The staff were very friendly, and the site was long enough that we did not have to unhook our car. It's actually two sites back to back. The park had a lot of annuals, but it was still quiet. It was easy access to the interstate. There is a Steak House and Saloon on site. This was an overnight stop. Would stay here again as an overnight stop. We camped at Black Bart's RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is our 3rd time here. We like to travel out west and usually go on I 40 on way home. Other reviewers are correct about some permanents but they are quiet working people. The office girl is very helpful and we love seeing her each time we come. Our pull through is really two sites back to back. We camped at Black Bart's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Walnut Canyon National Monument is only about 10 miles away. Makes for some beautiful photos. Ancient cliff dwellings. $8 per person or free if you have the Senior Pass.

Had a lot of full time residents but always quiet with no issues. Spaces were a little unlevel but just needed to lower the front way down and you had to disconnect your tow vehicle. Front staff was very friendly. Ate at the restaurant on site, food was good and servers were excellent. Felt it was a little pricy though. We stayed two nights in a 41 ft fifth wheel. This is not a resort but a decent place to stay on your way through. We camped at Black Bart's RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We've stayed here several times because it is convenient, but owners really should be paying more attention to condition of sites and roads. Sites aren't level, roads are full of potholes/bumps, "lawn" between sites is dead, and pads are cracked and/or broken. No attention to making the sites appealing at all. Lots of pine trees, so if you have satellite be careful what site you get. Lots of permanents with stuff all around make the back portion less than exciting. Office personnel are friendly and accommodating when possible. We camped at Black Bart's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Sam's Club, grocery stores and department stores within an easy drive. Lots of restaurants to chose from. There is a restaurant on the grounds that uses college students for waitstaff and entertainment, but have not tried it for ourselves.

The park is slightly unkempt but is clean and uneven sights. It is unique in that they have a restaurant and you an have dinner and table service and watch a play. The cast members serve you at your table and also are cast members during the play. They are ASU students and do a good job. We camped at Black Bart's RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed one night whole passing thru trying to get ahead of a winter cold front. Other reviewers were right on about this park. The interior roads are very rough and bounced our motor home around. Our extra long pull through space was actually 2 back to back spaces being used as one long space. The width was okay but our electric cord wouldn't reach the outlet without using a 25 foot extension. The concrete patio was broken concrete that had heaved and was easy to catch your foot on so we had to be careful. There are a lot of permanent units in the park. We did go to the restaurant and the food was good but quite expensive and the entertainment was mediocre. Most singing waiters/waitresses were from the local college. We thought overall the restaurant was highly overrated. I would not stay again in this park if given a choice. We camped at Black Bart's RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stumbled upon Black Bart's RV park on our vacation. The staff were very friendly, and the site was long enough that we did not have to unhook our towed enclosed car hauler. The park had a lot of long term residents, but it was still quiet and nice. It was easy access to the interstate and was easy to get to town and back. There is a restaurant on site, Steak House and Saloon, they had a musical show at dinner time that was fun and very good, the food was fantastic! We really enjoyed our stay here and would go back again when in the area! We camped at Black Bart's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The college town had a ton of stores and events going on at the time. They are a very dog friendly town! We went to Snow Bowl Arizona and took the ski lift up to the top, there was no snow, just a nice ride up and down the mountain, lots of fun!

The roads and sites need repair. Location is good. Needs some TLC. Lots of full timers right in front, they should be in the back, out of the way. The sewer connection was using a piece of cement hooked to a metal handle. Very hard to connect. One nice thing: We went to the Steak House and experienced singing waiters and waitresses. That was excellent, the food as well. We camped at Black Bart's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

We drove to Sedona two days in a row and did sight seeing there. The sunsets are absolutely breath taking. Downtown shops are fun to go through and different, not the usual. They have a Holy Cross Chapel which is beautiful and then go on top of the hill and wait for the sunset. It's well worth the wait. There were 100 people there on the 28th of Sept. Flagstaff is a nice town to run errands.

Stayed several nights in a 40' class A with tow vehicle. Overall, this campground has not been upgraded for a very long time. The interior roads are in bad shape, site's concrete patios are broken up, most sites have water ruts (sites are mostly gravel/dirt), and mole holes are everywhere (my wife twisted an ankle). Two of the three site pics on the website are of one site closest to the office which they do maintain. Our site was so unlevel that I used 3" leveling blocks under left rear wheels, 6" on right rear as well as extending my rear jacks fully on top of 6"blocks. Many campers could not connect to either electrical, water or sewer without extensions. There is no cable or WIFI. The laundry room is clean and affordable. We should have researched this campground before committing (e.g. checked reviews and satellite views) and we will not stay here again. Many people come here for an overnight (get off the freeway) stay, or to visit the on site restaurant - which we did not try. Verizon and AT&T cell coverage is good.

Research reviews carefully. You will be camping next to a noisy truck stop. The most level sites are 2-24, but they are closest to the truck stop. Sites 25-55 have the most unlevel sites. 112-131 are not too bad. You may need electrical, water or sewer extensions. We camped at Black Bart's RV Park in a Motorhome.

There is no pool, no WiFi, no cable . . . Well, not much of anything here other than an overpriced restaurant. The sites are small, not level (We have three 4X4 boards under our jacks.), and the roads wore out years ago. But the fare is the lowest in town and everything works. If you are just stopping for the night, it's an easy in and out. If you are here for Flagstaff, BB's is just on the edge of the city which is very close, and there is bus service to downtown and the mall. We like Black Bart's and stay here every time we're visiting Flagstaff. And, the office workers are wonderful. The only bad is there is a huge parking lot adjacent to the RV park. They run their engines all night. If the wind is blowing toward the RVs, it becomes hard to breathe for some. We camped at Black Bart's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Don't miss the tour of Flagstaff led by Johnny Anaya. (928)853-0792. The tour starts at the train depot and Johnny knowledge of Flagstaff history is extensive.

If you would like your rig washed and polished while here, call John Trotnow at (928)680-9299. He does good work.

RV park was very close to fwy & heard traffic all night. Would stay again, but would ask for a spot closer to steak house or by entrance. We were in spot #110 with no sound barrier. Where they placed us were a lot of full timers. Other spots were overnighters. Staff in office very polite. Steakhouse was good, but a bit pricey. We camped at Black Bart's RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a good place to spend a night while traveling on I-40 or Old route 66. A lot of the park are quiet long term permanent residents. Some of the sites are not level so be careful which one you get. The showers are big, beautiful and designed to give almost no privacy. There were NO hooks for any clothes or toiletries that I could reach in the Ladies Bathroom. also the Restrooms are used by the restaurant which might cause some problems in the evening. We camped at Black Bart's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall first impression was good but as we looked closer, it seems like this once quaint park has seen better days. Rutted roads, sites were extremely packed in tight and patio slabs broken. I was excited for the restaurant, but was turned off by the smell of cigarettes and old musty carpet. My chair lopped back and forth, thought I was going to fall off. The sewer drain was too far from our rig, had to close up slides and pull forward about 8 feet the next morning. The biggest letdown for me and my teenagers, no Wi-Fi! What the heck? As big, crowded, and expensive as our one night stay was, they need to upgrade to the 21st century. We did love the convenient location off I-40 and the big trees were lovely. The food and entertainment was good. We probably won't stay again. We camped at Black Bart's RV Park in a Motorhome.

What a dump. Needs a total renovation. The only thing good here is the bathrooms & showers because they have been renovated. Roads are crap, big potholes. Concert pads are broken & picnic table is really bad...don't sit on it or you will have a bottom full of splinters. No dog run. No WiFi. No cable. Get going if you want these things. The facility is long on the overdue maintenance schedule. The driveway into the place was severely rutted, the sites were totally uneven and also severely rutted. The lot # sign posts indicating our assigned spot was a joke. The bathrooms were very nice but were shared by the on-site restaurant; my feeling is if it weren't for the restaurant they too would be shabby like the rest of the place. Its close proximity to I-40 traffic make it noisy. Fortunately we only stayed for one night while passing through. If you're looking for a one night stay it's marginally okay, otherwise keep looking.
