Just stayed one night. The laundry was ample and very clean. The shower, there was only one for each gender, was very old but seemed clean enough. The location was convenient from I-8 and yet rural enough to be pleasant. Staff very friendly. The WiFi was often slow. Good Verizon signal. We stopped at this park just for one night going to Texas from California. The staff were nice and helpful. The sites are massive - drive through or back-in. The free WiFi worked well. Laundry facilities worked well and were reasonably priced. This placed looked like a popular park for off-roaders. I would recommend this park. This is a nice, basic overnight or short term park. Not a lot going on in the park or in the vicinity, but ample sites for longer rigs, good water, nice people. We would stay there again. We camped at Augie's Quail Trail RV Park in a Motorhome.
Not a lot in Gila Bend, but the town hall has a very good little museum with lots of information about the area's history.
Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $29.00
Just did an overnight there. The people running it were friendly and helpful. The park is wide open with large sites plenty of room. I did check out the showers; there was only one shower in the men's room. This park seems to cater to people that want to off road. There are many in the park that had off road vehicles. Easy off and on I-8 about a half mile down the road. I would stay again. We camped at Augie's Quail Trail RV Park in a Motorhome.
If your not an off roader may be somewhat bored here. I did not see much going on here.

This was just an overnight stop for us on our way to the Tucson area. Nice park for the money and nice spot for an overnight stay. The folks who operate the park are friendly, and we were guided to our space by a guy who also came back with a large crescent wrench to remove the cap on the sewer inlet. It was stuck shut and ours was just not large enough. We did use the showers, which we rarely do, because our shower connection had broken inside on the road that day. They were clean and had good pressure. We could see the interstate from our space, but there was little to no noise to interrupt a great nights' sleep. Nice clubhouse and easy, quick access to the interstate. Will definitely stay here again when we pass thru next year. We camped at Augie's Quail Trail RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

Nice clubhouse. Restrooms were clean, but no hand towels, and a slow hand drier. Only 1 shower in each restroom. We camped at Augie's Quail Trail RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo
Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $30.00
Nice large campground. We stayed for approximately 8 months. My husband was working in Gila Bend during that time. There were less expensive places to stay, and the electric seemed like we were being charged double. Other than those two complaints, it was a clean place to stay. Date of Stay: April, 2013 - $27.00
We stayed here a couple times two years ago on our way to and from other winter destinations when they seemed to be primarily a park for snowbirds. We planned on stopping here on our way to Texas last fall, but they were full with a rally. Previously, I would have rated the park a 9. But there was something about it this time which wasn’t quite as attractive, perhaps because the landscaping didn’t seem as sharp as our past stays. Has it changed ownership? The younger staff were friendly enough, but not as welcoming as the older couple who used to man the check in desk. Sites have nice spacing, the laundry still looked okay, and the internet worked well for us. We camped at Augie's Quail Trail RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.Undo
Date of Stay: March, 2013 - $27.00
Our rate reflects a Good Sam discount. The roads are paved, and the sites are gravel. The biggest negative that I see with the park is that they have 113 sites, with many of them containing 2 RV's and only 2 showers a men's and women's. The showers were clean, but when I got there, there was little hot water, but it was about 99 outside so lukewarm water felt pretty good. Their internet was maxed out because of a bike tour, and all the workers were coming back from work. Verizion and MiFi worked fine. We got the the last open spot in the place. For supporting a bunch of workers the park was very neat and clean. This place is good for a night or two, but I'd have to have some reason to stay longer. We were very appreciative of the owners to fit us in. They were very full. They seem to cater to rally's. They are planning to charge for their one shower. They expect only Independent units and people to use their own units toilets and showers. There was no hot water in the one shower. We are used to using the facilities shower so that was surprising to us. Nice big TV in the club house and a hard wired Internet in the clubhouse which was used to pay bills. It was frustrating that there was no WiFi in our unit. They block big downloads like Netflix. Very very nice owners ...just run differently than what we expect. We stayed at Augie's for four months. The campground is very nice and extremely well kept. Staff was excellent. Restrooms and facilities were kept neat and clean. We would camp here again! We camped at Augie's Quail Trail RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

We have stopped here several times as our "last night out" when coming home. Mainly to do laundry - they have a very clean, large laundry. And it is just a great place. They are very busy, not with construction workers in the area taking up most of the spots, so be sure to call ahead. They tell you the Wi-Fi might be slow. If so, just go to the Clubhouse where they have cables for 4 computers all set up and you get right on. And their server blocks long downloads / uploads and that is really a good thing. Nothing fancy - just a good place and clean and great staff. We camped at Augie's Quail Trail RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

This is the best park in the area, and a very nice park to be at. The management went out of their way to give us ideas on historic places to visit. They are very friendly and helpful. Be sure and call ahead and get a reservation, because many full time construction workers and now snow birds fill the park up. Nice sites with plenty of room between. Very clean and well kept up. A really great park for one night this time of year despite the heat, or any time of year. It's away from town with very large sites and lots of privacy, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Great places to walk the dogs, too. The free Internet service was good but slow at times. Our only complaint was the lack of cable TV. We'd easily stay here again. Occasional train noise, though not too bad} Pros: The park is adjacent to a 1000-acre desert state land trust, which is great to hike and let dogs run. There is a self-serve RV wash ($5) and car wash ($3). The shower is hot and clean. There is a nice clubhouse with big-screen TV. The staff is friendly. Cons: There is lots of dirt and dust and no shade, though not a problem in cool February. There is only one shower, but we never had to wait. There is occasional train noise, but it's not too bad.
