This is the top notch golf resort to stay at. It is in between Tucson and Phoenix. Short drive to both. They have Golf homes and RVs. We felt right at home as our neighbors came to visit while setting up and during our 8 day stay. The laundry facilities are awesome. The grounds were well manicured. Our pets enjoyed the dog parks located throughout. Only problem we had was the WiFi was located in the office and the laundry. You would need to purchase your own if you plan to work while there. Enjoyed it being "over 55". It was nice not having to deal with kids. Look forward to going back. We camped at Palm Creek Golf & RV Resort (55+ park) in a Fifth Wheel.

For 1 or 2 night they put you in overflow parking, like camping in a parking lot at shopping center. Not happy but we stayed because everything else was outstanding. Outstanding customer service. Outstanding facilities. Outstanding security. Outstanding amenities and activities. Super clean, quiet. They did not miss a trick at this park. I consider this place to be one of the best. You will not be disappointed. Great place to stay. Plan on more than two nights to take it all in. We camped at Palm Creek Golf & RV Resort (55+ park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

There are restaurants nearby, a shopping mall 2 miles away, Starbucks just down road, gas (diesel) available everywhere and this park is adjacent to a medical center should one be in need.

This is a very nice resort and you pay for that too. But it would be worth staying here but for the fact its over crowded. Plus the corporation is putting in 300 more spaces. Thats 600 more people who will want to use everything thats here. If you don't mind not being able to do "Silversmithing, wood Shop, Lapidary, etc.... because its booked out or your standing elbow to elbow with fellow snowbirds. Then book your site. Even the Coffee and Donuts are limited number of tickets here. So its only going to get even more crowded when all the new sites are done. We camped at Palm Creek Golf & RV Resort (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

We only overnighted here. This is a huge country club community of primarily snowbird homes. The office was closed apparently for the season and the place was practically deserted, but we had booked online and were greeted by a suspicious-sounding gate attendant when we arrived. It took a while for her to figure out what to do with us. Overnight stays are pull through spaces in an asphalt parking area, with utility islands interspersed. No grass, or picnic table or firepit. Utilities were fine except cable kept cutting out on some channels (so a provider problem?). Bottom line, this place isn't optimum for simple overnight stays. We camped at Palm Creek Golf & RV Resort (55+ park) in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a huge and immaculate resort. The billiards room had more tables than I could count. Library has floor to ceiling books in 600 sq ft. Olympic+ sized pool. Hot tub fits 20, but was deserted when I used it at 9pm.

Thank you for leaving us a review. We are sorry that your overnight stay at Palm Creek was not enjoyable. Our resort comes alive during our peak seasons in Winter and Spring with our seasonal guests. I will also pass along your comment to our management team regarding the gate attendant. We always want our guests to feel welcome when visiting our resort.

Escort to site, help with getting in site and positioning. Very friendly people, lots of activities. The park looks like a resort in the tropics. Lots of places to ride bikes. 9 Doggie parks with grass. We camped at Palm Creek Golf & RV Resort (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This is a very large park for seasonals. We only stayed two weeks so our views will be different from those who stay throughout the winter. This is not a great place to stay for a short period. RV parking spaces are intermingled with permanent houses making for less than a real RV experience. All sites are back in which isn't too bad but it was tight and hard to get past the house across. Sites are all gravel and while the golf course grounds are very nice the rest of the park feels very desert like. No wifi or cable. This place is huge and there are many many activities going on all the time which are hard for short timers to participate in all all were tight cliques. Nice clubhouse and activities area and the main pool was great. One nice thing is the place is separated into those with and those without pets. A nice change up. Not our kind of place so we won't be back but probably great for snowbirds. We camped at Palm Creek Golf & RV Resort (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

This is an outstanding RV park. A snowbird park on a golf course, all the activities you can stand, a true resort. We were here for an Allegro Club rally, one of the multitudes of rallies hosted here every year. We camped at Palm Creek Golf & RV Resort (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

Lucked out with a very spacious "premium" site. Gravel with concrete patio. Sewer connection was conveniently in the middle, water and electric far back corner. Huge park, long distances between facilities and sites. No wifi in the park, AT&T cellular phone and data was weak but useable. "High speed internet" said to be available in library, but it was anything but high speed- almost glacial. Seems focused on long term residents, of whom there are many. No picnic table. Trash picked up 2x/week from site, did not see trash bins anywhere. We camped at Palm Creek Golf & RV Resort (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

I agree with others about the easy check in, the cleanliness etc. However the internet is the downfall. I thought that I was back in the 990's having to go to the public buildings to get internet. The other option is once you check in call Dish and have them bring you a router for about $40.00 and wait a week for them to show up and then pay about $40.00 a month for the service. Not very practical for anyone unless you are long term. Verizon hot spot was not good either as at best we only had two bars so it was quite slow. We do not stream but sometimes it seemed like we had dialup again. In a resort this nice I would have thought it would have a picnic table also. While this was a nice resort we would not stay again as we do need good internet. We camped at Palm Creek Golf & RV Resort (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

This is our second stay at Palm Creek. Check-in is cordial and welcoming and you are issued a photo badge. The park is set up for long-term stays but short-terms stays are welcomed. The park setting is beautiful when you first arrive because the entry road winds thru the golf course and tall palm trees. The park includes a restaurant and a full range of activities. It is a park by which all others are judged. We camped at Palm Creek Golf & RV Resort (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

The town of Casa Grande has some really good restaurants and stores downtown as well as the typical stores you see in any urban area in the US.

This is a very large 55+ resort with Park Model and 50'x60' RV spots. Our check in process on 2/1 at 1pm was easy. We pulled into the staging area and found a greeter at our door immediately. Since we knew our assigned site number, a range sped over in a golf cart and led us to our space. We assisted us in parking, provided us some guidelines and encouraged us to get set up before checking in. We chose this park for the month of Feb for a few reasons: 1. friends stay here, 2. they have a first rate pickleball facility and 3. we were able to get a 50% discount as first time visitors. Otherwise the monthly fee at this time of year is over $1200. The park attracts a lot of Canadians and folks looking to stay 3 or more months. But the facility is immaculate and the executive golf course is in excellent condition. We camped at Palm Creek Golf & RV Resort (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

We stayed here for 9 days but have stayed the winter several times and also owned a Village Home in the park. This review is for a short term visitor rather than a seasonal visitor. The resort is geared for the long term visitor rather than for someone visiting for a short time. The negatives are that there is no Wi-Fi and no picnic tables. The internet service is by subscription and you need to contact Dish and also own a modem. There are activities and entertainment, etc. in the winter months but unless you purchase your tickets well in advance they are sold out before you arrive. We did have Thanksgiving dinner there but only by reading the newsletter and seeing that the cut off date was the day before we were to arrive and then calling the resort with a credit card were we able to get tickets. The water is so bad tasting we needed to purchase water to drink. The resort is very nice and we will continue to return if in the area. Rate is for rally stay. Gated over 55 community with good mix of park models and RV sites. Roads are paved, generous sites are gravel with concrete patios -- no picnic tables or fire rings. Many nice amenities and lots of green areas for the dogs. Verizon MiFi was a little slow during periods, but overall a good stay and we would return. First off be sure to ask if there are any discounts available. If you simply check in they are tight lipped about weekly or monthly discounts. We heard about them After we paid and checked in from other campers and confronted the office and they were more than accommodating but they should be upfront. We like a mix of boondocking, state parks, and resort type parks and this one certainly takes care of our resort park itch. In fact, it's one of the few over the last 3 years of our traveling that has us looking forward to a return visit. The list of things to do is far to long to list but if you want activities this is the place. Very active park. The only other downside for us is that RV's could very well be parked across from park models which takes away from the view and the RV lifestyle feel that we like so keep that in mind, you may want to park and take a drive around. People are friendly and the place is kept very clean. We liked it enough to make a 1 month reservation for November. We normally stay in one spot for a week and move on but this place caught our attention, but keep in mind it is a huge park. We camped at Palm Creek Golf & RV Resort (55+ park) in a Motorhome.
