Park is well maintained and clean. Hot tub & pool were OK. Lots of amenities: e.g. pickle ball, line dancing, chapel, etc. Fenced picnic table on pavers with shade. We camped at Orchard RV Ranch (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

The view of the surrounding foothills was outstanding. The site was spacious with a brick patio and picnic table and each site separated by a pretty, white privacy fence with lattice work on top. Lots of trees for shade. There is a bathroom at the office. Otherwise, only one other bathhouse in the park with two stalls and one shower (women) and one stall, one urinal and one shower (men).

We usually search out RV parks that have pickleball courts. This park has 2 but don't be fooled. There is a boatload of full-timers in this park and they have pretty much commandeered the courts. We were told bluntly that we can't play on this day and/or we can't play at these times. The pickleball gods (even non-residents) hog the courts in the early (cooler) hours and you are not asked to play. You can hang your paddle on the queue board all day long but it doesn't mean anything between particular times. You can have the courts later, in the 100+F heat, if you wish. They hold events, "socials (tournaments)," and "ladder day," etc. and they are open only to the regulars. Fortunately for us, there were a couple of really nice guys who stayed around later to play a few games with us in the heat of midday. We camped at Orchard RV Ranch (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Two-hour-long 4th of July parade, "World's Largest Rodeo," trap and skeet shooting just down the road, one hour drive down the 17 to visit the Anthem Veterans Memorial (highly recommended by us), Whiskey Row in town for beers and food (eat at The Palace for great catfish or steamed clams), Lynx Lake Café (fantastic German food), rent a kayak at Lynx Lake, stop for a lunch and pie at the Rock Springs Café (on the 17).

In the park, go swimming or play bocci ball.

It was a pleasure to stay at the park. The office people were friendly, helpful etc. The only draw back was the Wi-fi; you had to go to a separate building to get it. This is the first park we have been to where there was no Wifi at your site. When we went up just to receive and send email, there were people that were there almost all day, watching movies on their laptop and the other playing games. To me and others in the park felt the same way, VERY INCONSIDERATE of others. The sites were nice and big. Will go back again. We camped at Orchard RV Ranch (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

Have stayed here several times. This time, we came a bit earlier than usual. Had to delay our departure two days because of paving in the park. Got here and checked in and inquired about the pool and spa. Surprise. Not open until the end of May. Had we known that in advance, would have went somewhere else. The pool and spa here are nice. A shame to waste three days. They give you a small booklet of rules upon arrival. No problem except a lot of them are not enforced, as usual. Coach close to us had barking dog inside. Trailer next to us had sewer hose on the ground(strictly forbidden). No wi-fi at site. Have to go to clubhouse to use it. Rate is too high without the use of the pool and spa. Cable TV is good at site and about 50 channels available. Signal is converted to analog so older RV's can hook up. Makes picture small on modern flat screens. We camped at Orchard RV Ranch (55+ park) in a Travel Trailer.

GPS did not get us exactly to the park but there is a large sign so was relatively easy to find. Excellent paved roads inside the park with many speed bumps which keeps speed down and makes walking much safer. Liked both enclosed dog parks. Very friendly people and helpful staff. Easy for us to get into site and big enough to park truck near our rig. Could not use satellite but had good cable. Will be back. We camped at Orchard RV Ranch (55+ park) in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a +55 community with mostly park model units. The park is neat and clean with lots of active residents. There was a 4:30 happy hour meet & greet. Many walkers, bicyclists and pool folks in the morning. Office staff was friendly and helpful. Although adjacent to the highway, there was little oad noise. Major drawback: the shows have not had a good cleaning in a long time, dirty and moldy. Shower shoes are highly recommended. Very large gravel spaces enough for a rig and a toad to park side by side. We camped at Orchard RV Ranch (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

We stayed a week and found the park very clean and everyone, staff and guests, very friendly. Our pull thru wasn't exactly a pull thru and we had to back out. Supposedly we were in the largest site they have but there was no way we could pull thru and then turn also to get out. Backing out was no big deal though. The trees blocked our satellite dish but we used the parks cable and picked up 12 channels so we were not totally without TV. We camped at Orchard RV Ranch (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

If you go into Prescott stop by Church on the Street (great ministry) at 105 W. Carleton St; right around the corner is Bill's Grill (at 333 S. Montezuma St/Downtown) WOW, excellent food and prices (try the baked Hoki fish slathered in sliced almonds and fresh parsley; with brown rice and asian slaw! Out of this world good!)

We stayed a week at this RV park. Was very comfortable with large level lots. The picnic table and privacy fence was a nice addition. The wifi was available only in the club room. The laundry facilities were large and clean. Washing was $1.50. Drying was steep at $1.50 in comparison to other rv parks.

The pool area looked inviting but was too cool to use.

The park is pet friendly. We camped at Orchard RV Ranch (55+ park) in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed at Orchard for a month. The staff and neighbors were very friendly, the area was very clean, and workers were constantly preening. The sites were level on stone, and quite wide. It was a nice quiet area. The only reason we didn't stay longer was because of the cold nights. We camped at Orchard RV Ranch (55+ park) in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a large mobile home park with attached rv park. Total spaces shown include mostly mobile homes, not rv's. Staff was efficient buy not real friendly. They acted like they were worn out with the whole thing. Spaces were somewhat tight for large rigs. All hook-ups worked ok. Fairly level. Pool was not clean and pool deck was messy. Local sights will take about 3 days and then it's down the road again. Would be good motorcycle country. Great scenery out of town. We might stay here again. We wanted to see the area for an escape from the Phoenix valley summer heat. The park's goal is to have all park models and just a few RV sites. We were informed our RV site was designated as a park model site and we may be asked to move. We only stayed a few days so we weren't impacted. The pull-through sites are good size. The salt water pool is refreshing and so nice not to smell like chlorine. Pet areas are a low priority though they have added several dog waste bag dispensers though out the park but no disposal container?? One dog run has huge pine trees with sap droppings that are a challenge to remove from dog fur, and the other is all rock and no shade. It is a long park and each dog run is at the extreme ends. There is no pet area in the middle of the 352 sites. There appears to be much discontent among dog owners and non-dog owners. Loved the Dewey, Prescott Valley, Prescott area. Close to many conveniences but IMHO not cool enough for the summer. If passing through the area would stop again but not for a longer term basis. We camped at Orchard RV Ranch (55+ park) in a Fifth Wheel.

We went to this park because Woodall gave it 5 W's on both their categories. We have a 42' motor home and we tow a car. For the first time in 2 months I had to unhook to get in the site. Our site was very tight for our rig. And getting out of the park was very difficult as well. The interior roads are more suitable for a 34' rig. This is mostly a trailer park for long term people. They do have lots of amenities and some activities for long term residents. I have rated this park low because of the bad problems getting in and out, the fact that trees blocked our satellite even though I was told they were trimmed when checking in, and the horrendous noise from cicada noise. The bugs would start up as soon as the sun hit them with a very very loud din until well after the sun went down. This was not a minor noise. This was like Led Zeppelin practicing all day near you. So we just left all day and explored. If I was a long term resident and not deaf I would move. Noise is unbearable. They need to spray the trees. We camped at Orchard RV Ranch (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

I suspect this will be our last visit to this park. $500 + elec + $30 for Wi-Fi. The only Wi-Fi available is extremely expensive and of a very poor quality. $30/month for Wi-Fi with only 2 to 3 bars is, in my opinion, expensive, not to mention unreliable. The also state in their rules that RV's must be of a certain age or newer to be in here and must be in good repair. Obviously they're willing to overlook that. Some spots look as though the people brought everything they own with them and it's piled outside. If I'd known about this before I paid we'd have moved on. However, they do have signs up (printed in very big letters) that there are no refunds for any reason. I suspect they get quite a few requests!! We camped at Orchard RV Ranch (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

This is a very nice park and was recommended by a friend of ours. The staff was very friendly. My only complaint was there was no grass between sites only gravel. The picnic tables were ancient and in need of replacement. They could improve it a lot by sprucing up the sites and having a recycle area. The only recyling we could find was for newspapers. We camped at Orchard RV Ranch (55+ park) in a Motorhome.
