The rate cited is based on the $180 weekly rate, which includes tax and electricity. One of the many geezer parks in Casa Grande. It is way on the north end of town, so it's a couple miles to the nearest supermarket. It is open to travelers only from October through April. It is probably 80% park models and most of the rest of the sites are taken by seasonals. That said, the staff and residents are very friendly to short-term visitors. The roads are paved and wide enough for a big rig to make the turns. Unlike most of these parks, the sites are angled from the road, so getting a big rig into a site is very easy. Sites are large enough that your awning isn't bumping your neighbor's slideout. They are deep enough to easily park your toad or tow vehicle in front of your rig. You could easily park two there, in fact. Wi-Fi was pretty slow (around 300 kbps download speed), but so was Verizon data (around 400 kbps down). Nice library. Pool. The laundry is one of those where you have to buy a card for $2 and any value left on the card when you leave is lost. Worse yet, you can add value to the card only with $5, $10, and $20 bills, so it's difficult *not* to leave wasted money on the card. Fairly poor Verizon 4G data service, but good voice service.

There is an unmanned gate at the only vehicle entrance to the park. You press the poorly labeled "Call" button to raise somebody to open the gate for you. After you check in, you get the code to open the gate. Be sure to ask for the code to the pedestrian gate for the dog walk at the back of the park as well.

We would return to this park. We camped at Val Vista RV Park (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

There is a HUGE Fry's supermarket about two miles from the park. Fry's also has just about the best prices in town for gas and diesel, although getting a big rig through that station could be a challenge.

My spouse & I stayed here in a 38ft RV in October 2014 with full hookups. They had a beautiful heated pool & indoor jacuzzi within walking distance. Also had a library that was open to guests for reading, making puzzles, or playing on computers. Everyone was extremely friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We will definitely return! We camped at Val Vista RV Park (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Skydiving not too far away and a mall within several miles.

For 55+, this is a wonderful, quiet, clean and well laid out park approximate half way between Phoenix and Tucson. The campers, residents, hosts, are friendly and it has a plethora of well planned activities, entertainment and dining. We spend our winters in a 5th wheel and have stayed here for the past 5 years for times varying form 1 month to 3. We camped at Val Vista RV Park (55+ park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Great park for snowbirds. A 55+ park. We spent 5 months and plan on going again. Very friendly park with great staff and management. Close to Tucson and Phoenix. All kinds of activities and something for everyone. Activities well planned and carried out. A must stay if you are in the area. We camped at Val Vista RV Park (55+ park) in a Fifth Wheel.
