Overall Rating:

A good place for an overnight to escape the wind and heat of driving. Despite the discrepancies of the RV sites, a good value because there is a good size pool, fitness room, and excellent clean restrooms. We found there are a number of serious problems, which will cause us to look elsewhere, or to restrict our stay to one night. Most of the sites have very thick course gravel rock. Most sites are not level because of the manner of how the gravel was placed. Utility pedestals are back to back, and we noticed many have not been maintained. Sewer connections are in the middle of the RV parking space. So many have been run over. Very noisy here due to sirens, heavy traffic, boom boom music from passing traffic, train in distance, and planes. Occupants are primarily workers who get up early, sunrise, and run their diesel trucks before departing for work. Lot of bright light at night from numerous streets lights. WiFi is extremely poor. We camped at Casa Grande RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Casa Grande RV Resort, manager at Casa Grande RV Resort responded to this review

Mr Barr, I checked our records and you did not stay with us May/2018, and you have not been to our resort since the year 2015,which you only stayed 1 night, and you say we gave you an escapees member discount(2018) and we do not do them anymore and have not since 2016, if you had a bad stay 3 years ago why would you just now be posting a review, and saying you stayed in 2018? i am sorry that you did not have a nice stay in 2015 and we will make a note of it, Thank You.

We stayed for a month. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Lots of activities. Sites are large. There is a little too much gravel on some sites that they are working on fixing. We camped at Casa Grande RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Park facilities were good but a loud party at the site next to us on our third night meant no sleep for us. Management apologized but admitted they knew there was a problem and were working to resolve it but could not promise that it would not happen again. We chose to leave and would not stay there again. We camped at Casa Grande RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Stayed here for several months over the winter. We found the park to be friendly and welcoming. There were activities planned everyday and most days there were meals and/or some type of food available. There were parties and "fun days" held frequently. The management and staff worked hard to accommodate the guests and were friendly and welcoming. We camped at Casa Grande RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This is a 5 star campground. Great amenities, pool, hot tub, pickle ball, laundry, library, you name it, they probably have it. The staff bent over backwards to find us a campsite. Really great stuff. And, dog friendly. Extremely dog friendly. So much so, that most of the dog rules are barely enforced. Daily we would walk our dog and see 2 to 5 or more dogs loose. Rules specifically say, don't leave your pet outside unattended. They are. Rules specifically say, must be leashed at all time. This is NOT enforced. If you want to stay in a campground that is extremely dog friendly, this is the place for you. Arrive before 4 for personalized checkin. Dog rules not enforced very well. Most back in sites are 90 degree parking, seems to be very common in Casa Grande. Loose stone has been put through out the park over a hard sand base. We had to use 4-wheel drive to get out, and should have to get in. Others did not seem to have this issue, it may have been there was excessive stone on our site. We camped at Casa Grande RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

5th stay here and likely the last. Always hassles over stay dates if they are not first of month to last of the month. IE, 15th of November to 15th of December creates a problem for them as far as charges go. Site still says best WIFI in the valley and it is still virtually non-existant (one of reasons we no longer plan on returning). Getting Cox in the park is an option for long term campers but is not cheap. New thing this year was park employees trying to tell you how to back your trailer and they had no clue. Saw this several times and several frustrated campers. Still lots to do and well kept, just too many other frustrations to want to come back. We camped at Casa Grande RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here for two nights before Thanksgiving. Easy on/off I-10. Clean, except for the dust, which can't be helped. Friendly staff. Would have rated this campground a "10", except that the spaces reserved for overnighters are very tight. It would have been impossible to use our picnic table because the next site's utilities were immediately next to our patio pad. It wasn't a problem because we were visiting family in Casa Grande and were gone most of the time. This is just a heads up for overnighters. I recommend this park. This is a nice park located on the north west side of Casa Grande easily accessed from I-10, but about 2 miles away. There is a local highway just to the west of the park that can get a bit noisy in the early morning hours with local traffic, but we have not found it objectionable. The facility has ashphalt paved roads and gravel/stone sites. This park is used extensively by seasonal campers, but there is a long line of pull through sites that appear to be dedicated primarily to over nighters. Be aware that the hookup connections are at the back of each site and, if pulling a toad, you will either have to disconnect and park the toad in the front of your MH leaving the MH at the back end of the site, or use long hoses and cables to hook up. The park does have a really large dog park, but the fencing is decorative fencing that has fairly large spacing, so if your dog is small they may find their way out of the fenced area. It's a short 30 mile drive up I-10 to shopping and great restaurants in the Chandler / Phoenix area, but with the benefit of camping in a much less hectic area. We have stayed here a couple times and will likely find our way back to this park again when our travels take up through this area. We camped at Casa Grande RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Nice park, well kept up. We had a pull thru site on the end so had to unhook the car so we could get to the back of the site to plug in. Would have unhooked the car anyway. Other pull-thrus are plenty long. Gravel sites, paved roads, very nice fenced dog area. Not much shaderom small trees. Friendly staff and other visitors. Lots of activities including a waffle breakfast weekdays free with your stay. I would stay again. We camped at Casa Grande RV Resort in a Motorhome.

It was my first time at Casa Grande RV Resort & Cottages and I was so impressed! The grounds are beautiful and there is an abundance of activities and wonderful amenities! They have an amazing billiards room with professional pool tables and daily tournaments and the billiards room is gorgeous! There's pickle ball, bocce ball, shuffle board, ping pong, darts, bean bag toss, jenga, bingo, music jams, sewing class, poker, cribbage, low impact aerobics and my personal favorite water zumba, so fun!!! Both pools are heated above 80 degrees and the jacuzzi is wonderful too. On Wednesdays they have a wonderful complimentary BBQ for registered guests, but you have to sign-up in advance and you have a choice of a brat, marinated chicken breast or hamburger! They have scheduled events such as Murder Mysteries, Holiday Dinners, Potlucks, Entertainers, Dances, Theme Parties and much more! The management and staff are top notch. They all work very hard sun-up to sundown! They make sure that each and every guest is satisfied. Folks are already scheduling for next season now. I highly recommend this resort to snowbirds, couples and families. You won't be disappointed! I read some of the reviews that I am sure are not warranted, it's too bad those reviews exist, but from what I see the great reviews out weigh the fabricated ones. Keep up the good work Casa Grande! We will be back! All those who make this resort run smoothly, your hard work and dedication does not go unnoticed. Congratulations on being one of the most friendly, most happening RV Resorts in Casa Grande, Arizona! We camped at Casa Grande RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Came back for another year despite the rocks, wifi and price increase. Large rock issue had been taken care of. WIFI still non-existent although their web page says it is the best in the valley. People are still great and a lot of the same staying year after year keeps us coming back. Quit doing the meals etc but have heard good things about them. Rarely if ever do any of the amenity type things so they don't mean as much to us as they do to others. We camped at Casa Grande RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a big park with nice asphalt driveways and gravel site pads. Each site has full hookup (no cable) with a concrete patio. I chose a pull through site since I would only be there for 3 nights, but be aware that these sites are quite narrow. The back in sites give much more room for each site. It has all of the usual amenities for an AZ resort, pool, pickleball, bocce ball, library, etc. The bathrooms were in good condition and kept clean. The free WiFi was OK. I paid $37.57 per night with Good Sam discount. We camped at Casa Grande RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We are presently in Casa Grande. The website advertises best wi-fi in the valley and recently upgraded. One reason why we chose this campground was for the wi-fi claim. Not true. Very poor, slow even with very few motorhomes and RVs in the lot. Disconnects frequently. Does not work well with iPhones, iPads. So if you are planning on dependable wi-fi, make other arrangements. We stayed here a week while looking around the area for future winter stays. We came in October on the "off season" so the park was almost empty at that time, but the facilities such as exercise room, dining area, games & billiards rooms, library, laundry and 2 swimming pools were impressive! Would enjoy staying here when things are in full swing! We camped at Casa Grande RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
