The people working in the office and mail room are real rude? Not sure if they are French Canadian, but they do not want to answer questions or help you. Flat rude to ignore you and act like they are over worked! We camped at Countryside RV Resort in a Motorhome.

dirty sites, rude office people. They close the post office way to early! They do not heat the jaccuzi hot enough to help relax muscles.

Arrived on New Years day. No one at registration but a number to call got someone there quickly and they escorted us to a site along the road (Rt 88) which was busy and noisy. TT members get the lowest quality sites along the road and it was very tight backing in. Even the front entrance was a tight turn and a tight right-left combo at registration. Long class A's would do well to unhook prior to entering and have spouse drive vehicle in. Just prior to my arrival, a 5th wheeler had cleaned off the whole side of a car in a tight turn. It had rained that morning and the site was muddy. Water is hard and lots of minerals, woman who took us to site told us not to drink the water (no smell or anything). VZW was good thankfully as no free wifi or cable, but TV reception great (40+ channels), just point towards PHX. Nice amenities and people were friendly. TT was "free" but $4/day "resort fee". Very active golf community and was contacted by an onsite jeep club that has regular outings too. Sites were really close which is typical for the area and we were between 2 seasonal members, one of which was a permanent residence. But seasonals were well kept and free of clutter. We camped at Countryside RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We have stayed here in the past and nothing has changed. Staff is pretty much clueless, but friendly. An RV/Park Model resort with activities going pretty much all the time. Snake Hole Golf is challenging, sand course, members play two 9 hole scrambles a week. RV sites along the perimeter walls are pretty noisy from traffic along Idaho Road and nearby AZ-60 freeway. All RV sites are back-in, gravel and crushed rock and a concrete patio pad. Park your RV on one side of the pad and park the Tow Vehicle or Toad on the opposite. Utilities are to the rear of the site and sewer near the center. Laundry and restroom/showers are clean. There is as practice driving range/net and a small putting green for the golfers, next to the laundry/restroom facility. We enjoy our time here and will return. We camped at Countryside RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Many different shopping centers within a short drive of the CG. Fry's for groceries and fuel at Idaho Road and Apache Trail, five minutes away. A drive on the historic Apache Trail for scenery and fun. Mexican dining at Los Gringos Locos, across from Fry's at Phelps and Apache Trail. Lots of good eateries within minutes just about any direction.

This is an older park with a mix of RV sites and permanent park models. Both electric and water pressure were low. Some roads have been repaved and others still awaiting repaving. Laundry rooms were clean. Wifi signal was weak and requires you to purchase data time which we did not.

Our paid rate for for Thousand Trails members per night. We will stay here again as convenient to friends and family. We camped at Countryside RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This is a large, gated facility associated with TTN/Encore. We spent two weeks there this year and our site was large enough, back-in was easy, and we had concrete patio the length of the 5th wheel. Utilities are easy to reach, good electrical, very hard water supply. Staff is friendly and helpful, sometimes not responsive to specific complaints. Wind blew debris out of the palm trees one night and the next day staff came around and cleaned it up. Snake Hole GC is still there and as much fun as ever. Members organize several different activities and everyone is cordial and friendly. Idaho Road is a major street from the interchange at AZ-60 and gets very noisy on weekends. All the amenities here are in good condition and the pool and hot tub are used a lot. Shuffle board court is busy. We enjoy our time here and will return next winter. Wide interior streets, all asphalt. Friendly people. Big space. We had # 95, some street noise. We stayed here in a 40 footer 3 slide. Good water pressure, 50 amp. Good AT&T signal. Pad is gravel with a LARGE cement patio. We camped at Countryside RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Management has changed and the staff is cordial and helpful. We were assigned a "long term" site due to the length of our stay this time. As ELS/TTN members during peak season the schedule changes, but we were able to remain in the site rather than move to another after the first week. Snake Hole Golf Course is fun as every. Member Services talked to us several times during our stay for our opinion on the changes in the facility and sites. We believe the park has changed significantly and recommend it to others. Member generated activities provide a ton of different things to do here, including organized QUAD excursions in the area. The park is close to everything, lots of trails, points of interest and good shopping. We will definitely stay here again next winter. We camped at Countryside RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice, clean park. Thousand Trails exchange membership. MOSTLY FULL-TIME RESIDENTS and transient customers get 'SECOND CLASS' treatment. In other words, if you don't live here, you 'don't belong' and are treated as such. Pets are an issue for 'NON PET' residents. Management was pleasant, professional and accommodating. Residents are very clickish! We camped at Countryside RV Resort in a .

Rate is the Thousand Trails discounted rate. Apache Junction is in the eastern most part of the Phoenix metro area and the beautiful Superstition Mountains are quite nearby. This is primarily a snowbird park. Road after road is filled with park model trailers, most of them older but well kept. Most have some level of site improvement such as car ports or a built-on rooms or landscaping. The sites are small and folks find ways to make use of every square inch of space. The RV sites are gravel with small concrete slabs and utility hookups. These sites are also rather small, especially those that abut against the park model sites which, as I say, are making use of every inch of space. The only trees are tall palm trees which are picturesque but offer no shade. Our early October stay put us in the resort just ahead of the first winter arrivals so the property was very quiet and empty feeling. In a month or less I’m guessing this place will be filling up with it’s 55+ crowd of winter people. At the heart of the campground is an Activity Center and pool. There’s a large meeting hall and library plus a billiards room, post office, shuffleboard, and other amenities. I think it would be interesting to try this place out in January-March when things are in full swing. We camped at Countryside RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

TTN Rate Reciprocal. Two major issues. 1) Sites are too close together. 2) Customer service is terrible. Some upgrading and road repair took place during our stay this time. Twice the water was shut off to the entire CG for system repairs. Water pressure is poor even after repairs. Manager is very helpful and friendly person but that doesn't make up for the "attitude." Site #542 is not a quality location. A Gas Station and Diner are right over the 6 foot concrete wall and vehicles have access to the quality sites. Overall, we enjoy our stays here but given a choice would prefer an interior site over the perimeter. 24 hours a day noisy and raucous going and coming to and these businesses. Short term visitors don't have access to quality sites. Given a choice, we would prefer an interior site over the perimeter sites. We enjoy our stays here and look forward to returning next winter. We camped at Countryside RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tight spaces, not level and extremely cramped. Wi-Fi is available but is extra cost. No cable, must use your own satellite or on air antenna (got about 10 local channels). Lots of activities for returning snow-birders. "Dog park" consists of key to gate to walk on leash outside property. No full time security but gate locked when office closed and on weekends. Friendly check-in staff and park host helped us get backed in. Hookups are at back of site so bring more than 25 ft hoses for water, electric, and sewer. Rate reflects membership discount. Due to cramped sites, I would not stay here again. We camped at Countryside RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

This is an older Snowbird park and is starting to show it's age. It was well kept and properly maintained. Space was level, clean, and larger than a lot of other parks. All of the normal activities. Most of our neighbors were long time visitors and were friendly. Our only complaint was the management. They seemed to have a 'fat cat' attitude and you could take it or leave it. Maneuvering inside the park was easy and so was parking. Road noise from outside was minimal in spite of the parks location on a busy hwy. We would not stay here again due to the manager's attitude when one of our cats 'escaped' for about 30 minutes. She was both rude and quick tempered over the incident. TTN Rate. This time we set up in #442, an interior site well away from Idaho Rd and much quieter. The park offers a number of activities for residents and guests, planned and hosted by members. The Snake Hole Golf Course has been updated since our last stay but still sand golf at its best. Snowbirds are migrating into the Resort now but there is plenty of room to move around and navigate even a big rig. Interior sites offer ample room to park a 40' coach or a 5th wheel, with concrete patio and additional parking for toad or tow vehicle. Staff is friendly and courteous, stays on top of issues that need fixing or diplomacy. Maximum 2 week stay with TTN and reservations can be hard to come by. Facilities and amenities are well maintained and clean. There is new equipment in the gym and exercise rooms. Wi-Fi isn't very good but most wireless cards will pull in a strong 3G or 4G signal and 50+ HDTV over the air stations. We enjoy our stay here and will return in the near future to connect with migrating friends. We camped at Countryside RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
