This is a Colorado River Adventures member park with 800 campsites located about an hour south of Lake Havasu City on the western side of the Colorado River in a small community named Earp, CA, so I don't know what the fees would be for a guest. I do know that you can accept a three night stay for free but must listen to their sales pitch, with no purchase required. We were in campsite #500, a long, level, gravel pull thru with 30A/50A, FHU services available at the read of my coach. The pull thru site is at least 100 feet long since my 40' coach towing an 18' trailer fit with ease and had plenty of room to park my second vehicle with room to spare at the rear of my trailer. The sewer has two connection points, but the one at the rear is more appropriate since the forward connection would place it in the patio of the neighboring site!! Water pressure was excellent. Trees provide some shade. Sites are back in along the river with a boat launch close to the office building. Sites are either back in along the river, back in back to back or pull thru. There are many travel trailers set up as rental trailers and some park models also for rental. Members and guests of members can use the rental trailers as park of their membership for free. Our children have member access privileges to the rental trailers. Appeared to be many long term campers as well as many overnighters. Internet services are available but our distance from the transmitter preventing using it because the signal was too weak. We sat at the bar with excellent Internet availability. Lots to do here onsite. The London Bridge in Lake Havasu City is about an hour away to the north along AZ 95. Miniature golf, two pools and one kiddy pool, a couple of hot tubs. All next to the bar for your eating and drinking choices. We rode our pedal bikes around the campground and experienced very friendly campers. The servers in the bar are super friendly and the food is your typical grill prepped menu selections. - kihei7

This is a great RV park right on the Colorado River. It is a membership-only park but, if not a member, one can stay a couple days if going to the presentation. Only Coast to Coast members can park right on the water, but all can use the beach and river. They are associated with other memberships who can stay for a slight fee. They have large, wide sites with 30 or 50 amp FHU back-in or pull-thru on gravel. Internal road are wide and EZ to navigate. Very quiet unless there's a loud boat roaring up/down the river. There are 2 pools (plus a kiddie pool), 2 hot tubs, bar, food at bar, miniature golf, other games, and, of course, the river. No cable...even antennae is worthless as it's in a valley. Need satellite if want to watch TV. WIFI is only at the bar but cell reception is good if you bring your own hotspot. It's a wonderful place to just R&R. We've stayed there multiple times and will do so again! Very relaxing. - DrM Traveler

Bought a trailer at Camping World and received a free 4 night stay at one of several Colorado River Adventures' parks on the Colorado river. We chose this park due to it's being close to Parker and Blue Water casino, plus it was an easy drive up from Yuma. The park is just a large sand and gravel spot that has been open for several years. It has a decent bar and restaurant adjacent to pools and hot tubs. Lots of screaming kids running around and periods of very loud music. During week-days it was more tolerable. There are several donkeys, burros that wander through the park leaving "presents" all around so if you go out at night I recommend having a flashlight. Boats on the river are very noisy on weekend days. No other noise issues than kids. No TV available other than satellite, and cell service is sketchy. Many long term residents but sites were mostly kept picked up. - PDDeen
Mar 2018 - $30.00
At first glance the park seems like a dust bowl, but actually it is not. The entire facility is clean, well kept up. Maintenance always around. We are near the water. Just a short walk away to watch the boats on the Colorado. The water hook up for our hose was a little short. We talked to maintenance and they brought us a longer one to use for our stay here. They were very prompt. We had wonderful cable jTV. The internet I would give one star. It works sometimes, but mostly does not work, unless one sits right under the tower, on the patio by the laundry room and showers. Plenty of great walking places for a dog. My dog approved this park. This park is quiet. - Cheri K
Feb 2018 - $37.00
OK for overnight- was very crowded, sites are very close together. Power & cable were fine. No more shuttle to the casino, they have a trail, but its a good walk. You can boondock within 1/2 mile... - Tredguy
Jan 2017 - $37.00
It is tight and some sites will not have satellite do to, believe it or not, trees or the banks surrounding you. The front desk was helpful and pleasant but the sites are tight and at some your neighbors multiple vehicles and ATVs will make it even tighter. I just got the feeling they were not looking for big rig transients but rather long term guest who were there to use the ATV trails. I might stay again but would depend on the site. We had site 155 and it might be the biggest in the park, and it was comfortable, but your sat dish has to be forward or it will not work Our friends had another and it was very tight. - peddy dick
Apr 2018 - $27.00
Rate included tax. Right on the Colorado River. Hookups worked but did have tall weeds around them. Dump area functioned well. Good cable channels. Staff fantastic! Wifi located at visitor building but cell service att/verizon worked fine but no data. Lots of long termers but all friendly. - The Petersons
Feb 2018 - $24.00
This is a big park, river front or river view sites were filled with long-termers. There were rigs waiting in overflow lot. Camp hosts were helpful. We were in the group camp area, basically a gravel/dirt lot with elect & water. The dump was unhandy but usable. Clean bathhouse. Fine for an overnight, we would have stayed longer if we could have moved in to a better site. Pretty quiet at night, though there were folks buzzing around on OHVs other times. - La-di-da
Jun 2017 - $27.00
This is a large county park with lots of long-termers. We were here two years ago and I think the price was lower. At $27 I feel the price is just ok. Not a particularly attractive park, but the basics are fine. This was a quick overnighter for us and I didn't check out the restrooms. It was horrendously hot, but the electric ran the A/C fine, thank god!! I'm sure it is very popular with boaters since it's right on the river. Next time around, I might look around for a better value, but I'd still stay again. - Pdxjoanne
Nov 2018 - $15.00
This was our second year to stay for a month. The atmosphere was fun. The bar and restaurant was our favorite. Would have loved to stay in the first row (like everyone else of course) but you have to be pretty special to get those spaces. We stayed on the 3rd row by the showers etc. Wouldn't recommend it because the sewage smell at night is absolutely gut wrenching. We had planned to stay the whole winter but we still had to conduct business and the WiFi was so bad we had to either drive home (3 hours away) to get work done then return or we tried downtown in a parking lot but that was a hit or miss also. We heard the town has 2 towers one for the government and 1 for the whole town. It shows too because most of the time we only got 1-2 bars and that is it. - Zoey1
Mar 2018 - $55.00
Park has a great setting on the Colorado River. Restaurant was pricey but very good food. - DKingsbury3
Jun 2017 - $50.00
They had numerous waterfront sites and were all filled up with long term rentals. You would think they would have them park in the back. The restaurant was overpriced for the food. Wasn't real impressed with this place. - Ken2455
Apr 2013 - $15.00
A fine offering for Elks members. Paved lot is next to lodge building. Spaces are striped out and with slides out on both sides my coach I use every inch of the space between the lines. Electric is 30 amp only and has had some work since last year, but needs more. Some outlets were not working when we were here. Lodge is near downtown area but in residential/quiet setting so no highway noise. An excellent overnight stop or spend a couple of days and scout the town. The river is nearby with parks and daytime activity. - Bucky Beaver
Feb 2016 - $32.00
I read the other 2 negative reviews and can't understand why they gave such low scores and bad comments about the park. We stayed 1 week and were given a nice (not great) RV site that was wide and long enough for our 36ft. 5th wheel. The roads are paved, the site was gravel but level. Lots of places along the river to walk the dog, laundry and restrooms were clean. The river view sites are the best and the view is great. I am asking for one next trip. My friend has stayed here every winter for the last 5 years, so that tells me if it's good enough to stay all winter, it's good for shorter stays. - AlexB
Feb 2011 - $32.00
This is an older campground located just over the Colorado River from Parker AZ. Mostly seasonal units with a few short term sites available. Since this is an older campground the sites are cramped and only a few could accept larger rigs. The roads are narrow and only one way, they even have one-way traffic treadles to prevent you from going backwards down the one way roads. There is a cement pad and picnic table at most sites. There is also a boat ramp for access to the river. Staff was friendly and helpful. While the campground is OK, with the other options available near Parker I would most likely not stay here again. - HobbyTalk

I stayed at the Wheel-Er In a few years ago. I don't know if the same owners are still here, but it was the worst weekend of camping ever. We spent our weekend being accused, threatened and harassed by these grumpy people. We has some friends that couldn't spend the whole weekend with us, when it was time for them to leave they drove their car in to load their things. The camping space next to ours was vacant so they parked there for only a few minutes to load their things. Before we could even say goodbye, the lady came over yelling at us to get the car moved or we would be charged for the space we were parked in for only a few minutes. The next day someone let their little dog do it's business in front of the RV on the road. The lady from the campground accused my friend in the space next to me that we failed to clean up after our dog. We had a full size dog with us and we always clean up after our pets. Aside from the fact that it was obvious that this mess was left by a much smaller animal. I am sure that I would never stay at the Wheel-Er In ever again, aside from the fact that it is the most cramped campground I have ever been in. - campingregular
Feb 2017 - $50.00
Recent management changes have been responsible for many seasonal guests migrating to other parks for the 2017-18 winter season. It is a pretty park, right on the river, but there are very few 50 amp sites, the showers are not cleaned regularly, maintenance around the park is sporadic at best and generally the park lacks organization. Management is completely lacking integrity and seems to enforce different park rules for different guests on different days. Would love to go back to this park (we spent 4 winters here), but not until the feeling of "walking on egg shells" is replaced by the friendliness of previous years. - 43211234
Nov 2016 - $50.00
This was a nice little RV park, up to this year, then the park got new managers, that do not have any people or management skills. We have had, a lot of joy and fun for years. It is really to bad that the owners do not see what is happening. They are going to lose a lot of good people that have been coming to this RV park for years, over these managers. This park has dropped to a 2 Star rating, and very poorly maintained. river sites at this park have a nice view of the Colorado with a grassy area and docks to sit on. How ever the leaves from the popular trees are not raked up on any regular basis unless the campers do it themselves. These same leaves tend to accumulate around the full time sites that are not being used making the sites messy and dirty and blowing all over when the wind is up. The washrooms and showers are only cleaned three times a week and not daily, how ever there is a toilet brush for those who wish to take care of that job !! . There is also some site confusion on the part of the office. The site booked and deposit paid for is not the site you end up with, park rules seam to change at will. At times it feels like the campers are more of an inconvenience to the managers and owners and really do not want to be disturbed.. we had been enjoying the winter months here and social club with our fellow winter family however we will not go back. - RWS-2016-2017
Feb 2014 - $50.00
Have parked in this park for 10 years. Has had management problems the last few years. Sewer smell has gotten worse last few years. Overnight parking went from 25.00 to 50.00. Needs some upkeep. Dry and dusty. Will not be returning. - masonjar
Apr 2017 - $29.00
Stayed here in a 30' motorhome with tow vehicle. Beautiful campground with large sites, table, electricity, water. Close to small bay and river. Trail off to the side. Nice personnel. We would stay here again. - Jerryws98516
Mar 2017 - $25.00
Good wifi on the sites closest to the road. Huge sites with tables and bbq. Clean restrooms and showers. RV dump free if you stay.
Nice place. Not much excitement, but that's why I came here. Will be back next year. - bobowill
Jan 2014 - $25.00
Nice state park located at a bend in the Colorado River. Park Wi-Fi was intermittent, ability to use Verizon MiFi was dependent on site location, we saw a lot of people using the picnic pavilions to call / email / check online, etc. We didn't have any issues with our MiFi after we put up our booster antenna. Road down into the park is very steep with a very sharp turn, but once in the park it was very easy to maneuver through the park. Sites were a little closer together than most of the state parks we've stay in, the sites closer to the water treatment facility had to deal with a bit of an unpleasant aroma. I'd recommend avoiding sites 12-24 due to the aroma. - DRFink
Apr 2015 - $35.00
Do not go by the website or facebook the pictures are very deceiving. Great waterfront sites, but you have to rent two for enough room for your slides and doors to open, if not it's a tight squeeze for a skinny person.
The electric is very old and outdated, if you require 50 amp there is none, and there are power surges. There is cable which worked most of the time, and wifi is available at the bar which is not open but there is a deck outside the bar. Would have been great also if the bar was open and a food option. This is not a big rig friendly park.
The manager is very nice and accomodating, did not have contact with the maintenance staff.
I really would have gone there again if it wasn't for the electric, got home and found our electric cord had burned..we were very lucky. - LindaC
Jun 2010 - $29.00
Nice floating bar with a full whiskey license located on their beach on the Colorado river. Owners are former off-road racing champ. Intermittent restaurant hours, but everything on the menu is excellent. Park is very well maintained and very friendly. Zero tolerance for troublemakers with a forever 86'd policy and long memories. Nice beach, no dogs because you can't reason with dog owners and they won't clean up after their pets. So no dogs, solved that issue. Excellent swimming beach, excellent playground with unique games for the kids, shaded picnic park, RV park setting. Beautiful desert surrounds with excellent off-road toy access. - Trailer Park Casanova
