Rate is for rally stay. Gated over 55 community with good mix of park models and RV sites. Roads are paved, generous sites are gravel with concrete patios -- no picnic tables or fire rings. Many nice amenities and lots of green areas for the dogs. Verizon MiFi was a little slow during periods, but overall a good stay and we would return. Very nice, very large park with lots of activities. Mix of park models, RV lots and stick built homes. On site Golf Course. We camped at Palm Creek Golf & RV Resort (55+ park) in a Motorhome.
Casa Grande Natl Monument is nearby. Phoenix is 45 minutes away.
Date of Stay: March, 2015 - $37.00
This is our 3rd year staying at this great park. If you enjoy lots of activities Palm Creek has it all with many volunteers running some wonderful programs. Each year more and more park models are being added cutting into the number of spots for RV's. The things they need to be improve are poor Wi-Fi, limited cable and all the little added fees, i.e., charging for garbage pick up. We camped at Palm Creek Golf & RV Resort (55+ park) in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

If you are an active senior, love being around people and like many activity choices, then Palm Creek is the place to stay! the nine-hole, par 3 golf course is in pristine condition and we took advantage of the 4:30 twilight rate of $8.00, a bargain! The sewing studio is huge and you can even rent a machine for $2 if you didn't bring yours. Also wonderful are the pottery, stained glass and lapidary studios. The old car show we attended one Sat on the grounds was top notch, entertainment was the Southwest Surfers, a Beach Boy tribute band. They were really entertaining. This is a huge park with many park models. Friendly people and we plan to come back another winter for a much longer visit! We camped at Palm Creek Golf & RV Resort (55+ park) in a Fifth Wheel.
This low rate is a one month first time visitor rate of $499. Electric was additional, came to $95 but didn't run a/c much.
Casa Grande is a small town but has a very nice mall with everything you need.

First off be sure to ask if there are any discounts available. If you simply check in they are tight lipped about weekly or monthly discounts. We heard about them After we paid and checked in from other campers and confronted the office and they were more than accommodating but they should be upfront. We like a mix of boondocking, state parks, and resort type parks and this one certainly takes care of our resort park itch. In fact, it's one of the few over the last 3 years of our traveling that has us looking forward to a return visit. The list of things to do is far to long to list but if you want activities this is the place. Very active park. The only other downside for us is that RV's could very well be parked across from park models which takes away from the view and the RV lifestyle feel that we like so keep that in mind, you may want to park and take a drive around. People are friendly and the place is kept very clean. We liked it enough to make a 1 month reservation for November. We normally stay in one spot for a week and move on but this place caught our attention, but keep in mind it is a huge park. We camped at Palm Creek Golf & RV Resort (55+ park) in a Motorhome.Undo

Another huge park for snowbirds, but more upscale than many. Good facilities, but the pool area restaurant was limited and there was (surprisingly), no convenience store despite an obvious need. Many activities and many, many rules. Beautiful grounds although the sites themselves were average. No WiFI, surprisingly. Staff were friendly, but somewhat officious. Water quality was terrible. Have a good filter and bring some. You can buy water from a dispenser at $.25 a gallon. Most laundry machines require a card you buy and then add funds to. In general, maybe too organized. This park is definitely a "Resort" with first class amenities and beautiful grounds. The sites are large at 40' wide and deep enough for even 45' coaches. The resort has every sport available and the cost is minimal should you chose to join a club to play regularly. We found both staff and guests to be very friendly. Our only complaint is that the Ballroom where the dances and live entertainment are held is too small for the size of this resort so getting tickets to attend these events is difficult if not impossible. 3 Free Computers are available in the Library and Wi-Fi is available there as well as at the Main Activities Building and Laundry Room. Dish Network through the Cable is available at every RV site at a very reasonable rate. We had our own Dish Network cable modem which saved us the cost of renting this making it very inexpensive for us! We loved the Resort but don't care for Casa Grande so would probably not stay here again. If all you want to do is stay in the Resort then this is definitely the place to stay! We camped at Palm Creek Golf & RV Resort (55+ park) in a Motorhome.
Try and get a site close to the Main Activities building especially if you don't have a bike as this park is huge.
Date of Stay: December, 2014 - $20.00
This is a beautifully landscaped, well maintained and HUGE park (2100+ expanding) The sites are quite wide, with a concrete pad and gravel, no table, no plantings to seperate the sites. Kudos to the maintenance & cleaning staff...they work long hours, always cheerful and keep the place spotless. Free wifi is available at the library/computer room. Three small laundry rooms-the one near the gym & pool, where most want to wait it out, has only 8 washers available to the public, 5 others are marked 'cleaning staff only'. Far too few machines for a park this size and this was December, the RV sites are 50% empty!! Only 3 machines take coins, you must buy cards for the others and they charge an extra $3 for the card. Lots to do but there are charges for all activities except the pool exercises. ie.-$6 per line dance or Zumba class. Nice pool room, no shuffle board tables.
Very expensive...we stayed on a 'first timers' rate but to stay in January we would have paid the regular monthly rate-$31 per day, plus power & a trash charge of $30 per month. We had wanted to experience camping in a mega park, but found it's just too big for us. We camped at Palm Creek Golf & RV Resort (55+ park) in a Motorhome.
Lots of shopping...big modern mall just across the freeway. Many local sights, tours etc. only 45 min. From both the Tucson and Chandler Costco's. Nice easy par 3 golf course on site.

The rate shown reflects the daily portion of a 4 1/2 month stay. This place is Paradise, and is by far the nicest park we have stayed in during our 20+ years as RVers. The grounds are immaculately kept, the sites are large, there are activities to suit every interest, and everyone we met was very friendly. We took pickleball lessions soon after our arrival, and instantly became addicted to the game. Palm Creek has 24 world-class pickleball courts, so we are spoiled. Casa Grande is a great town, not too big, not too small, with stores and restaurants to cater to your basic needs. Specialty shopping and dining is within an hour's drive near Phoenix. We will be returning in the Fall for 6 months this time. Highly recommend! We camped at Palm Creek Golf & RV Resort (55+ park) in a Motorhome.Undo

Beautiful, meticulously maintained 55+ resort with too many activities to list. Staff are friendly, sites are huge, and it is a secure park with manned gate access. We found the majority of the folks here to be very active, with most folks in their 60's and early 70's. Also, there are 2,000+ sites here, so it is a mega park. The only negatives I would list are: it is on the expensive side especially during peak Winter season, the WiFi is terrible (even our Verizon MyFi Jetpack was slower than all get-out), and the "hot spot" areas listed in the park are slow as well. Lastly, there is a strong odor that has intermittently permeated the air here that blows in from cow farms in the adjacent town. It is either very stinky, or normal. Stayed 4 mos @ $27/nite net (4 month peak rate) in this outstanding park. 40'x50' sites are pea gravel w/concrete patio slabs and hard surface roads throughout the park. This park is world class with over 2000 sites split between park models and RV sites. Still plenty of RV sites although park models/patio homes continue to be built. Every hobby interest has a group. Outstanding wood shop with very knowledgeable staff. Reservations to specific sites available. Always check special pricing promos for 1st timers! We will be returning for 4 mos in the fall of the year. Utilities are extra on monthly stay! Averaged $70/mo. We camped at Palm Creek Golf & RV Resort (55+ park) in a Motorhome.Undo

One complaint: There is no park-wide wifi. Bring your own, hook up with Dish through the park and with a monthly fee and purchase of their modem, or sit at the lobby for free wifi. A connection cable is required at the laundry facilities and computer room. Praise: This is our sixth or seventh season here, and we love it! It's like coming home to our family every year. The amenities are outstanding, staff is wonderful, activities galore or chill if that's your thing. It is mine! The nightly rate I quoted is for our three-month stay this year. It's less for longer periods of time. Normally, we stay for five months. We have not found a nicer park anywhere in our travels! Date of Stay: March, 2013 - $54.00
This is a 55+ community that appeals to snowbirds from the Canada and US. Most people were here for long term stays with only a few stopping by for an overnight. We stayed in a premium site, which gave us a concrete parking pad and a patio pad, with additional, ample space for our car and bicycles. Other sites have just a concrete parking pad or a few simply had gravel. The sites do not have picnic tables. Access from the Interstate is easy and paved roads through the campground are wide All of the grounds are flat and graveled. They are clean and there are plantings at the corners and on a few improved lots. We had a good cell signal but there is no WiFi except at a few hot spots near the office or laundry facilities. Cable was available through Dish at an extra fee, as was DSL Internet. The park has many, many activities and several nice dog parks. One side of the park allows pets. There are many park models and village homes and in some areas campers are parked between the permanent structures. All of the homes and campers are kept up and a homeowner's association insures that all is neat. We loved the activities and met many wonderful people. We hope to go back for a month next winter. Although this is an excellent park, I am marking it down because of the lack of WiFi throughout the park and because there are no tables at the sites. At the very least the management could have a few tables they 'deliver' to sites for folks who would like that amenity. We camped at Palm Creek Golf & RV Resort (55+ park) in a Motorhome.Undo

I gave this park a 10, because I cannot give it a 15! This is by far, the nicest place that we have ever stayed. The staff and volunteers were all very nice. We were with a rally, but could have easily stayed longer. The amenities were pristine. They have everything that you could imagine at this park. We will be staying there again and may possibly purchase one of the sites. We camped at Palm Creek Golf & RV Resort (55+ park) in a Motorhome.Undo
Date of Stay: February, 2013 - $23.00
Rate based upon $189/mo coupon. Upgraded to premium site for $50 but bill was $371 after a bunch of ridiculous service charges and fees. $30 for sewer and trash, $11 for electricity meter plus power charges, etc. Only stayed 16 days so it worked out to $23/day but if I stayed a month it would have been $12. A good rate but if I paid full price and had my bill double with service fees I'd be upset. Last stayed at the park in 2008. It was a beautiful 5 star park then and nothing has changed. It is well maintained and sparkling clean. Lots of amenities. We camped at Palm Creek Golf & RV Resort (55+ park) in a Fifth Wheel.Undo
