Our site was paved and just long enough for our motorhome and jeep, but really felt like nothing more than a parking lot.   We had an old wooden picnic table and few trees that supplied some partial shade.   The dog park was filled with prickly cactus which I'm aware is native to Arizona but had be on edge every time my dogs ran around. Although the resort is kid friendly there is nothing more than the swimming pool for them. We camped at Cochise Terrace RV Resort in a Motorhome.

As other reviewers have noted, this is a combination of ownership lots and short and long-term RV sites. For travelers, there are a few pull through sites on asphalt, the remaining are back in sites on gravel. We stayed in #307, a gravel back in across from the clubhouse and pool area. The site was just the right size for our 40' MH with 4 slides, even with our tow parked along side there was plenty of room for chairs and BBQ. The park provides a picnic table at each site. Cost to wash the rig was $5.00. The book exchange is located in the club house. We enjoyed the pool and heated spa on several nights. We camped at Cochise Terrace RV Resort in a Motorhome.

There's a Safeway, Walmart, chain hardware store, and other shops located in town. Singing Wind Bookstore, 700 Singing Wind Rd., Benson, is located in an old farmhouse, and has a great supply of books on the southwest and some fiction. Mary Ann's Mostly Books located at 150 W. 5th Street has a lot of books, but beware, it's messy!

What a pleasant RV park. Well worth the stay. Friendly staff and nice level lot. The park was clean clean clean. They offered a free dinner at check in, which I thought was great. It is also conveniently located just off I-10 about 1 mile. We camped at Cochise Terrace RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Park is a combination of park models, double wides and RVs each in their own areas. Stop overs get to park in pull thru spots on asphalt, basically a parking lot, while longer term of a week or more go to gravel back in sites. Streets are paved and sites are wide and level and they do guide you to your site and assist in parking. Utilities are conveniently located mid site. The campground is located on a hill so if the wind is blowing you will definitely know it! That's the good stuff. My issues are with a couple of the rules. We are birders and there are interesting species in the area that we would have liked to see up close but bird feeders are not allowed, claiming unwanted critters are attracted. When informed that we had violated this rule we immediately said, more than once, that we would take ours down but the employee continued to lecture on the subject. The other rule of concern, for which we were lectured, is that your sewer hose must be elevated and secured. I have never encountered this "must be elevated" rule in 40 years of camping. If all connections are secure, what is the issue? Trying to use a conventional snake like elevator is difficult the way they have the sewer conection height situated. Apparently not all rules are enforced however as we had to suffer through one smoky night due to nearby campfire. We will find a different campground if we return to this area. We camped at Cochise Terrace RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We stayed twice - the first time going west and then returning. Both times the staff were great. They made sure we knew which spot we were going to, drove out to show us and made suggestions on how to park in the spot to avoid brushing up against trees when slides came out. They offered us free dinner since it was our first stay and provided a packet of everything you need to 7know info. It's also a very good place to use as base for day trips. We'll very likely stay here again. We camped at Cochise Terrace RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We stayed her for only one night and it was certainly convenient for that purpose. The reason for the average review is that the short-term rv area is just a big, black asphalt lot. There are small islands between sites for the utilities, including a curb our sewer hose had to traverse. We'd probably stay here again for another night, but I wouldn't call this a destination park. Perhaps there are better sites if you stay several nights. We camped at Cochise Terrace RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Can't give them anything less then a 10 when they provide a free dinner if it is your first stay. Nice wide, long, all asphalt pull-thru near the office for short term stays. Water, sewer, electric and cable were all easily connected although water and sewer are near the rear of the site so extra hose for water and sewer may be needed. Sites also have a picnic table and a night light near the hook-ups. Something like 57 channels of cable. WiFi was adequate but not real fast. Nicely landscaped fenced dog park near the pool but access is a little different with steps and cactus inside the dog park which are attractive both visually and unfortunately to dogs which might not be aware of the hazard. Nice warm (it was in the 30's during our stop), spotless bathroom/shower room with screened off individual showers. Wonderful hot tub, beautiful pool but the only downside of the park was the unheated pool. Nice dog walk through the trees. Very friendly folks, both staff and other campers. Spotlessly clean everywhere and with the entire site all asphalt, no dirt gets tracked into the coach. Quiet, beautiful view overlooking Benson. Would consider a long term stay if it wasn't for the unheated pool but then the overnight cost for short term would likely need to be more then $27 with Passport America plus $3 tax. We camped at Cochise Terrace RV Resort in a Motorhome.

A snowbird destination. Immaculate. Paved throughout. Landscaped. Not many campers at this time of year. We arrived after hours and departed without seeing anybody. Nice welcoming pack left for us at front gate. Appeared to be lots of rules. Would definitely return. We camped at Cochise Terrace RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This park is mainly for lease and owners but they do have spots for us short timers. Our site was blacktop and very level, wide and long enough for our 41' MH and toad. The pool is fantastic as is the little dog park. The scenery is spectacular and there's a walking path that we very much enjoyed. We saw a roadrunner, a baby jackrabbit and bunnies in the park. They have a new cable tv box thing that was complicated but we got it to work. The wifi works great. Very nice people here, we would stay at this park again. A very quiet, nice campground out in the country, but an easy drive to Tucson. This time we were in the transient spaces (see our review from 12/15 for a writeup of the long term sites). All asphalt - access roads and sites. Long, mostly level pull thrus with adequate spacing between the sites and a single "shade" tree. Power ok, did not use the other utilities. Satellite access depends upon relationship between antenna and the shade tree. We had no access with a roof top antenna on the front of our rig. Rear mounted roof antennas would probably not have an issue and certainly portable antennas have no issues. They have expanded the campground wifi since last year with decent signal and adequate speed (of course this was out of season and the campground was nearly empty). Verizon was 3-4 bars with decent speed, TMobile was highly variable (0-4 bars) and slow speed. Can recycle on site with a full recycling center just north of town. Decent places to ride road bikes around the campground and in the subdivision behind. Also nice riding south on the highway (wide shoulders, light traffic). We will stay here again for an overnight or the winter. We camped at Cochise Terrace RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We loved this place!! The family and I spent Spring Break exploring all of Az; Grand Canyon, Flagstaff, Tombstone, Bisbee and Winslow etc. Cochise RV was the best rv place we stayed at. The area has a beautiful desert sky, desert views, awesome weather, awesome staff, very clean, quiet (until we showed up LOL), stars were unbelievable at night, if you love the desert you'll love this place. Teenage kids were a tad bored, we'll take our desert toys next time and fix that. Spent our down time playing pool and hanging by the pool enjoying the weather and views. CANNOT WAIT TO GO BACK!! God bless. We camped at Cochise Terrace RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

There is a Safeway in Benson. Tombstone is 30 minutes away, Bisbee 50 minutes, Tuscon is an hour and a half (maybe more) away. Don't put your awning out if you're not going to stay at camp because a nice breeze picks up in the late afternoon.

Just a quick 2 night stay. We were PPA with tax it was $30. We visited Saquaro NP and Tombstone from here. Overnight sites are across from the office. I was escorted to the site and help to avoid tree branches. All utilities worked well. Beautiful views of the surrounding area. I would stay here again.
