Nice place. Very good utilities. Excellent WiFi. Well laid out park with big sites. Great TV channels and some are HD. Quiet for the most part. Don't know what all the snippy remarks in other reviews are about the lava rock but it won't bother your dog and we didn't track any in. Definitely would stay here again. Very nice park in a great location for shopping and restaurants. A little overpriced but it does seem to be one of the nicest in the area. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Have stayed here before and would stay here again even though they are priced a little high. We camped at J & H RV Park (Senior Oriented) in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

This is a nice, clean, quiet park on the North side of Flagstaff. It's 5 miles to downtown and only 35 miles to Sedona. There is grocery and gas within a mile. The rate is the AAA rate including tax. I think we had the only space that didn't have shade in the afternoon. There are lots of shade trees. We would stay here again. We camped at J & H RV Park (Senior Oriented) in a Travel Trailer.Undo

This is the nicest park in Flagstaff and they take advantage with the highest rates. They raised the weekly rate by $30 this year. Even though the website says the tax is included, it is not so the savings per day on the weekly rate is 72 cents. This is NOT a bargain. As stated by previous reviewers the red lava rock is hard to walk on and hard on doggy paws. Though we complained about the clothes dryers not working properly, nothing was done and it took two cycles at $3.00 to dry a load of permanent press. The park is between two industrial complexes so it can be very noisy plus highway noise. We camped at J & H RV Park (Senior Oriented) in a Motorhome.Undo

We like this place. Friendly staff. About half the spaces are sunbirds who come to Flagstaff to get out of the heat. Friendly folks. Park is very clean. Had no problems getting or staying level. Not sure why other reviewers had a problem. Space 35 was plenty wide for slide-outs and our truck. No smoking anywhere, which we liked. Missed not having a pool for exercise but that was the only issue. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at J & H RV Park (Senior Oriented) in a Travel Trailer.Undo

This park is as spotless as you will find. We selected this park because of its high ratings and were not disappointed. The staff was helpful and friendly. The location is excellent - both in proximity to Flagstaff as well as the surrounding area. It is safe and secure. Our site was perfectly flat, paved, and long and wide. There are many sites like ours, and there are also some smaller ones that are ideal for smaller units. I would have given this park a "10" except my husband likes to have a pool :-) We camped at J & H RV Park (Senior Oriented) in a Motorhome.Undo

They are in the process of upgrading this park and re-landscaping with red gravel. What they have done so far looks really nice. The sites are wide and it's easy to navigate in the park. Baths were newly tiled with pretty, pine ceilings but there was no TP in one of the stalls for 2 days. The patio is nice with a fountain, fire pit and chairs. Good Wi-Fi! This is our second time in the park. They do a nice job of keeping the park clean and orderly. The staff is friendly. The sites are cinder and roads are gravel. The cinders will make their way into everything. The utilities are good. This is the best park in Flagstaff and a lot of the campers stay for the season so get your reservations in early. We will return. We camped at J & H RV Park (Senior Oriented) in a Motorhome.Undo

Not sure why previous high marks. Yes, clean but not what we expected. Located in an industrial area, brick wall around it, crushed lava rock, impossible to level trailer. Just not what we think of as a above average park. Flagstaff is such a pretty area, there has to be something better. Would not stay here again. The rate reflects the Good Sam discount. We were assigned to Site 25. Our site had lava rock ground cover which caused the travel trailer to shift continuously. The site was so narrow that we could not park our truck with the camper and our slide out on our small 27' trailer interfered with the neighbor's site. No privacy at all. However, this campground markets itself as a senior site so it is very quiet and clean. We are seniors but we do not feel we got a good value for the price. There are lots of unusual restrictions such as "No smoking even in your own camper". The staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed 3 nights and believe there are many other campgrounds in this area at a better value. If you are looking for a one night stay, this would be fine. I think we must have arrived when the owners were a little grumpy. The park is clean, site was long enough for our 38' RV and dually pickup, has good water, a clean laundry, and a small pet park. The park offered cable TV and Wi-Fi. We parked on red lava gravel, which is hard to walk on and our dog hated. Our site (#20) had a half picnic table. Our biggest complaint was the electrical system, as on hot afternoons our surge protector kicked off on low voltage. I talked to the owner, but he said the system wasn't designed for larger RVs and there was nothing he could do. It made for 4 miserable afternoons. The rate is based on a week with a Good Sam discount. Rather pricey but we would consider staying there again. We camped at J & H RV Park (Senior Oriented) in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

Very nice RV park on the north side of town. Very easy to get in and get out of the RV sites and the park itself. The sites are level and have plenty of room. We only stayed one night because they were booked the following day. Otherwise, we probably would have spent at least one more day here. Flagstaff is a nice city. The park is nice enough but not the staff. Level sites with trees but too close together. Showers and restrooms were clean but completely closed 12 - 2 for cleaning. They have a $10. per hour charge if you need to leave after 11 am. Small dog walk area. This is a senior oriented park so no kids allowed. Also, there are signs everywhere "reminding" of the "rules". The signs are beyond your typical message and tend to be irritating and somewhat rude. We did not feel comfortable at this park and will not return. Overall, this is a very nice park and well maintained. A grassy, fenced dog area with doggie bags is very nice and clean. Site is gravel as is the whole park. Not a dusty gravel. But, WiFi was slow and was shut down for a day by provider. Claimed someone was downloading illegally. Not sure what that meant. Had problems with 50 amp service. Worker claimed the park was built 30 years ago for RVs with one a/c unit. Mine has 3 a/c's plus it is all electric so generator kicked on when voltage dropped very low (105). I would come back. This is an excellent park for overnight or longer term stays. It has spacious level sites with good utilities including cable. Most sites are fine for satellite reception and the wifi is very good. If we are in Flagstaff in the future, we will definitely choose this park again. We camped at J & H RV Park (Senior Oriented) in a Motorhome.Undo
