We thought were were lucky to get in here (first come, first served) for the second October in a row. See my 10/16 review for a better description of the park. Unfortunately they have increased the rate to $35/night. While the sites are adequate (FHU, gravel. pull through), the park offers nothing else - no bathrooms, Wi-Fi, etc. $35 is way too much for just a FHU site. We camped at Cameron Trading Post RV Park in a Motorhome.

Basic FHU on gravel and not much else. Across the street is gas, propane, restaurant, etc. one mile up the road is more including a grocery store and Burger King. We camped at Cameron Trading Post RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

As others have indicated, this is a small, cheap, FHU park run by the "trading post" across the street. You find a site and then go to check in at the trading post. There are 2 pull through rows and one row of back in sites by the highway. The sites and roads are gravel and you will probably have to do some leveling. We had one of the pull through sites and did not bother with trying to get more level for just one night. There is NO internet in the park and NO antenna or cable TV. Most sites appear to be satellite friendly. There are NO bathrooms, showers, laundry or any other typical RV park facilities/amenities in the RV park area. I saw no recycling. The cost and location make this park OK. We camped at Cameron Trading Post RV Park in a Motorhome.

This would be a reasonable overnight stop for anyone under about 38 feet (and that is pushing it). Previous reviews have said they were allowed to stick out into the road, but it appears they are putting in a new row of sites, and this is no longer an option. I had to unhitch my 27" trailer. The park is on a big slope, so you will need to level side to side. Utilities are in very good condition and appear new. Very weak verizon, available sporadically. Weak wifi, only available at one place over in the resort. No o/a tv channels. You have to go across the highway to pay, but there is a tunnel underneath the road. The gift shop and restaurant are nice and the customer service good. We camped at Cameron Trading Post RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

A good overnight stop. Pick your site and go to the hotel check-in across the highway to check-in. Ask for the WiFi code at this point. Weak, but occasional accessible in the campground. The campground is on a slope so be prepared to level side-to-side on the gravel-sand full hook-up sites. Electric power was strong. Verizon signal was there, but weak. This is one of the few places to park overnight between Grand Junction and Flagstaff. I'd pick this place for an overnight if visiting Grand Canyon. We camped at Cameron Trading Post RV Park in a Motorhome.

Check into the "RV Park" first, then go back to the check-in and tell them what site you're in. We pulled into #12 only to find out the power did not work...had to go to #11. When I went to pay, the man said, "Oh yeah, #12 doesn't work...we usually tell people that before they pull in" Oh...how 'bout a sign that says "NOT WORKING"? We are 40-ft and a car trailer. These sites are not long enough. We stuck out both ends into the "aisles". Man said, "it didn't matter". Only 30 amp available. The best part is that it's close to Grand Canyon. The trash looks like it hasn't been emptied in days. With just a little TLC, this could be a nice place to stay for a few days. Odd that the lodge and gift shop are so terrific, yet this place is not up to that standard. Good for an overnight only. Get there early if your rig is long as you can only get in by cutting through other sites that are vacant. We camped at Cameron Trading Post RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

30 miles from the east entrance of the Grand Canyon, and Little Colorado River Gorge is terrific on the drive up. Gift shop is about the largest we've seen in our travels.

As others have noted you first find a vacant space and then go over to the Trading Post across the street and pay. Very basic but at least it had full hookups. Our friends' 40' motorhome with tow vehicle stuck out into the road. We would stay here again, but only for an overnight. We camped at Cameron Trading Post RV Park in a Motorhome.

Great overnight spot and food at Trading Post good. Staff there friendly and helpful. This is second time to stop there never had noise or any problems, well lit

Not as nice as some rv parks but it'll stay on our list.

Sites are gravel and nearby to one another with a sunny/open exposure. We camped at Cameron Trading Post RV Park in a Motorhome.

Friendly staff. They offered the discount without me asking. Sites are rather uneven. The waste water dump is kind of up hill on most of them. This is a good place to stop for a few days while visiting the Grand Canyon and Glenn Canyon Dam. Sites are gravel with no shade. We camped at Cameron Trading Post RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This is a convenient place to stay a night while on the road. All gravel, fairly level sites, full hookups. Probably some of the sites are occupied by long term campers. We camped at Cameron Trading Post RV Park in a Motorhome.

The camp area was crowded and rough. However the Lodge, Dining and Gift Shop at the Trading Post across the street was very nice. I would recommend the Lodge but only stay at camp area for a night while passing through the area as it is close to East entrance to the Grand Canyon. Very basic campground, but easy enough to get in/out with pull thrus. Simply drive in and pick a site, then walk across the street to the gift shop to pay. The gift shop is huge, and you absolutely must try the Navajo tacos and the Navajo stew they serve at the restaurant. Very authentic fry bread fluffy and crispy served with warm honey. Great stop for a day trip to the south rim. Could not get any internet/cell reception with our devices. They observe the same time zone as Arizona, although on Navajo land. We'll be back for the tacos even if we don't stay overnight again. We camped at Cameron Trading Post RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a very basic park in a beautiful location near the edge of the Little Colorado River gorge and across the highway from the trading post. A ramshackle residential area is just behind the park. We needed an overnight in the area and this filled the bill. We would stop again under those circumstances. We camped at Cameron Trading Post RV Park in a Motorhome.

Beautiful area. We loved the atmosphere. It was close to Canyon Crossing and South Rim. The people were friendly. I would stay here again. We camped at Cameron Trading Post RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
