We have stayed at this park a couple of times this year and last when passing through Gallup. It is easy access off I40 and perfect for a one night stay. Gravel sites are adequate in size, although if you're a big rig and we are, someone in the next site with slides, could get a bit cramped. We haven't had anyone next to us either time this year so we've been lucky. Utilities are adequately placed, nice little dog park that was clean, however, along the sides of the park people tend not to pick up after their animals (my pet peeve). Nice little store on site and some nights there is a barbecue on site with pulled pork, chicken, etc. Friendly staff as well. Definitely will stay here again when we are in the area. - Wannabees

Nice park. Very quiet (not including airport and train). Modest dog run (walled in pea gravel...no pun intended). Pool/playground/cookout área looked nice. WiFi not terribly fast. Bathroom/shower clean but shower stall was small. Camp store had eclectic RV supplies and some groceries. FREE coffee in the AM. Nice staff. Easy to get to location and shopping nearby. - Azreddot

This was our second time staying here in the last couple of years. There is basically very few choices in this area and as an overnight stop it is good. We were there two nights and virtually half of this campground empties out and refills everyday. The pull through sites are easily in and out. Hook ups were good - there was problems at our site with a couple power surges. The biggest problem we had was the unbeliveable amount of dog "poop" everywhere. The enclosed dog walk area had so much on the ground you could not even walk around. It is beyond me how adults with dogs let their pets poop and not feel the responsibility to clean up - on top of that it is unhealthy - worst I have ever seen in all my years of camping. - Larry Jenkins
