, the cable TV selection was excellent, electric power was good and stable, and the water pressure was good. We will never stay here again. We camped at Mountain View RV Ranch in a Travel Trailer.
