We stayed her for only one night and it was certainly convenient for that purpose. The reason for the average review is that the short-term rv area is just a big, black asphalt lot. There are small islands between sites for the utilities, including a curb our sewer hose had to traverse. We'd probably stay here again for another night, but I wouldn't call this a destination park. Perhaps there are better sites if you stay several nights. We camped at Cochise Terrace RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Can't give them anything less then a 10 when they provide a free dinner if it is your first stay. Nice wide, long, all asphalt pull-thru near the office for short term stays. Water, sewer, electric and cable were all easily connected although water and sewer are near the rear of the site so extra hose for water and sewer may be needed. Sites also have a picnic table and a night light near the hook-ups. Something like 57 channels of cable. WiFi was adequate but not real fast. Nicely landscaped fenced dog park near the pool but access is a little different with steps and cactus inside the dog park which are attractive both visually and unfortunately to dogs which might not be aware of the hazard. Nice warm (it was in the 30's during our stop), spotless bathroom/shower room with screened off individual showers. Wonderful hot tub, beautiful pool but the only downside of the park was the unheated pool. Nice dog walk through the trees. Very friendly folks, both staff and other campers. Spotlessly clean everywhere and with the entire site all asphalt, no dirt gets tracked into the coach. Quiet, beautiful view overlooking Benson. Would consider a long term stay if it wasn't for the unheated pool but then the overnight cost for short term would likely need to be more then $27 with Passport America plus $3 tax. We camped at Cochise Terrace RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This park is mainly for lease and owners but they do have spots for us short timers. Our site was blacktop and very level, wide and long enough for our 41' MH and toad. The pool is fantastic as is the little dog park. The scenery is spectacular and there's a walking path that we very much enjoyed. We saw a roadrunner, a baby jackrabbit and bunnies in the park. They have a new cable tv box thing that was complicated but we got it to work. The wifi works great. Very nice people here, we would stay at this park again. A snowbird destination. Immaculate. Paved throughout. Landscaped. Not many campers at this time of year. We arrived after hours and departed without seeing anybody. Nice welcoming pack left for us at front gate. Appeared to be lots of rules. Would definitely return. We camped at Cochise Terrace RV Resort in a Motorhome.

First of all, they don't give the standard 50% PA discount. They do 25%. This is your basic Arizona RV park that is full of snowbirds and parkmodels. Everything is set up for that crowd. We stayed 6 days and that was 4 days too much. While most of the park is paved, they put us in gravel. The trash cans are all in one location, on the other side of the park. Great if you're 80, spending the winter, and zip around in your golf cart. Not so great for the "normal" RVer. The staff is friendly, but only because they're wanting you to buy a parkmodel or RV site. Other than that, they won't help you at all e.g., 10 cents to make a copy, $5 to wash your car, and nothing for the traveling RVer. Their WIFI is terrible. I needed wifi so I asked to be put in a location where I might get a better signal. They said, no problem. Well, REALLY poor (aka no) wifi. When I went in to ask about it, the staff laughed and said it's really bad, unless I try after midnight. I don't like being laughed at or lied to. It is ridiculous that places don't offer adequate wifi and are allowed to get behind the lie that there's just too many people on it. I'm here in April and most of the snowbirds are gone! Basically, they're just too cheap to put in good wifi and don't feel they need to because most of the population are snowbirds that have their own cable/internet. So, this place is adequate at best. If you're passing through Arizona, it's OK for a night or two, but that's it. We camped at Cochise Terrace RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Stayed one night on the way back to Texas. Long, wide pull through site across from the office on asphalt with concrete curbs separating the sites and within the curbs was gravel, electric pedestal, hose bibs, and sewer drop. Very easy to connect very quickly with all utilities working properly. Site included nice strong picnic table. Library/tv room nicely appointed with couches and puzzles. Good laundry-$1.50 wash/dry. Check in pleasant and staff helpful. The only negative was the cable TV service. Tried to set up and use the parks cable box provided by parks cable company "C-- Cable" but was not successful even with the parks TV guru's help. We're not tied to the tube but we do have programs we like to watch, so we went to the clubhouse and hogged the TV for three hours. Other than this hiccup we would return to this park when back in this area. Lastly when we are on asphalt we use jack and landing gear pads as a courtesy to the park. Some people don't-just sayin. We camped at Cochise Terrace RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Very clean well maintained park. We frequently stop here to visit family on our way to and from Phoenix. They welcome you with free dinner if it is your first stay and during the week. Very nice surprise. We stayed here in Jan and April. There is really no wifi. We could not connect even though we were right next to tower on either stay. Would return . Just a quick 2 night stay. We were PPA with tax it was $30. We visited Saquaro NP and Tombstone from here. Overnight sites are across from the office. I was escorted to the site and help to avoid tree branches. All utilities worked well. Beautiful views of the surrounding area. I would stay here again. Nice park, stayed in a back-in site. A little difficult to get into site as streets are not huge, but we were guided in by the host so all OK. Sites are very wide. Nearby places to eat and things to do. Great laundry room. We camped at Cochise Terrace RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We loved this place!! The family and I spent Spring Break exploring all of Az; Grand Canyon, Flagstaff, Tombstone, Bisbee and Winslow etc. Cochise RV was the best rv place we stayed at. The area has a beautiful desert sky, desert views, awesome weather, awesome staff, very clean, quiet (until we showed up LOL), stars were unbelievable at night, if you love the desert you'll love this place. Teenage kids were a tad bored, we'll take our desert toys next time and fix that. Spent our down time playing pool and hanging by the pool enjoying the weather and views. CANNOT WAIT TO GO BACK!! God bless. We camped at Cochise Terrace RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

There is a Safeway in Benson. Tombstone is 30 minutes away, Bisbee 50 minutes, Tuscon is an hour and a half (maybe more) away. Don't put your awning out if you're not going to stay at camp because a nice breeze picks up in the late afternoon.

A very quiet, nice campground out in the country, but an easy drive to Tucson. This time we were in the transient spaces (see our review from 12/15 for a writeup of the long term sites). All asphalt - access roads and sites. Long, mostly level pull thrus with adequate spacing between the sites and a single "shade" tree. Power ok, did not use the other utilities. Satellite access depends upon relationship between antenna and the shade tree. We had no access with a roof top antenna on the front of our rig. Rear mounted roof antennas would probably not have an issue and certainly portable antennas have no issues. They have expanded the campground wifi since last year with decent signal and adequate speed (of course this was out of season and the campground was nearly empty). Verizon was 3-4 bars with decent speed, TMobile was highly variable (0-4 bars) and slow speed. Can recycle on site with a full recycling center just north of town. Decent places to ride road bikes around the campground and in the subdivision behind. Also nice riding south on the highway (wide shoulders, light traffic). We will stay here again for an overnight or the winter. We camped at Cochise Terrace RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Only negative was not having a concrete pad but gravel was very clean

Good area for pets. One of the best thing is beautiful paved roads. Very clean. Had a meal for us on night of arrival and bingo in the "barn." Pretty good distant from I-10 so road noise was minimal. I would stay there again.

The park is about as nice as they come with excellent service, amenities and care. Roads are all paved, restroom, showers, spa, and pool are very nice and clean. Winter residents were very friendly and the park even gives visitors a free dinner the first night there. The only negative is that their wifi works well only in the lounge area. Even though we were directly across the street from the antenna, reception was spotty and unreliable. We camped at Cochise Terrace RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.
