Rate reflects weekly rate. Nice park outside of the city, quiet, peaceful. Electric was steady, water pressure very good, use regulator. Escort to site. All staff and other residents we encountered were very nice. Clubhouse has nice DVD and book selection. Activities were winding down for the season when we were there. Park is very clean, sites are a little small but not too tight. No trains, Verizon was strong. Washers/dryers $1.00 each, clean and work well. They have an out of park dog walk, but leashes are required. There is a 40ft vehicle limit here and it is strictly enforced. We would stay here again. We camped at RoVer's Roost - Escapees Park - 55+park (members only) in a Travel Trailer.

Lots in town, plenty of restaurants. Visit the museum, local history, very interesting. Visit Casa Grande ruins from here, very nice park. Norris RV is friendly and helpful if you need anything while there and they are more than willing to order something for you.

This is an Escapees park with most sites being leased. We spent 1 night boondocking, and got our site the next day. Everyone is super friendly and very welcoming. The site are all back in, but plenty roomy. You won't go wrong staying here! We camped at RoVer's Roost - Escapees Park - 55+park (members only) in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

We, as new Escapee members wanted to try out an Escapee Co-op park, and since this was on our way to our next reserved campground, we came for a night. We boondocked for the night and also got "some" propane. Their supply was low and motorhomes were being limited to just a few gallons. Because we are a big rig pulling a trailer and have our Jeep with us, there were really no sites that we could fit without unhooking the trailer and jockeying things around. For that reason, we would only use this park to boondock in the future. Tight right turn to get into the park. The limited people we met all seemed nice. The pet walk area outside the park walls is not good for after dark. It is not lit. There was some cattle smell after dark from a cattle lot down the road. Not horrible, but noticeable. We camped at RoVer's Roost - Escapees Park - 55+park (members only) in a Motorhome.

Nice Escapees park. Very friendly staff. If you arrive after 5pm you have to boondocking but didn't have a problem getting a site before 5. We camped at RoVer's Roost - Escapees Park - 55+park (members only) in a Motorhome.

You are quite away from Casa Grande. But that can be good as you are out of town. They have a nice clubhouse. Also nice and inexpensive laundry.

Decent place for an overnight if you are coming through on I-8 - otherwise, it's a little out of the way. For visiting Casa Grande, it's one of the farthest parks out of town - about 8 miles. The bad - long drive into town. The good - it's super quiet at night. There is a nice little golf course about 3 miles away. It really is in kind of a desolate area, though, and not particularly pretty. The customer service was very friendly, as were all the local residents. The weekly rate was not a good deal, since you have to pay for electric. I tried to conserve all week, and ended up paying more for the weekly rate plus electric than I would have just paying the daily rate, which included electric. With that being said, it was a bargain anyway. The park is clean and well maintained. There is wifi for purchase, and although it is expensive, it is good quality broadband. We camped at RoVer's Roost - Escapees Park - 55+park (members only) in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This RV Park is good for an overnight and perhaps a second night. It is located out in the middle of some very flat mesquite and farmlands. During my stay the place was nearly full. The entrance and clubhouse area has some attractive cactus landscaping. The use of plants stops there. The majority of sites are barren. Some have concrete parking, but most are gravel. Sites may or not have some sort of shed or casita. The park is far enough away from Casa Grande to offer the potential for star gazing. Yet, the place is soaking in bright lights at night. The clubhouse has the only restroom, which was laughable. I thought I was back at a California State Park. They charge quarters for a shower here. There is no privacy offered in the restroom. Two tiny toilets are fitted into a cramped space behind a wooded blind saloon style partition. Most adults are not going to fit on the toilets. The clubhouse itself was a disappointment and not what I am accustom too at Escapee parks. Bottom-line! This is the worst Escapee SKP park in the USA. I may return, but only for a night, again. Park was clean, well maintained, and very, very friendly. Stayed there during their Hillbilly Days. Very involved park. Fun three days with Outhouse races, games, fun evenings and wonderful food. It is out in the country, with a Feed Lot smell occasionally , but Casa Grande is a short distance with lots of shopping. Quiet. Just wish they had a gated Dog Run. But, you were out in the country so there was lots of spaces to walk. Older park so spaces are smaller. But still nice. Escapee parks are generally filled with friendly people and this park was no exception. Facilities were sufficient but only boon dockers are given a code to the public restroom. Sufficient number of activities planned. Site was adequate and hookups were easy to access. The park is 8 miles out of town so this is a bit inconvenient for folks who want to be closer to Walmart, etc., but the town of Casa Grande seems to be a very nice town with a great Lutheran church, so the drive was well worth it. The ambience is desert but the sunset was superb and the stars at night were a nice touch. This ambience was neutralized, however, by the overwhelming smell of the feedlots when the wind blew the wrong direction. Very nice, friendly, spacious, and clean park. Stayed 3 nights and enjoyed our stay very much! Sites are roomy, with cement slab, and easy to park. Personnel very friendly and accommodating. Helped us get into our site without any problems. We were on an end site, and plenty of room to park our tow vehicle. Clubhouse very nice, with activities. Park is close to shopping, restaurants and groceries. Very quiet and peaceful. Enjoyed our stay, will stay there again! Easy access off hwy. Helpful staff. Clean restroom but only one shower and 2 toilets. Costs a quarter to shower. No hook-up after 5pm firmly adhered to. If you arrive after 5pm you can boon-dock for $5. Great area right next to park to excercise dogs. We camped at RoVer's Roost - Escapees Park - 55+park (members only) in a Travel Trailer.

Very friendly quiet park. Loved being out in the country. Only two miles to a great golf resort-Francisco Grande Golf Resort. Liked the daily park-wide "Happy Hour" to which everyone is invited. Enjoyed being able to have a campfire with wood or propane fire pit. We camped at RoVer's Roost - Escapees Park - 55+park (members only) in a Fifth Wheel.

Escapees rate. The lady at check in was polite, not friendly. When I started asking questions she quickly gave me the "rules" sheet, showed me our spot and a very nice man escorted us to our site. All sites have casitas which make the backing in a bit tight but doable. Animal feedlot within 3 miles- unpleasant barnyard smell both mornings during our visit. Run the A/C. Ladies shower- one shower, $.25 for 8 minutes. The shower curtain was disgusting. This didn't just happen--that kind of filth takes a while to build up. Not much going on in town. Our preference would be to find a different location outside of Casa Grande. We camped at RoVer's Roost - Escapees Park - 55+park (members only) in a Travel Trailer.
