Roads are asphalt, as well as some sites. Mine was gravel. Check-in was quick and staff were friendly.

Wi-fi was terrible, if I could connect it was very slow. Verizon Jetpack worked fine. Cell phone coverage was excellent.
Laundry was good ($1.50 wash/dry).
CG is far enough from the interstate that you don't get much noise from it.
Nice CG to use as a base to visit the tourist attractions. We camped at Cochise Terrace RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Cochise Stronghold is worth the trip and visit. The last 6 miles are dirt.

Stayed here for 10 days. The park was very clean, quiet and spacious. To date the best park we have stayed in. The only bad part about this park was the very poor WiFi. Everyone was friendly, both clients and staff. Nice dog runs outside the park. We camped at Cochise Terrace RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Benson is a great central location to travel to Tombstone, Sierra Vista and Tucson. Lots to do here and a great place to come to.

This campground has lots of permanent people as they focus on selling the sites, half for campers and the other half for mobile homes. We had a site right by the office which was okay but it was completely tarred and was more like a parking space. Getting in and out was very easy and the roads are all paved. We used this campground because it was close to 3 National Parks. We didn't use any park facilities but the people and staff were very friendly. We would definitely stay again. We camped at Cochise Terrace RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Three National Parks within a 70 mile radius, Coronado, Chircarhua, Saguaro.

We were just overnighters, so were placed in a paved parking lot with hookups. There were no amenities at the site and it wasn't level, sloping to the side. We did get an escort to the site, but could have found it easily anyway. We had no time to explore any part of the park. Wf-fi, while it existed, was very slow. Park may be fine for longer stays. Price was a little high for what we got. We camped at Cochise Terrace RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This is a great park. Just a short distance off I 10. Very well maintained, the staff is friendly and helpful. Upon arrival they welcomed us and provided a free ticket for the dinner meal being offered at their cafe that evening. Sites were level, and spacious. The trains did go by, but they were so far away the bother was minimal. A very nice RV Park. We camped at Cochise Terrace RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Karchner Caves is 9 miles down the road; Tombstone is about 45 min away and Saguaro National Park is about 45 min to the west via I 10.

This is a great park. Welcoming and well maintained. Nice facilities (pool, rec hall, on and off leash dog areas, room for walking) We were assigned a large level, paved pull through site near the office so no need to unhook. We even got free dinner at their rec hall included with our camping fee which is apparently offered one night per week. Everyone was very friendly which contributed to an overall great vibe. We were only here for an overnight and were able to get a PA rate but would consider staying here longer on another visit. Lots to see and do in this area as well. You can even wash your rig for $5 fee at this RV resort. We camped at Cochise Terrace RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

This is a beautiful area, surrounded by mountains. We noted some interesting rock formations about 15 minutes away near Dragoon that begged to be explored. There is golfing in the area as well as hiking. Several of the permanent residents of the park go "jeeping" every Wednesday.

Some of the nicest people we encountered on our return trip from Big Bend. Large pull through site with excellent freeway access. Gentlemen came and picked up our propane tank, filled it, then brought it back us. Excellent showers and laundry services. A great spot for overnight, or a few days. There is much to do in the area. We will stop here again next year for sure. Excellent! We camped at Cochise Terrace RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This is what RV Parks should be! Cochise Terrace is well-designed, well-maintained, and well-operated. We stayed here for a month from mid-December to mid-January. Our rate reflects a monthly rate, and we did pay for electricity as well. If the Wi-Fi becomes slow, request the office to re-boot the router and reception will improve dramatically. Cable TV includes 100 channels. The bulk of the staff are work-campers who go out of their way to be helpful, friendly, and courteous. The park operates a small café Monday through Saturday in the "Barn," and your first night's camp fee includes a complimentary dinner. We ate there often for light tasty dinners, including a soft drink and desert, for $5. The park is laid out in sections--manufactured homes, mixed owner-occupied park models/RV's, and monthly/seasonal RV's. The large paved parking lot near the office is used for pull-through short term stays. Even these sites include full hook-ups and a picnic table. The sites are large (at least 50' wide), level, gravel, convenient hook-ups, and include a picnic table. Beautiful desert landscaping throughout the park. Wide paved access roads wind through the park - not just straight rows here. The Crow's Nest clubhouse includes a kitchenette, fire place, couches, tables for card playing, a pool table, laundry facility, bathrooms and showers. Entire park is kept immaculately clean. Sites are promptly raked after departure so they are pristine when you pull in. VERY active community with many activities on the daily schedule. We participated in the weekly hiking and Jeep club activities. There are also exercise classes, game/card playing, car pool trips to SE Arizona attractions, bi-weekly potlucks. Many long-term residents who make newcomers feel right at home. We rarely stay in one location for more than a week or two. This is a park we could easily spend the entire winter season. We camped at Cochise Terrace RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Area hiking is amazing. Truly enjoyed hikes at Cochise Stronghold, Parker Canyon Lake, and Chiricahua National Monument.

Cochise Terrace RV Park is conveniently located just off the highway and is one of the nicest parks we have stayed in. The amenities are beautiful and the service from the staff is unsurpassed. We had a roomy pull-thru site that was easy in and out to keep our car trailer hooked up and plenty of room to park our car. Asphalt site with picnic table. We would definitely visit this park again when in the area or for an extended stay. We camped at Cochise Terrace RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Not far from Bisbee, Arizona - a nice drive up and back and beautiful scenery.

The site was level. We were given a pull thru site. We didn't have to unhook our jeep because the site was perfect for one night. The pool was clean. The spa was fabulous. The dog area was fine our little yorkie was good with it. The front desk clerk was so friendly. I like it here and hope to come here another time. My Passport America is only good for the Summer. We camped at Cochise Terrace RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We had planned on staying a few nights but we found the staff and RVers to be so nice and friendly that we extended our stay to a week! This park is spacious, clean, and quiet. After registering we were guided to a level, asphalt, pull-through spot complete with sewer and water hookups. We were also given two free meal tickets to join in a meal put on by the long term RVers in the park at the "Crows Nest". What a nice gesture after traveling! We love this park and would return in a heart beat if ever in the area! Highly recommend this park! Our rig is 36' long. We camped at Cochise Terrace RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

What a beautiful, well managed park! We only stayed one night but were really impressed. Check-in was friendly and efficient. We were escorted to our long, level pull-through site. We were near the "Crow's Nest" (clubhouse) which gave us a decent (free) Wi-Fi signal. When we checked in, we were told that they serve a small evening meal in the Crow's Nest and we were given a coupon for 2 free dinners... chicken wraps and a free soda or coffee or bottled water. Such a nice touch! Our P.A. rate represents about a 30% discount off the regular nightly rate. Would definitely return if in the area. We camped at Cochise Terrace RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This is one of the nicest parks we have ever stayed in. The grounds are immaculate and the staff are friendly. Long pull thru sites with beautiful views. Big pool and hot tub. Clean laundry room. Wifi worked great & lots of TV channels. They even fly the Canadian flag, along with the American & State flag. Would definitely stay here again!
