This park is the place to stay if you are visiting "Old Bisbee" - the park is within walking distance of the historic downtown and the major tourist attractions in the city. The park is exactly that, it is for parking, no real extras but we were not there for the resort experience. We had no problem getting into our spot, plenty of maneuvering room. Was glad that I viewed the entrance on Google Earth so I was not surprised with two relatively tight turns uphill into the parking area. The owner was easy to work with and had our site well marked when we arrived. We camped at Queen Mine RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

If you are planning to receive packages at the park please note that the PO does not deliver to addresses in Old Bisbee, all mail goes to boxes in the Post Office in Old Bisbee and you need a box. The main Post Office is south/west of town, Old Bisbee is a sub-station. UPS and FEDEX deliver in Old Bisbee. Took us a while to get this figured out - got lucky and found our package at the main PO just before it was going to be returned.

I concur with the previous reviews, but I need to add information about access to and egress from the RV park. Coming from the east on AZ80 you will exit to old Bisbee for 150 yards or so then make a hard left and go through a 13'5" underpass of AZ80. Then 150 yards to Dart Road and right to the Queen Mine parking lot. Then a sharp left up a short 50 yard ONE LANE steep climb (look before you start) to the park. Coming from the west on AZ80 is more straight forward to the Dart Road turn. While at the park study the egress routes. Going east on AZ80 is a tight turn where you will probably run your right side trailer wheels off a curb. Going west on AZ80 involves crossing multiple lanes of traffic. Careful!!! As far as Bisbee goes .... I was in the San Francisco area while in the military in the late 60s. I think some of those hippies moved to Bisbee and now have grey hair. Their shops are colorful and quaint bring back memories. We camped at Queen Mine RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Walking distance to town, full hookup, great view, WiFi adequate and library is within walking distance, cost appropriate, small, need to reserve early. Bisbee is an artsy, fun, clean town... good food... pleasant surroundings. Very dog friendly in park and in town. Just walk down the hill for a very well done mine tour. I can't remember the site number so guessed - there are only 20+ in a circle, all basically the same. All back-in. We camped at Queen Mine RV Park in a Motorhome.

Not just the usual 'made in China' t-shirts and souvenirs. There are some very interesting shops here, and good places to eat.

First things first....the directions to the RV park. Coming in from the North, when you exit at the Historic Old Bisbee exit the RV Park is directly in front of you. The RV park is visible and is located above the parking lot for the Queen Mine. We pulled in to the parking lot and disconnected our car from the coach as the turn up to the RV park is a bit tight. We had called a few months ahead of time for a reservation and are glad we did as the park was consistently full during our visit. The office wasn't open when we arrived but our site # was listed on the door. We had a 50 amp full hookup site with good satellite reception and cell service. I was also pleased with the washer/dryers, 2 of each. They were reasonably priced, clean and worked well. We would stay here again and would recommend this as a place to stay while visiting the area. We camped at Queen Mine RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

We enjoyed breakfast at the Bisbee Breakfast Club which is about 2 miles away. It is located in the Lowell region which is like a time warp - definitely worth a visit just for that! We spent a day at the John Slaughter Ranch, located about 10 miles east of Douglas, so about 40 miles in total from Bisbee. It is an historic ranch that has been preserved and is open to visit. It's a beautiful setting and Mr Slaughters history is pretty interesting. It's closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Ideally situated adjacent to the Queen Mine and above open quarry which provides views of the town and copper tinged hills. What is essentially an open gravel area but is separated by small stone walls and service posts with a lamp. Easy walking distance to both the Queen Mine and the town of Bisbee. No club discounts available but with full-service, cable and decent Wifi, this is a good value. We camped at Queen Mine RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

A return visit for us and other reviewers have pointed out the nuances; short, steep, hairpin turn up from the Queen Mine parking lot; cash or check only - no other discounts (except for long term); in-town location; all back-ins; pea gravel throughout. Sewer connection almost hidden at the front of the site under a bush. Appears that the water piping was replaced/modified in the recent past and there is a depression near the back of most sites that will upset your level if you bump into it. The owners should close the office or use it for other purposes; the on-site manager was not in it throughout the four days we were there. She was pleasant enough and came out to our RV when we arrived but was "...going to run some errands..." and we agreed to take care of charges, etc. later. We did not see her again until a couple days later when she stopped by to ask why we hadn't used the envelopes outside the office door to make our payment. Also, there was no site cleaning/maintenance evident as rigs left. Can't beat the location as you can walk to everything in town but this place is just average. We would probably return since nothing else is as close. We camped at Queen Mine RV Park in a Motorhome.

There is a small grocery store up Brewery Gulch. Wonderful dining at Roca for an exquisite dinner, or Cafe' Cornucopia for a wonderful, healthy lunch or just some delicious baked goods.

The view from any of the sites is amazing. We were backed in overlooking the lights of "Old" Bisbee. A level gravel site with FHU and some afternoon shade. We had blown a tire on the trailer earlier in the day (changed by Roadside Assist) and the manager called ahead to the Firestone store to make sure they had a tire to fit and could mount it up for me that afternoon. Above and beyond! We will stay here again, in cooler weather. We camped at Queen Mine RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is all about the location - high on a hill overlooking Bisbee, about five minutes walk to everything. Sites are all back-ins around a circle once you make your way up a steep road with a tight turn. Big rigs will have issues. Once in, it's OK. Gravel, close quarters with your neighbor. Be careful and check the water before you use it. It's potable, but had a strong Sulphur smell that lingered for days until I purified my whole system. We camped at Queen Mine RV Park in a Motorhome.

There is a sharp turn and upgrade entering park but passable up to 40 foot motorhome. Weather cool in March due to 5300 foot elevation. All sites are back in. Easy walk to old downtown Bisbee from campground. We camped at Queen Mine RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a great park when visiting the Bisbee area for a couple of days mostly due to location. It is right in town and right next door to the Queen Mine which has daily tours-recommended.

The park is sort a no frills but has clean washrooms/showers and it has a dog run area. The manager was friendly and helpful. They are having WiFi issues with their provider and it was down while we were there for 2 nights. We camped at Queen Mine RV Park in a Motorhome.

All sites are back in but the park has ample room to easily get into the sites. Access to the park is via a fairly steep hill but the driveway is paved and not a problem. Basically the only game in town. On a hill above the town, and easy walking distance to downtown. There are no basic services/stores downtown- it is all tourist-oriented hotels, B&Bs, restaurants, antiques, art galleries. Interesting, but no place to buy groceries, etc unless you drive a few miles to the "newer" part of town. Sites are in a circle on gravel, fairly level, and you back into them. Some sites had a picnic table, ours did not.

Wifi was not working, had been down for a few days- staff said some people were able to connect, others (including us) were not able to log in due to "too heavy usage". Sounded like this was not uncommon. Decent overnight stop. We camped at Queen Mine RV Park in a Motorhome.

We are currently staying at this park for 2 nights and finding it to be quite satisfactory. The sites are all about the same size, not huge but OK, utilities work well but WiFi is a bit slow. We walked around town yesterday and had a good lunch at the Table. Today we are taking the Queen Mine Tour, which has been highly recommended to us. Certainly would stay here again.
