Very run down. Most sites not level at all. We had RVD14 which did not look level because it had an uphill and downhill to it with a very level top! It was also a corner site with palm trees and bushes so very nice. We camped at Davis Camp Park in a Travel Trailer.

This is an okay park. $25 for W/E sites (no sewer) but these sites are furthest away from Hwy 95. Showers and restrooms dated but clean. Good hookups but no fire rings. This could be a really nice park if they cleaned up a bit. Five dollars cheaper than Big Bend of the Colorado and at least you get a view of the river. We camped at Davis Camp Park in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

Rate for full hookup is $30 a night, or $415 a month. No weekly rate. Longer term camping is in the ABCD sites ( reservations online). Dry storage of an RV/ trailer is $100/mo, outside. Rebuilding the park office right now, temp office near the day use area South of the camp sites. Good water, electric, and sewer. At site B55 the sewer is located at the center of the space, near the power and water. Good walking trails along both sides of the river; about a mile to the casinos, several fast foods, a Sam's Club and Home Depot. 4 miles to a Safeway. Airport is less than a mile. That can cause daytime noise in the summer when the Navy has primary flight training in Bullhead. Good fishing along the river, the park extends to the tailwaters of Davis Dam. Striped bass and trout. Fishing platforms extend to the river. A buoyed swim area ( no lifeguard ) and boat launch, as well as open swimming in the day use areas make this a busy area in the summer. We camped at Davis Camp Park in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: November, 2017 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

The campground was easy to find right off the highway. This campground sits up on a hill above the Colorado River. Check-in was quick and easy. The staff was friendly and helpful. Interior roads are wide and paved. Easy to navigate. The sites were wide, long and level. Our site was gravel. There was plenty of room between sites. Full hookups all worked OK, but the sewer was located at the rear of the site, so bring a long hose. OTA TV worked well. Good cell reception, Verison had 4 bars. Only paid WIFI was available. Lots of places to walk the dog, but pets cost extra. There's some real nice day use sites, including a boat ramp, down along the river. This campground is located fairly near the casinos right across the river in Laughlin, NV. There's no extras here, just a decent place to camp. We camped at Davis Camp Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice campground, easy to get to. Dog loved the river. Old and a bit of litter around, but nice grassy areas for paws and right near Laughlin. Stay up front. The sites in the back are full timers and a bit rugged. We camped at Davis Camp Park in a Motorhome.

Stayed here for a week. Friendly staff, smallish spaces, the dry camping spaces by the river are bigger, but we weren't equipped for that. Clean, basically nice park, but I agree that the price seems a bit high for a county park. We will be coming back in the spring and intend to stay again, because we like the simplicity of the place, and enjoy being right on the river. We camped at Davis Camp Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Very friendly and helpful folks at check in, over all a decent part. I thought it was just a little over priced for a county park. $25 would be a more reasonable price. We camped at Davis Camp Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Date of Stay: February, 2015 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed at Camp Davis for a week in Feb. 2015. It could be an excellent park if it weren't for the highway noise and the airplane noise. There are Military training exercises going on all day long. They do touch and go landings and every three to four minutes a plane comes overhead, all day long. There is a stoplight 1/4 mile from the Park entrance and another stoplight at the park entrance. Being on a hill you hear the trucks, loud motorcycles, and cars accelerating up the hill and trucks jake braking down the hill all night long. The bathrooms are in need of updating and cleaning, as is the laundry. The grounds are very well maintained and the staff very friendly and helpful. The setting is beautiful, with areas on the river for sitting, wading, and swimming. They do not have WiFi but there is a private service available. No cable but the major channels came in with an antenna. If you don't mind noise this is a very nice park. The dry camp sites on the river are quieter and very beautiful spots. We camped at Davis Camp Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We really liked this park. We parked next to the Colorado River, and unlike earlier reviews we heard NO traffic noise and witnessed no annoying military exercises of any kind. We marked bad on cleanliness because there was quite a bit of dog feces at our site. This is a county run park, our site had no BBQ but did have a fire ring of sorts. We stayed on the primitive side so we could be closest to the river and had no regrets. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Davis Camp Park in a Travel Trailer.

The park area without sewer is much nicer than the area with sewer hookups. Sewer hook up area has some really junky cluttered RV sites. Would recommend camping without sewer hookup. The dry camping area looks really nice. Good views of the river.Quiet. Half full in February. Local company provides internet for $4.99 per day. $2.00 per day for pets. We camped at Davis Camp Park in a Travel Trailer.

We camped down below where we did not have any services; however, you are right on the river, which wasa bonus. Water and sewer services are in another area of the park. It is quiet here and the lots are level. Internet is through a separate company and quality was good. We camped at Davis Camp Park in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: October, 2013 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

The price has increased to 30.00 per night for less amenities. No internet unless you pay to hook-up thru a private company, no cable, a few channels with our antenna,no picnic tables. A poor dog is in a kennel barking all the time right beside us. Campground is run down but staff are friendly. All units crowded together in certain spots although the campground is basically empty. Would not stay here again. We camped at Davis Camp Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

If you like funk and dirty old RV’s, then this is the park for you. There are many permanent residents and their rigs are old and unkept. The hook-ups were good and the view and access to the river are good. Those are about the only redeeming qualities. Oh, and good machines in the laundromat. Some of the roads are paved but most are very, very old paving that is pretty much gone. The only grass is where individuals have watered. No picnic tables. I didn’t use the showers but they looked old and basic. Our gravel pad was fairly level and plenty large. No Wi-Fi and no cable. The atmosphere of the whole place is rough and dirty. I would not return. We camped at Davis Camp Park in a Fifth Wheel.
