Very over rated, both by Good Sam & Passport America. We normally stay at Cochise Terrace that have about the same ratings, but this park doesn't come close to having the same quality. I only stayed there because they had pull-throughs. I've parked in the desert and had a more level space. Too many overhanging Mesquite that can scratch a big RV. Space was too small to be called a pull thru. Will not stay there again. We camped at Pato Blanco Lakes RV Resort in a Motorhome.

All staff were extremely accommodating and friendly! Many planned activities and hikes for those wishing to join. Pot luck once a week with a house band performing after. Saturday night dance at least once a month with house band and some talented park members occasionally singing along! Propane in park with pick up and delivery service. Ducks and birds! We camped at Pato Blanco Lakes RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Centrally located between Tucson, Sierra Vista, Wilcox and close to Tombstone. Close to many attractions along with hikes, biking and birding.

The only drawback in the area are the trains, but we have found it is almost impossible to avoid highways and trains if you want shopping and attractions close at hand.

The other reviews must have been done by friends. The campground is right under I-10 with lots noise there. Then the double train track is two blocks away and trains are blowing their horns all night coming through every thirty minutes to one hour. The wifi does not work and talked to two other campers who reported that it did not work for them either. Was told the wifi was free but it is advertised and certainly is included in the price. Would never stay there again. We camped at Pato Blanco Lakes RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We were in a long pull through site on pea gravel. Very friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere. They have a large hill behind the park and a couple of washes that go across for water runoff. We were there right after a couple of days of steady rain. The only reason I did not give a 10 rating was because there was no dry place to walk the dog for a couple of days, had to deal with some sticky red mud. Sites were high and dry though. There is also a lot of train whistle noise. They are frequent and blow their horns all night long. We camped at Pato Blanco Lakes RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Excellent Safeway store in town, much better than the Walmart. Good restaurants, went to the Horseshoe which was good and Mi Casa which was really good and such a wonderful family operated Mexican restaurant.

This park has a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. There is a sense of community as most guests come for an extended stay, but one is made to feel part of the park immediately. There are interesting planned events throughout the week and the club room is a wonderful place for such gatherings. It is clean, spacious, and well stocked with goodies. The theatre-like popcorn machine is well used. This park is well cared for and under excellent management. We camped at Pato Blanco Lakes RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Wonderful, helpful staff. Great activities, indoor and out. Printed monthly calendar outlining various activities. Bingo each week with free snacks, beer, wine and other beverages. Free Wi-Fi at the sites. Music by the Loss Hobos, free of charge. Free pool table usage, exercise room, Jacuzzi and a very nice warm pool, plus exercise gazebo. We camped at Pato Blanco Lakes RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Close to the Kartchner Caverns, & the Colossal Caves as well as Tombstone. Make sure to take time to eat at The Horseshoe Café downtown as they serve great food and large desserts. The trains are not bothersome. On Hwy 10 take exit 297, to see where the movie The Quick and the Dead was filmed, as well as many other western movies. Continue down the road, past, I think, five cattle guards, to a parking spot. Follow the fence up the canyon to a nice scenic waterfall.

Friendiest management ever. Long gravel pull thru. Good wifi, cable, electric, water, sewer. Nice picnic table. No fenced dog park, but large scenic trail area. Nice heated spa and pool. Clean, private shower rooms. Three ponds for catch and release fishing. Location is in Benson but sheltered from most of the freeway and train whistle noise. Not a lot of light at night for walking dogs. We have stayed here multiple years and enjoyed their Christmas dinner and New Years Eve parties. Rate is with Passport America discount. We camped at Pato Blanco Lakes RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Rate is with PA discount. Paved roads and gravel sites (not level). Attractive, clean park, and felt secure. Close to freeway and all night train track, probably noisy for a light sleeper. Great dog walk area. Well maintained, functional utilities; cable TV very good and fast internet. Clean, hot spa. Heated pool looked clean. Friendly and helpful staff who showed up for a late check-in. Would stay again. We camped at Pato Blanco Lakes RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We really like this park. The spa was nice, especially at night for star gazing, and is located near spotless private shower rooms. Our dogs looked forward to taking the dog walk trail to the top of the hill overlooking the park and surrounding area. Great view. All the utilities including cable and Wi-Fi worked great. The artesian fed ponds really do have catch and release fish. The staff and other guests were really friendly. Although safe and secure, maybe a few more lights for walking the dogs at night would be nice. And a little tree trimming along the access roads would ease coming and going. We camped at Pato Blanco Lakes RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Noisy but nice. We stayed for 5 days as it's a great base to explore neighboring towns. Birded Chiricahua Mountains, St. David Monastery and Whitewater/Sulpher Springs. Benson is the best town to stay in (INMHO) SE AZ for birding. Lake is small, but nice to have birds around because of it. Pool was very nice, but worker was there the whole time we were there blasting concrete. Pool could have been cleaner (needed vacuuming and skimmed). We camped at Pato Blanco Lakes RV Resort in a Motorhome.

The campground sites, laundry, bathrooms and showers are exceptionally clean. Sites are level with raked gravel. Roads within park are paved and easily maneuverable In our 39 ft motor home. Cable TV is included in price and Internet is adequate except for down loading numerous pictures. Long term residents are very friendly. Pool and hot tub very clean and enclosed behind wall so use is not discouraged by cooler weather. I would return here without any hesitation. We camped at Pato Blanco Lakes RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Very homey atmosphere with lots of long term residents who are very welcoming of travelers. Friendly and helpful staff. Our pull through site was large and spacious though not very level. Great location to tour the area. Wi-Fi is free and relatively fast. I managed to stream music with no problems. Will stay here again when in the area. Park is neat, clean, and well maintained. All sites are gravel and mostly level. Managers are very friendly and helpful. Clubhouse is very nice with a kitchen area, pool table, and big screen TV. Pool, bathrooms, and laundry were all very clean. Cable TV works very well. Wi-Fi works well, but was a little slow at our site. Park has several park model homes occupied by snowbirds. Everyone was very friendly, and we were invited to join in the park activities. There is some distant train noise, but I believe most of the RV parks in Benson would have the same train noise. Some of the other parks are much closer to the train tracks. Rate is a PA rate. We stayed 4 nights and will definitely stay again. We camped at Pato Blanco Lakes RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Could hear trains coming and going most of the night, but I suspect most of the RV parks in Benson hear trains. The staff was very helpful and kind. We had a pull-through site which was really long. They are pet friendly, and their wi-fi was a bit slow, but adequate. We camped at Pato Blanco Lakes RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We camped here in a motorhome for 2 1/2 months. A very pleasant park with exceptionally friendly and helpful resident. Near the Interstate but actually quite quiet. Lots of activities available (if one wants). We enjoyed the weekly pot-lucks and Friday night games. We stayed in two different sites both of which were gravel covered and level. Easy access from I-10. We will return here next winter. We camped at Pato Blanco Lakes RV Resort in a Motorhome.
