We stayed in class a motorhome on 2 different sites due to availability. We stayed there because we wanted to be close to activities that were in the area. The resort is mostly for long term renters because we only saw a few rvs leave during our entire stay. Long term renters have a lot of items out on their sites. The facilities were adequate but the showers were only a shower with restroom facilities located elsewhere. Sites were tight and no tables or privacy. We camped at Eagle View RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Very nice all paved level sites. I mark it down for 2 points I didn't care for. 1) shower is just that, only the shower. You have to go around to restroom to shave, dry hair, etc. I thought this was poorly designed. 2) I don't care for their electric charge of $4 per day on monthly renters. I don't have a $120 bill in August in Oklahoma. Way too high a rate in my opinion. That being said, yes I would stay here again. We camped at Eagle View RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Good for a Class A. Sites close, no privacy, no screening. Level sites, paved for rig, chunky gravel patio area. Paved roads. Garbage pick up daily, donuts & coffee in office every morning, yummy! Shaded, clean area for Swimming & Hot tub. Pool is shallow but ok for short lengths if the pool is not filled with kids. Plenty of lounge chairs in good condition. There is not an Adults Only time set. There is little to no shade available for the rig sites, many people brought shade structures. Good dog walking area with 'poop & scoop' bags/bins provided. Small pen area as well for dog socializing. Only one men's restroom with one stall was frustrating. Ladies had 2/3? No activities at the park, not a lot of socializing, people were friendly but quiet. Staff pleasant & helpful! They have a great area for pulling out and hooking up the rig, flat, out of the way and there is a gas station easy in and out at the junction. We camped at Eagle View RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Our RV specific gps directed us to turn the wrong way off the 87 Hwy. Look for the Eagles View sign on the hill, do not turn into the Casino. Easy access to Fountain Hills( lovely upscale town with art and craft events most weekends.) Easy to get to Old Scottsdale and other attractions. Don't miss the Desert Botanical Gardens.

Nice place, very quiet, good dog park. The only negative is the Wifi. Another park that does not put enough into having a good wifi. People need it these days. I could rarely get on and when we left, we were told that the best wifi in there in the office, year, that is where I want to go every time I need to get on. We camped at Eagle View RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

It is easy to get in, out and around in the park. All roads paved. Sites are asphalt and pretty level. Utilities work well. Wifi is very good. The pool and hot tub are great. Nice fitness center. My only complaint about the park is the smell of sewer pretty much everywhere as I go for a walk. We camped at Eagle View RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Go into Fountain Hills and walk around Fountain Lake. At the RV park, you can go across the road (through the RV storage area) and up an old dirt road for a walk in the desert.

The word "Resort" should be changed to "Parking Lot". We attended a Heartland Local Chapter Rally here. All sites are asphalt back ins with gravel between the parking spots. There are no picnic tables anywhere - not even in the Bar B Que area. No trees. No store in the office although the showers and laundry is very clean. A Chevron station near the park entrance that has your quick needs at premium prices.
It is very clean mainly because the RV Resort is fairly new. The location is a short distance from Fountain Hills with the only thing close by being a Casino.
We visited a few tourist sights in the area and also noted several other RV Parks that were pretty rough looking.
All in all it was an OK stay. We camped at Eagle View RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

Overall a very good park especially for shorter stays. Very few seasonals, and most of these are in an area separate from short term. Unlike other reviewers, we were unable to get full use out of the Internet as our neighbor blocked clear access to one of the towers. We could only access from the bedroom, but when they moved on reception was good. If this park spent a little effort on landscaping this would easily be a 10, but the outside area in which to sit or grill is just gravel and dirt with no shrubbery nor any picnic tables. We stayed for 8 days. Was clean but our only complaint was of other campers walking through our campsite as it was a shortcut! As stated before close to casino and Fountain Hills. Verizon and MiFi was good. Would stay here again but in another location not close to the showers. Laundry is excellent! We camped at Eagle View RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

There is nothing really special about this RV park. The only real attraction close by is the casino across the road. We stayed here holding a rally with 13 coaches. Three coaches were forced to dry camp in the overflow lot and were still charged FULL PRICE! The park is full this month because of Spring Training in Phoenix. Monthly rate is $775 plus electricity. This makes this park one of the most expensive around. We camped at Eagle View RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: December, 2011 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

I have stayed at this park a number of times. It is one of the few RV parks in the Phoenix area. Most now cater to park models. The $27 rate is based upon the monthly rate of about $800 - a little pricey. It is owned by the Indian casino. They are not putting any money into the park, and it is starting to look a little run down. Roads and landscaping need help. I wish there was a well run RV Park in the area that would give them some competition. We camped at Eagle View RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Stayed for 2 weeks. Park is clean. Pool and spa worked and was heated. Before arrival, know what site you want and the price. They vary. Also read ALL rules and regs! 2 weeks and I was reprimanded 3 times! For silly things, like trash on wrong side of coach, toad parked incorrectly. The water hose to clean mats prompted, "Your not washing your RV are you?" So be knowledgeable of the rules. And still be prepared for some wrath. Others had this issue too. Dog friendly, with a 'dog park'. We travel with 5 small dogs in a 1997 37 foot motorhome and we were well received. The park is pleasant, with some road noise from a distant 4 lane highway, but it is not bothersome. Free continental breakfast daily. Very clean with nice views and hospitable staff. The sites are nice, clean and well maintained. Though, we thought it was a bit on the high side for the monthly rate of $775.00 in this area (Nov. 2011). This is a nice resort. We were here past season so the place was nearly empty. One day we had the pool to ourselves, the next day we could not use it, in that four children dominated it, screaming all day long. Not the park's fault, of course. Our site was fine, great staff, clean and well kept. We camped at Eagle View RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

We were kind of "so-so" about this park, especially given the somewhat pricey nightly rate. It basically is a cement parking lot, which was neat and clean. There is daily garbage pick-up and a heated pool. But the place lacks interest: no trees, no cacti, no desert vegetation within the park itself, etc. There is some mountain view, but nothing like what you get at McDowell Regional Park a few miles away. The staff was efficient, although not overly helpful or friendly. There is only one small restroom to serve 150 sites, which was inadequate. We camped at Eagle View RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
