This place is all about the value. We discussed some of the "questionable" reviews with management prior to arriving for a one month visit close to daughter #1. Frankly, this was about the only option near Chandler, so we took the chance. I would suggest you ask for a space in the "main part" of the park, which is peppered with a combination of mobile homes, and RVs. There is a small section for RVs closer to Gilbert Rd., and it was noisier there. Just about all sites we saw in the main park of what essentially is a mobile home park with RVers tossed in were back-in, and you might find yourself at the limit of your 50 amp line to reach the power pole. Power in Chandler (in fact much of AZ) goes on and off...in our case 5 times in one month. We counted on our surge protector to keep things in shape, and the power was 117/119v across both legs pretty much all the time. Our site was wide enough for 4 slides out, plus the toad either in front/or to the side. A concrete pad was large enough for the awning to cover the chairs. We brought our own Internet, and the cable was just fine. 100+ year old cactus, oleander/bougainvillea (in bloom), and palm trees abound. The pool was large, deep and clean. The hot tub next to the pool was hot and clean. In looking around, it's like time stands still here. The maintenance guy on the golf cart hands out doggie treats, the central courtyard surrounding the pool complex, and the interesting mix of "desert rat" residents, transient RVers, multi-month snowbirds, and local working residents make for an interesting and friendly mix. Anytime we caught ourselves comparing to some of the jazzier places we have stayed we stopped, because we couldn't name one that offered full 50 amp hook-ups for what is about 20-30 bucks a day. If you are looking for luxury...keep driving. However, if you want a unique, clean, value-laden historical piece of Arizona RV'ing...go ahead. We camped at Hacienda Solano in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Be sure to approach from Southbound Chandler. Swing wide with a toad, and hug to your left to check-in. Very close to the 202, and with the growth of Chandler...lots of new stores and more being built. If your vehicle needs service, every brand is just a few miles away. Bring a bird feeder. Make sure to roll up your awnings when wind is predicted. The humidity in your rig can get really low, so either bring/buy a humidifier to keep the wood (and you) moist!

We were here for 3 nights, wish it had been less. This is basically a mobile home park with spots for a few RV's as an afterthought in a very tight corner of the park right next to a very busy road with lots of buses and a 24 hr. Circle K right behind us. We have stayed in nearly 100 RV parks and campgrounds and this was one of the worst we have ever tried to pull in or hook up to. Our electricity was shared on a 30amp circuit with a gigantic lighted 2-sided billboard over our head, so that if we used more than 2 appliances at the same time in our trailer, the circuit would break. Turn the breaker off and out goes the billboard! The sewer hookup was actually underneath the RV, so you hook up and back over your sewer. Road noise was inconceivable. The office's answer for everything was "that's the way it's always been". We had a hedge of bushes between us and the bus stop and music playing 24 hours a day at the Circle K. The pool/rec room was nice. We would NEVER return here. This park would be better served to eliminate the RV spots. We camped at Hacienda Solano in a Travel Trailer.

We stay here because it is reasonably close to our son in Gilbert. It is mostly long term residents. It is a 55+ community so kids aren't here. Actually not sure what the price is because we arrived after the office was closed and it isn't open on weekends. We were here last year for 5 days and were put in an area for short term. They were too close together so this time having a bigger RV I requested a larger site. Had site #30 which was right by rest rooms and laundry and was perfect. Large patio, plenty of room to park. Will stay again. We camped at Hacienda Solano in a Motorhome.

Rate is monthly divided by 31. Asphalt roads and level gravel sites. 50 amp FHU utilities work well. We have stayed here three times now. The office and the outside staff were friendly and helpful. Across the street is a Fry's and multiple stores and restaurants. Check your map before arrival. Access is only available going south on Gilbert Road but exiting to the 202 is just a right turn out of the park. This is primarily a mobile home park with RV sites, but the residents were very friendly and the homes are well kept. Managers are long term and live on site. Dogs were welcomed. We camped at Hacienda Solano in a Motorhome.

This park was the closest to our son who lives in Gilbert which is why we chose it. This mostly a snowbird park with a lot of residents which was fine, except the area they put us was pretty crowded together. Since we weren't there much it really didn't matter to us. Very close to shops, restaurants, etc. Will stay again next time we visit our son. We camped at Hacienda Solano in a Motorhome.

Very good facilities, utilities, roads and access, but plan your entry if you're in a big rig. You can only make a right turn into the park heading south on Gilbert. Don't trust your gps to bring you in the right way. They advertise WiFi but it was down the 12 days we were here. This is a typical 55+ park in this area but this one allowed pets, so here we are and I guess I'm just not crazy about these types of 55+ residential parks. They allow transient RV's and can easily accommodate them, but there are mostly very old mobile homes and some are very dilapidated. I have to say though, that most of the residents do a very nice job with landscaping, gardens and decorations. The area is very nice, however, and we always felt very safe. We would stay here again but would make sure and ask about what they're parking us next to. The trailer next to us looked like it should've been condemned. We camped at Hacienda Solano in a Motorhome.

Easy check in with friendly staff. They gave us a nice wide site. The sewer hookup needed work but we managed. Primarily a mobile home park with spaces for RVs in separate area. Friendly residents. We camped at Hacienda Solano in a Fifth Wheel.

Easy park to locate off I-40, and near major roads and 202 loop in Chandler. Host couple is very friendly and helpful. Park is clean and has good paved roads. Pool and hot tub clean and well kept. Park has a library with a great deal of what to do in the area information. Park is primarily a MH park but RVers are made to feel welcome. We stayed 8 days and would stay here again. We camped at Hacienda Solano in a Fifth Wheel.
