If you like that sardine can feeling, this is the park for you! Long narrow sites - all dirt - that left no room for chairs once our 43' motorhome & tow vehicle were parked. It's exactly like a large dirt parking lot with activities. Further, rules about everything made us feel like we were delinquent children! IE: park speed is 9 1/2. Seriously. And to make sure you don't speed, there's some resident with a radar gun! Grass dog area is locked at dusk - no idea what these crazy animals might do with a small patch of green space after dark! And definitely don't extend that retractable leash past 6'. We were unimpressed & most definitely won't be back or recommend this park to others! We camped at Leaf Verde RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Shopping nearby, which is handy. If you HAVE to stay here for any reason, ask for an end site.

This park feels exactly like a parking lot with the spaces covered in sand. The roads are asphalt and the sites are just flat sand. The dog run is sand. Everything is sand...or asphalt. There was one patch of grass near the front, but it was locked (literally) behind a gate.

You must take your trash to the dumpsters at the park entrance. There are no trash cans in the park and they don't collect. However, the park was very clean overall.

This particular park requires that all sewer hoses be elevated off the ground at all times. If you don't have sewer hose supports, you'll have to disconnect and put away the hose immediately after dumping. We camped at Leaf Verde RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

From the time we checked in and throughout our stay, we have been treated like royalty. Over the top pleasant and helpful check-in, Clyde escorted us to our spot and even though not necessary (because the spaces are very large) helped us pull in and helped with hook-ups. The spaces are very level with plenty of room for a car or truck. The owner has an obvious obsession with keeping everything meticulous, clean, guest friendly, pet friendly, and even has a place to wash cars/rv's, propane, and the BEST Dog Park EVER with numerous areas for the dogs to mingle (or not). Our dog went crazy over the grassy areas at the park actually refusing to go potty unless we took her over there. You really feel the attention to details here, additional details rarely seen in our many years of full-time RV'ing. A+++ to the entire staff and we highly recommend you come and check it out when you are in AZ! We camped at Leaf Verde RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Best Fry Grocery Store - newly remodeled just minutes away - fantastic store and most definitely a one stop shop for all of your needs. LOVED the huge selection of organic products, office supply, clothing, toiletries, pet products. There is a Super WalMart across the street from Fry's as well. VERY convenient shopping, gas, restaurants, etc. WOOT! WOOT! Loved our stay :-)

If you like tight quarters, no grass and almost all seasonal rigs then this is the place for you. The only thing remotely green here is the name. The word RV "Resort" does not apply. The lots are tight, small pea gravel and many are not level. Check-in parking is extremely tight. We did not use any of their facilities. Wi-fi is not free if you stay a week. The park is very clean and well kept. Be sure to know your directions as the roads have changed and your GPS will not get you here. We camped at Leaf Verde RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Spring training is close by in Goodyear and the surrounding area.

As other rvers have stated the park is clean, friendly, good utilities and pages of rules. Rules are good, however, the sites are very tight and your neighbors's entry way door is directly across from your entryway door. On website they describe sites as being 22 feet wide; our site when measured was 16 feet from sewer drop to neighbor's awning poles. There was no room for a picnic table or to comfortably enjoy our outside space! So, as stated rules are good but they should be followed by management and be prepared for close interactions with site neighbors! We camped at Leaf Verde RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Rate is based on a month's stay. Yes this is an older park and the sites are pretty tight and there are lots of rules. The staff is wonderful, park is well maintained, activities director Sue is incredible - there is something going on every day if you want to stay busy. The dog park is kept spotless with separate areas for social and not so social dogs and there are a couple large dog parks close by. The pool is clean and warm with water aerobics one day and water volleyball on the next day. We would stay here again. We camped at Leaf Verde RV Resort in a Motorhome.

A snowbird park, well manicured with friendly staff - Was, maybe still is Coast to Coast. Accessible to Phoenix and a good jump off point to Quartzsite where we go to next. Also adjacent to AZ85 to circumvent PHX heading East. We stayed a week (weekly rate by day quoted) - - would stay here again. We camped at Leaf Verde RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Close to shopping and Walmart and many restaurants. 5 miles from downtown Buckeye with some good local food.

Can't remember what our site cost. It was a great, clean, well situated park. Friendly, helpful staff, friendly atmosphere around the park. Clean sites. Lots of full timers living there, so that tells you something about the park too. Good walking and bike riding options directly from the park. We camped at Leaf Verde RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

The staff was great and very helpful. Due to a water outage we were upgraded to a premium spot. This consisted of dedicated parking, a patio and fencing to divide the sites. The site was level and all utilities functioned as designed. No cable TV but plenty of local channels available through the antenna. The sites are gravel. The reason I give this location a 5 instead of a higher rating is because of the constant complaining of the older full time residents. They complained that we made too much noise while disconnecting, during our stay and when we connected to depart at 9 AM. If this park wants to be age restricted they should make it so. If they want this park to be open to campers with families they should inform their full time older residents to expect some noise to be heard. Complaints were called in to the office about our 11 year old son walking around our campsite with a cap gun at around 8 pm. This is not a kid friendly park due to this constant complaining. We camped at Leaf Verde RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

A rural setting with access to all amenities nearby. Interior roads are excellent pavement with plenty of width for big rig navigation. The staff are ready to help make your stay better. We are happy to recommend this park to our fellow travelers. We camped at Leaf Verde RV Resort in a Motorhome.

The rate is based on a monthly charge. The pool is wonderful, you can choose what kind of site you want as they have 3 rates. The higher rate gets the best sites with lots of space between them as well as a partial privacy fence, the spots get smaller should you want a more inexpensive site. The staff is friendly but very "rules" conscious. We had neighbors who frequently had parties of over 10 people or more. We talked with management who said they would not do anything as it wasn't after the quiet hours. However, we could not sit outside without hearing the constant chatter. We were there a month and this went on for the entire time we were there. A positive is that the park is very close to shopping. There are trees, but they are small and do not offer much in shade. We would consider returning only if there wasn't another place to stay in the area. We camped at Leaf Verde RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Wonderful park and super value. Rate based upon a one month stay. Paved roads, packed sand sites, clean park. Easy in/out but sites are side by side and very narrow. With sand sites it is extremely dusty. I only have one complaint which has been voiced before. Being only inches from your neighbor, when they wash off their rv, you will get wet. The dust when wet will get your rv muddy. That being said, its a friendly park with great facilities and friendly staff. I would come again for sure. A very clean and tidy campsite, mostly snowbirds, very friendly helpful staff, very nice pool and area. Very convenient to shops so ideal for us to restock after taking our 5th wheel out of storage. It would have scored more points but the WiFi was terrible, when I inquired I was told it was because we were on the nightly free system ! The main problem was the water, it is very low pressure, just a trickle from the taps and undrinkable. We were not told this at check-in or that gallons of drinking water could be purchased at a third of the price of the supermarkets. We camped at Leaf Verde RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
