Spent 4 nights, very windy during the day. Was not expecting it to snow in May. Have not stayed in a bad place yet but thought this park was average. Had 4 bars on Verizon phone which helped with internet. Got 4 OTA channels. Staff was friendly. Would stay again during winter... summer would be hot, only trees were along edge of park. No dog park/run but large wooded area adjacent to park helped. Park parallels Hwy 40, we did not have any problems sleeping. State troopers were active pulling over speeders. Both staff and steak house were great. We camped at Black Bart's RV Park in a Motorhome.

We camped here for 3 nights to visit the Expedition Expo. The location is next to the truck stop. Not a lot of noises from that but highway traffic noise is a bit much. Slept great though. Staff is nice and the park is pretty clean. We did not use the restrooms or showers. We had good neighbors. The site was gravel, pretty level, and real long. Actually it is 2 sites. Later a Class C camped behind us. I would definitely stay here again. We camped at Black Bart's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

We have stayed multiple times in this park over several years on our journeys through Flagstaff. Since our last stay 2 years ago, the management seems to be trying to resurrect the park and are beginning to fix up the sites. All of the sites now have a new layer of large gravel and the sewer outlets have been replaced and painted a bright yellow. In order to accommodate big rigs, they have you take two sites which makes the utility tower, water and sewer a little strange for hookups. We ended up using our neighbors second water and sewer outlets in order to make an easy connection. We had over 30 OTA television stations and good Verizon and Sprint service.

They normally park overnighters in the front of the park underneath the large pine trees but we elected the rear of the park among the full-timers in order to be close to the large parcel of wooded open land that allowed us to walk our dogs. This park is noisy as it is right off of the I-40 West, near a main connector road as well as a truck stop.

Having Black Bart's Steakhouse on property is a real plus as the food is good and the musical Waiters provide a fun dinner. We would stay here again for an overnight stay now that they have begun to clean up the park. We camped at Black Bart's RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Large park, easy access from I-40, truck stop next door for fuel up. Sites are large with concrete patios. The saloon/steakhouse on site is a fun place to have a good mean and enjoy the entertainment from the singing waiter/waitresses. It gets cold at night in October so they warn you to turn off and unhook water hose at night. We would stay there again. We camped at Black Bart's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Staff were friendly and very helpful. The road in is a bit bumpy but just take it slow. No Wifi. Not many TV channels. Our site 131/97 was very sloppy which we managed with all our blocks. There were 7 vacant level sites next to us so I didn't understand why we were given this site. We camped at Black Bart's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The Lowell Observatory in the night was really interesting as well as attending during the day. The Bever Street brewery had good pizza and beer. Also the Mother Road brewery had lovely Kooch style beer. The meteor crater on the way to Winslow was very interesting. The Eagles song standing on the corner in Winslow Arizona is depicted still. The restored hotel La Posada in Winslow was beautiful.

This is our 3rd time here. We like to travel out west and usually go on I 40 on way home. Other reviewers are correct about some permanents but they are quiet working people. The office girl is very helpful and we love seeing her each time we come. Our pull through is really two sites back to back. We camped at Black Bart's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Had a lot of full time residents but always quiet with no issues. Spaces were a little unlevel but just needed to lower the front way down and you had to disconnect your tow vehicle. Front staff was very friendly. Ate at the restaurant on site, food was good and servers were excellent. Felt it was a little pricy though. We stayed two nights in a 41 ft fifth wheel. This is not a resort but a decent place to stay on your way through. We camped at Black Bart's RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

We've stayed here several times because it is convenient, but owners really should be paying more attention to condition of sites and roads. Sites aren't level, roads are full of potholes/bumps, "lawn" between sites is dead, and pads are cracked and/or broken. No attention to making the sites appealing at all. Lots of pine trees, so if you have satellite be careful what site you get. Lots of permanents with stuff all around make the back portion less than exciting. Office personnel are friendly and accommodating when possible. We camped at Black Bart's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Sam's Club, grocery stores and department stores within an easy drive. Lots of restaurants to chose from. There is a restaurant on the grounds that uses college students for waitstaff and entertainment, but have not tried it for ourselves.

The park is slightly unkempt but is clean and uneven sights. It is unique in that they have a restaurant and you an have dinner and table service and watch a play. The cast members serve you at your table and also are cast members during the play. They are ASU students and do a good job. We camped at Black Bart's RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

We stumbled upon Black Bart's RV park on our vacation. The staff were very friendly, and the site was long enough that we did not have to unhook our towed enclosed car hauler. The park had a lot of long term residents, but it was still quiet and nice. It was easy access to the interstate and was easy to get to town and back. There is a restaurant on site, Steak House and Saloon, they had a musical show at dinner time that was fun and very good, the food was fantastic! We really enjoyed our stay here and would go back again when in the area! We camped at Black Bart's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The college town had a ton of stores and events going on at the time. They are a very dog friendly town! We went to Snow Bowl Arizona and took the ski lift up to the top, there was no snow, just a nice ride up and down the mountain, lots of fun!

We stayed one night whole passing thru trying to get ahead of a winter cold front. Other reviewers were right on about this park. The interior roads are very rough and bounced our motor home around. Our extra long pull through space was actually 2 back to back spaces being used as one long space. The width was okay but our electric cord wouldn't reach the outlet without using a 25 foot extension. The concrete patio was broken concrete that had heaved and was easy to catch your foot on so we had to be careful. There are a lot of permanent units in the park. We did go to the restaurant and the food was good but quite expensive and the entertainment was mediocre. Most singing waiters/waitresses were from the local college. We thought overall the restaurant was highly overrated. I would not stay again in this park if given a choice. We camped at Black Bart's RV Park in a Motorhome.

RV park was very close to fwy & heard traffic all night. Would stay again, but would ask for a spot closer to steak house or by entrance. We were in spot #110 with no sound barrier. Where they placed us were a lot of full timers. Other spots were overnighters. Staff in office very polite. Steakhouse was good, but a bit pricey. We camped at Black Bart's RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
