Stayed here on our way through Arizona. Stayed 2 nights, should have left after one. My overall feeling of this park was that the owner was doing US a favor by LETTING us stay there. Sites are extremely tight with lots of trees. Everything is rocks & gravel with one main road that is paved. Each site had fencing on either side (which made the site isolated & tight), the dog park was knee-deep in pine needles. Never have I ever been to a park where there was a rule that says that you cannot wash clothes in your RV (found out later it was due to water conservation - whatever). I refused to use their laundry facilities, so I have no idea what they were like. When we first drove up, our vocal Labrador was barking in the RV. I was told that "no excessive barking" was tolerated. When I went out to tell my husband to quiet the dog, the guy followed me out to our rig to make sure that I had told him of their policy - I felt like I was being babysat. I was so stressed out the whole time we were there, because I was sure that he would kick us out if that Lab started barking. We stayed here in a 40' motorhome. Will not be returning. We camped at Greer's Pine Shadows in a Motorhome.

A very nice RV park. Fully shaded. Be aware that there are no showers or toilets. This is our favorite RV spot in Flagstaff. We camped at Greer's Pine Shadows in a Motorhome.

I am doing this review on my phone since it has LTE and the wifi is basically nonexistent. That said, it is a nice park in the pines with nice cool evenings. We are on our way to Utah and this is an ok place to overnight. There are lots of long term folk here but it is clean and pretty quiet considering the highway is right there. The staff was pleasant. We camped at Greer's Pine Shadows in a Motorhome.

We like rules but this park has LOTS of them. We weren't able to make reservations til 1 ½ months before our arrival date. No credit cards just check or cash. Office hours are limited; doesn't open till 10 am. The host is most often outside so even if you call during office hours there will be no answer. If you arrive on Sunday the office is closed so you self register. You must have exact change if paying in cash. You can't use the washer in your RV. The laundromat is open 9 am to 7 pm last load at 6 pm. No bathrooms or showers. There is no grass for your pets but there is a pet park with a thick bed of pine needles that satisfied even our finicky puppy. Its under surveillance, if you don't pick up after your pet there is a fine & you can lose your pet park privileges. This rule we liked but we still came across poops. There is no cable but you can pick up 25 + channels over the air. The TV towers are behind the park on top of the mountain. Our site was satellite friendly but that isn't guaranteed. The majority of the guests are monthly & friendly. The host is abrupt when you talk to him on the phone but in person he is nice & the guests seem to like him. It is quiet in the park even though it is on a main street. The park is located near restaurants & shopping. It backs up to a national forest accessed with a code. We didn't use the WIFI but I heard from others it usually works. If it doesn't it it can be reset during office hours. We camped at Greer's Pine Shadows in a Motorhome.

This was not a very good park. No bathrooms or showers. The man in charge offered us a space which we were happy to find without a reservation. Price was ok but not a bargain and the park was pretty messy. Would not stay again. Guess we would opt for a more expensive place if we could find one. We camped at Greer's Pine Shadows in a Motorhome.

Stayed 2 nights, then 1 night a week or so later. Second stay was water and elec. only. Clean. Shady. Dog park was nice. Seemed a tad cliquish. Card players had laundry room entrance from dog park locked. That's okay, didn't want in there anyway. We camped at Greer's Pine Shadows in a Travel Trailer.

Park was full so we were assigned a space with no sewer and they don't have bathrooms. It was too small for our rig and RIGHT NEXT to our neighbor. The gentleman at the desk, who I assume is the owner, was very helpful. We camped at Greer's Pine Shadows in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice park in the Ponderosa pines with excellent access to grocery stores, gas, other shopping as well as commutes to downtown Flagstaff and Sedona. Very pleasant and helpful management. We were able to get a site at the last minute and stayed for several days. Great access to trails. After traveling throughout the SW heat for several days prior, we were happy to be at the 6900' elevation and cool weather. It even snowed one night. We camped at Greer's Pine Shadows in a Fifth Wheel.

First; it's a wonderful park. There are pine trees through out the park. It's a bit rustic, gravel and dirt sites, however, they are level, and the park is very quiet. Second; and maybe the most important, there are NO bathrooms or showers. The sites are full hook ups, so for us that wasn't a problem. When making reservations they inform you that there are no bathrooms or showers. Also, CASH only. It's a great location as Walnut Canyon National Park, Sunset Crater Volcanic National Park, historic Flagstaff, and shopping, including a movie theater, are all within a short drive. We would definitely stay again. We camped at Greer's Pine Shadows in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

At Sunset Crater Visitor's Center there is a relief map that shows the 600+ craters throughout the area. I thought it was very cool. Don't miss Walnut Canyon. There are 240 steps to walk down (of course you then have to walk up) to get to the "island", it's well worth it. You can get an up close look at how the indians lived.

We stayed here 1 night on our way to the Grand Canyon in a 40 foot motor home. We were towing a car. The customer service was outstanding. They accommodated our every need. GPS directions not accurate. This is a beautiful park with lots of trees. Very quiet and peaceful. Great area for dogs. There is also access to the national forest from the park with miles of trails. There are no showers or bathrooms. There is WiFi and cable TV. WiFi worked fine. Didn't use the TV. 30 and 50 amp hookups, sewer and water. Cash or check only. We paid $32 for 1 night. We wanted to stay longer! We camped at Greer's Pine Shadows in a Motorhome.

Easy to get to, convenient location. Although it's right off a busy highway, it's set back into the trees, attenuating the traffic noise somewhat. Site was very long and level, though quite narrow. A little tight driving through the park, but not horrible. Customer service was good. Wifi was good, as was Verizon signal. We camped at Greer's Pine Shadows in a Travel Trailer.

Cash Only! This is a family run park very conveniently located and significantly less expensive than the other RV parks in town. Most of the residents appear to spend the entire summer here but are friendly to newbies. All pull through sites, gravel, that are quite tight. ALL Pull through spots, can be tight. All gravel. We only stayed one night on our way to San Diego. Will definitely come back. Owners are just wonderful. We camped at Greer's Pine Shadows in a Fifth Wheel.

Hunan Chinese Restaurant # 10 on 4th. They had excellent food. Groceries and plenty of restaurants nearby. Campground is very near grocery stores, Target, Starbucks, etc., and it's about a 10 minute drive down into historic Flagstaff.
