Wide enough for all slides. Very level. We paid for a bigger pull through and boy does it have a lot of room. In fact, it appears most of the park has good size sites. Gravel spot, paved streets. Has a picnic table. The sites are pull through with 50, 30, 20 amp FHU. Plenty of room and we didn't need to unhook. Lots of room left over. Sites are not on top of each other. This is a really big park and not crowded (on top of each other). There is a rec hall with small stage. They have some activities. Kitchen, outdoor fireplace and nice seating. The bathroom and showers are very clean. The showers are normal size. Very clean park. It has a heated pool for the winter. Nice park and clean. They are doing a lot of improvements to this already pretty new park. It will be a really nice Winter Visitor park as the years go by. Not that it's not good now. It just needs to "catch" on. The staff is extremely friendly and they guide you to your spot. The wifi was pretty good. But our spot was relatively close to the office. Not sure if the interior was good. The cable was ok with Phoenix stations. AT&T LTE service was decent. There is a gas station just down from the park that has pretty easy in and out for RV's. Price wasn't too bad. We'd stay here again. We camped at Gila Bend KOA (formerly Augie's Quail Trail RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Hands down the best KOA we've visited. The escort and advice to the campsite was professional, helpful and polite. The campsites are large and in excellent condition. Highly recommend this KOA. We camped at Gila Bend KOA (formerly Augie's Quail Trail RV Park) in a Motorhome.

I have a 42' fifth wheel. No problems, wide roads and sites. Easy in and out. Close to highway, but there was little road noise, could not hear it from inside. We just stopped for the night, did not check out pool or bath house. The park was very clean and people friendly. Check in staff were friendly and efficient. Escorted us to our site. Would stay again. I did check out the Shell station down the street, not as nice, but if the KOA was full I would stay there. I saw some big rigs in the park. We camped at Gila Bend KOA (formerly Augie's Quail Trail RV Park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Showers, restrooms are new and the best I have seen at any RV park along with the like new laundry. An off leash doggie area of good size, with grass. All sites are very wide, that's very wide. People drive around in their 4 wheelers. Pool and ranch house gathering area. Wifi is good, slow-not stopped at peak times when park is fuller. Site was $14.00/day+ electric w/KOA discount, monthly rate. We camped at Gila Bend KOA (formerly Augie's Quail Trail RV Park) in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Little Italy for Italian and pizza, very good. Space Age Restaurant, nothing great but OK. Painted Rock Petroglyphs and an old dam further up the road. Takes the hot water awhile to get to the showers but it'll get there.

The new owner has made many improvements and improvements are ongoing. Once completed this is going to be an excellent park. Pull thrus are 100' long and level. We will definitely stay there again. We camped at Gila Bend KOA (formerly Augie's Quail Trail RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Best KOA I've ever been to, and the most reasonably priced. When completed, this park may actually put Gila Bend on the map. Pool is now open, work continues on other common areas. The place does not look like an upgrade of an old park, it looks brand new. The sites are huge. Customer service is outstanding. There are some snowbirds here, and they were all very friendly. I don't know why anyone would want to stay long in Gila Bend (no groceries), but this is a great stop for a few days, and I will be back. Cable included in rate. Verizon signal good. Wifi very good, and easily accessible from inside your rig; no need to traipse over to the office. We camped at Gila Bend KOA (formerly Augie's Quail Trail RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Not your typical KOA - WAY better. Park was not full, as the high season hasn't started yet. New owner spending a lot of time and money improving this park from updated sites to new swimming pool. This is going to be a top notch park very soon, already is worth the stop. We just stayed for one night as we were traveling. We didn't use any of the facilities but we did walk around and look at them - spotless and brand new. We would stay here again. Stayed in a long pull through that had it's own dog run. Kind of overkill on our part since we do not have pets, but it also had a propane fire ring and Bar-B-Q, comfy chairs and a nice picnic table. Great place. Stayed just one night passing through. Neat, clean park. Long, level sites. Pool not open yet. (Waiting on approval of county?) Very friendly. WiFi and Verizon good. Warning sign for poisonous snakes, scorpions and bugs - YIKES. All gravel. 2 grassy pet areas and pet wash. Clubhouse. Work in progress, but will be quite nice. Great stop over or a good place to snowbird it appears. Stayed in a deluxe site - what a treat. Bread new facilities, very nicely done. The price seems a but high for the area, but certainly cannot say anything bad about the park itself. We would return. KOA under new ownership for last 2 years; they've been doing a LOT of work on improvements and it shows. We opted for the premium site with a 400 sf dog run, built-in gas bbq and fire pit, very nice chairs and picnic table/benches. Super friendly and helpful owner delivered our FedEx package that arrived before we did, since he wasn't in the office at check-in. We don't travel this way very often, but will definitely put this park on our list of must-stays when we do. We camped at Gila Bend KOA (formerly Augie's Quail Trail RV Park) in a Motorhome.

This is an RV park in the desert, so landscaping was minimal. But spaces well spread out, easy to set up. Ryan went out of his way to make sure we were set up with cable. He was so personable and pleasant, not only to us, but I also saw him interact with other customers. Looks like once the pool and shower area is complete this will be an even better facility. This park is now owned and operated by KOA and is in process of being redone with new landscaping and facilities, etc. We have stayed here in past years when it was privately owned and always had a pleasant stay, however; this time we found that many of the coming improvements and new construction are not done yet so the interior roads are still gravel and dirt as are the spaces themselves. When completed this will surely be a very nice and enjoyable park to stay at. The landscaping being done appears to be very nicely thought out. We didn't use any of the facilities during this one night stay however there a brand new pool being constructed as well as the clubhouse is being refurbished and will no doubt be very nice when done. All in all, this is a convenient and easy to get to park with good amenities and a friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely continue to use this park when in the area............... Not much close by and pretty much "out there" by itself so have the essentials with you if you don't have a vehicle to drive into town, etc.

This fairly new park was a pleasant experience. It looks to be a destination for snow birds, but also is a handy overnight location. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. The dog park is very well designed and executed. The pull through sites are very long and level. The pool is being renovated. The manager was thoughtful enough to warn us of this in a telephone call before we arrived. We camped at Gila Bend KOA (formerly Augie's Quail Trail RV Park) in a Motorhome.
