This is NOT a resort. The facilities are fine but nowhere near resort quality. In addition, the sites are on fine gravel which is constantly tracked in. It is a dusty dirty environment-comparable to living in a catbox! The real downfall is customer service. Management is disorganized, lacking knowledge and very poor at communication. To start with, the male mgr accused my husband of ruining the water hook up and told us we should not be using a pressure regulator. Since when? Actually we learned that the water lines for the entire park need to be replaced. Once the park filled up, the showers were not properly maintained and became filthy. Although cable and wi-fi are advertised as amenities, they are not included. The only people who were welcoming were the pickleball players. This is a very amateur run place, with mgmt and activities director who like to feel important. I would not return, nor recommend if you are looking for a well run resort. If you are looking for rv storage with full hook up, it is fine. We camped at Silverado RV Resort (formerly Desert Valley RV Resort) in a Motorhome.

We have just finished our 4th winter season at this park. The park has all the basic necessities, including a small laundry. All sites are pea gravel with small oddly placed concrete patio. No picnic tables provided. Water, power, and sewer are at back of site so you may need extensions. You pay for WiFi and it's pretty lousy. Used my phone's data and its hotspot. New managers this year and they need to either be replaced or go through extensive training. Frequently accusing us of all manner of transgressions (which none of us present did); closing office early with no notice, allowing some to park in empty sites while telling others they had to move their vehicle immediately. The office hours are odd for an RV park - office closes before many travelers are ready to get off the road. There's an emergency number posted in door but no after hours instructions. Many times saw RVs pull in then out - probably for this reason. Many times heard "Park is full" while sites next to us and across from us were empty. We will return next year - BUT if management doesn't change we will probably look elsewhere before the winter season is over. We camped at Silverado RV Resort (formerly Desert Valley RV Resort) in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice. Restrooms/showers/laundry immaculate. Only problem, my site was a VERY long hike to laundry, etc. Staff very friendly. All spaces were back-in except for a few for overnighters. We camped at Silverado RV Resort (formerly Desert Valley RV Resort) in a Motorhome.

Excellent long term stay resort. We stayed from Oct 2016 until Apr 2017. Always some event at the park, with exercise room, swimming pool, hot tub, large club house with kitchen and always clean showers and bathrooms. The management is top notch and has the customer in mind at all times. Very friendly folks throughout the park. Nice small dog run. Overall Rating:

We stayed here from January thru March & recommended our friends to stay here on their way home. Let me say that while we were here the management was absolutely wonderful & the park was beautifully maintained. However our friends arrived a few days before we left and by the end of their stay last week their stay began a decline! It appears that the new management is NOT as pleasant as the old management. Our friend was coming in out of the restroom and heard the manager yelling at the couples for leaving the lights on in the pickle ball court while they took a short break from their game! Had it been myself or my friend we would have snapped back at the way this man in the same manner as he treated them! Think the new management needs to learn a thing or two about treating paying guests! We camped at Silverado RV Resort (formerly Desert Valley RV Resort) in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This is a large 55+ park, very clean and tidy, tarmac roads and level gravel sites with concrete patio and all a good size. There are a few park models and well maintained. The utilities are at the back of the site so extension hoses are needed. Very nice staff and easy access from I-10, some minimal road noise, also railroad noise but far enough away not to be intrusive. We have not given top marks as no wifi available at all even at the office/laundry and this is important to us. No cable TV and our biggest down point is that although there is a designated pet area it is not enforced in fact in the information sheet it states that it is ok to exercise pets and allowed them to "use" any area as long as it is cleaned up !! We camped at Silverado RV Resort (formerly Desert Valley RV Resort) in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

We stopped for the month of March while we returned home to Canada for personal business. As a result we spent less then 2 weeks actually resident in the park although our RV remained on site for nearly the full month. To begin with this park is very close to I10 off exit 203 and about 10 miles east of Casa Grande. Access is convenient although proximity comes with some road noise. The park is surrounded by a concrete wall with a locked gate and key pad access. Security was comforting. Navigation on entry and throughout the park is easy for big rigs. Sites are back-in and the local staff/manager assists your positioning on your site. Each site has a small concrete pad for chairs. RV sits on crushed rock along with your tow vehicle. Each site has a citrus tree of 5-7 ft at the rear of the site and some sites have an additional flowering shrub. Hookups are located at the rear of the site and as a result extra long sewer line hose will be required. No cable or internet is provided unfortunately but a local firm (Air Beam) provides internet based on 1 day, 7 day, 14 day, 21 day or 30 days arrangement which can be purchased on site over the internet. Rates run between $3.95 for single day to approx $1.30 per day for 30 day plan. We didn't subscribe and went to a local McDonald's for internet. All network TV channels are available over the air along with many others. Club houses are provided for a variety of resident coordinated activities, i.e. Cards, darts, billiards, bingo. A fitness Centre, Pickle ball courts, pool, hot tub, shuffleboard, horse shoes, etc are on site. Washrooms and showers were spotless. See website for more details. We found the managers and all snowbirds on site to be very, very friendly and welcoming. We would not hesitate to visit in the future if in the area. Monthly site rent was $350. Electric is metered and in addition to monthly rent at. .15 per kwt. Shopping, dining etc is avail in Casa Grande. We camped at Silverado RV Resort (formerly Desert Valley RV Resort) in a Motorhome.

We loved this park! Rate is based on the very reasonable monthly rate of $350 + electric. We had a very warm welcome and looked around. We liked the park so much we chose a spot for a month - and then extended our stay. Everything is clean and very well maintained. Very friendly group of people in general and we participated in a few of their social activities. I purchased the AireBeam wifi and it worked really well and was nice and fast. (from $3.95 for one day to $40.00 for the month). Great pool and hot tub. Excellent mail service. Convenient to Casa Grande. We would definitely return! The nightly rate is based on monthly rate we paid. Nice, friendly park with nice pool area, clubhouse and exercise facilities. The guests here are smiling and having a good time. The park activity director plans fun activities for reasonable rates. There are also activities initiated by guests. Sites are spacious and roads are excellent-paved and wide for maneuvering. This is our first year here. We find the park to be excellent place to stay. Everything is very clean and well maintained. Nice pickle-ball courts, billiard room, pool, hot tub, shuffle board, curling courts and horse shoes etc. They also have a nice exercise room. Everyone here is super nice and the activity director plans a lot of events: ie: tag-a-longs, in house entertainment etc. They also have many fruit trees in the common areas behind each site (oranges, lemons and grapefruit). We will definitely return here next year. We camped at Silverado RV Resort (formerly Desert Valley RV Resort) in a Motorhome.

This park is very close to Casa Grande and lots of shopping. Also close to the Eloy airport. Said to be the best place to skydive in the USA. There are restaurants within a couple of miles of park with good food and entertainment.

We spent a week here. The rate reflects a weekly rate. The roads are paved and the sites are gravel. The arrangement of the utilities are a little unusual in that they are all at the back of the site so you may need long electric, water and sewer lines. While we were there we had a substantial amount of rain and when we drove out of our site the tires sunk down through the gravel to mud. Didn't get stuck but a fifth wheel got stuck next door while trying to back into a site. The staff was friendly and the facilities were well maintained. If you want WiFi you must buy it from a 3rd party. We did that and paid $14.95 for a week. The service was good. We camped at Silverado RV Resort (formerly Desert Valley RV Resort) in a Motorhome.
