One of the nicest parks we have stayed at. Easy to find and easy to enter and exit. Sites are level but a bit close. Park management are very nice we would stay there again without question. We camped at J & H RV Park (Senior Oriented) in a Motorhome.

Sites are long, narrow gravel sites. Our site was not level and required extra blocks. There was a small tree that blocked our ability to open our awning. There was a small patio and picnic table if you didn't mind staring into your neighbor's rig. There was quite a bit of road noise from 89 during the day, which did taper off some at night. The dog park was handy. We camped at J & H RV Park (Senior Oriented) in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice park, easy to find, clean and well maintained. Planned on staying 3 nights, such a good area where extending by a couple of days here. We camped at J & H RV Park (Senior Oriented) in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Groceries and plenty of restaurants nearby. #19 is good for satellite reception.

Senior only park. Very clean and quiet. Office staff nice and helpful. Spaces were a bit narrow but lots of trees and landscaping for a nice setting. One of the quirks are the number of rules. There a lot of them such as "No cigar smoking anywhere", "No using a ladder to climb on top of your RV", "No antennas more than 5' taller than the RV", "No Pit Bulls, Rottweiler or Dobermans", also "No leashes over 6" long". My wife and I got a good laugh over them but since they didn't effect our stay, no problem. When in Flagstaff I would stay there again with no hesitation. We camped at J & H RV Park (Senior Oriented) in a Motorhome.

A little pricey but a very well-maintained park. We are 24 feet long plus a toad so we had a back-in space. Roads are a little tight for bigger rigs but pull-thrus are available for longer rigs. Utilities and sewer were good as well as cable. We use Verizon WiFi which had a decent signal. Cannot comment on park WiFi as we did not use it. Yes, this is a 55+ park but that suits us just fine. Plenty of other choices if you have youngsters with you. Lots of trees so satellite reception is not good. A nice quiet park if you are in town for a few days of sightseeing. We would stay here again. We camped at J & H RV Park (Senior Oriented) in a Motorhome.

Beautiful park that's very well managed and maintained. Loved the proximity to Flagstaff, but paid a premium for it here. Level sites. Pleasant office with big trade-it book cases full of books, puzzles, & other nice offerings. Very nice bathrooms & laundry facility. Water features in the park were lovely to listen to. Great trees throughout the park and sites that were gorgeous this time of year. Lots of rules, but they didn't negatively impact our stay so we were good with them. We would stay again. We camped at J & H RV Park (Senior Oriented) in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Campground is very near grocery stores, Target, Starbucks, etc., and it's about a 10 minute drive down into historic Flagstaff.

This is a squared-away place to camp. Sensible rules, scrupulously clean, and a pleasant environment. Price is a little steep, but value is decent in terms of overall environment. Our site was dead-level. Nice trees in the park. Note that the entrance has a somewhat short deceleration area to get off the highway, especially if other rigs are waiting in line at the office, so mind your speed on approach. We camped at J & H RV Park (Senior Oriented) in a Travel Trailer.

Very convenient to I40 & to eastern Grand Canyon entrance. Very tidy and compact but easy to park with many pull thru sites. Owners have rules with a sense of humor. Convenient dog park & dog wash. Park was very quiet in Oct. Sites dried quickly after heavy rain. Wifi was good and everything worked. A great park for visiting the area. We camped at J & H RV Park (Senior Oriented) in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Many convenient historic & geological sites.

This is a very nice CG with excellent, well maintained, and level pull through sites. The owners are gracious and accommodating. Wifi is the best to date. Verizon has three bars and Satellite reception was excellent. This is a Senior Oriented Park (no children), with some strict rules that should be reviewed prior to making a reservation that include no smoking and no motorcycles. Easy on and off Highway 89 (some noise). I would not hesitate to return. We camped at J & H RV Park (Senior Oriented) in a Motorhome.

J&H caters mostly to seasonal Sunbirds but usually have space for shorter stays. As others point out, they have firm rules - no kids, no smoking, no nonsense and they are serious about it. We like that. They do a BBQ on Sundays that was fun. Back-in sites are spacious. Pull-throughs are a bit tighter but still enough space for slide-outs. The owners have worked hard to make this a nice place to stay. The park is often full so call ahead for reservations. We camped at J & H RV Park (Senior Oriented) in a Travel Trailer.

One of my few tens. This park is perfectly kept up with many trees and shrubs and nice wide spaces. In my opinion the daily rate was rather high. We plan to come back next year and stay a couple weeks. We camped at J & H RV Park (Senior Oriented) in a Travel Trailer.

Clean, quiet park. Very senior oriented; no families present. Shade at most spots although ours was only partially shaded. Looks like many campers are there for the summer, yet their spaces are tidy. We don't care for the use of cinders around campsites since they are hard on the dog's feet, but at least the main roadways were compacted gravel. Price was higher than most parks but worth it. Fenced doggie area was clean. We camped at J & H RV Park (Senior Oriented) in a Travel Trailer.

Best park we've stayed in, very clean, & quiet except for occasional aircraft noise early in the morning. No children under 18 here, extra charge of $5 per person over 2 people. All gravel drives but well maintained. Sites are fairly level with red lava rock and concrete patio. No issues with any utilities, we couldn't use the cable because the connection point wasn't with the other utilities and our cord wasn't long enough, the wifi worked well. Pull thru sites for overnighters are a little tight but you can fully spread out your slideouts & awning. Sites were long enough for us to keep our pickup connected to the trailer and an extra small SUV parked. Our site was in the full sun, but was pleasant in the evening at Flagstaff altitude. Will definitely stay there again if we are in the area. Very friendly & helpful staff. Well done J & H owners! Thanks for a great stay! As others have stated, this park is clean and well maintained. If you are here for the season you may get one of the fairly wide sites with plenty of shade. If you're here for only a few days in high season they put you in the center aisle of pull thrus. These sites are very narrow, so narrow that on the "patio" is a bench that folds into a half table. You sit on it staring into the hookups on the side of your neighbor's RV a few feet away. You are in a sardine can with close neighbors to the sides and out the front. For $48 I expect something more. We checked out the KOA a little down the road and that'll be where we go next time. At least there you have some room and some forest to look at. We camped at J & H RV Park (Senior Oriented) in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Cinder Hills OHV Area a few miles up the road is spectacular. You can drive some of it without 4WD, but with a jeep or ATV you can explore off road (legally).

As others have reported, lots of rules but not strident. Good, clean "mini-laundry" open all night (as opposed to full laundry that closed early evening.) A bit expensive for an overnight. We camped at J & H RV Park (Senior Oriented) in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Very close to Flag Tools and Buddy's RV Repair, two of the best RV repair shops I've ever found. John at Flag Tools quickly and efficiently fixed an Onan generator problem that other shops missed. For generator work, go to Flag Tool and for electrical (solar, batteries, convertors, etc) go to Buddy's.
