Overall Rating:

The park is located adjacent to the highway, so it's easy to access and there is some highway noise. Interior roads are easy to maneuver and the park employee escorted us to our site. The site was adaquate, level and the hook ups worked well. No wifi during our stay, the employee told us they were changing providers and the hardware was not installed yet. A local propane company offers on site service. He was there when we arrived and we took advantage of the convenience to top off the tank. ($2.79 gal, no additional fees). The propane at the truck stop by I40 was actually higher priced. There is a mix of seasonal, storage and daily RV sites. All are gravel base and level. Spacing between sites is average The community room has books, games and TV. (We were able to get 23 OTA TV channels too.) There is a small excercise room and a outdoor area with a grill. The laundry is next to the community room. It was clean and had 8 washers and dryers. We camped at Tradewinds RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Kingman is 20 min east and Bullhead City AZ/Laughlin NV is 20 min west. Sams club in Bullhead has diesel fuel and can be accessed by big RV's. If you want to avoid the white knuckle ride to Oatman, take the route from Fort Mojave just south of Bullhead. Great hike in Grapevive Canyon just past Laughlin. Easy walk to ancient petrographs.

Overall Rating:

The park is clean, well kept with friendly staff. Sites are spacious and level. Roads are easy to negotiate. The park is all gravel. There are some ornamental trees but no real shade. There are also storage facilities available. WiFi but dependent on number of people using it. Exercise food, group room and activities. Clean dog park. Surrounded by mountains so nice views but very windy which seems to be a feature of the area. We booked for 13 weeks and stayed 26. (Monthly rate was $285 plus electric) We camped at Tradewinds RV Park in a Motorhome.

Close to Bullhead City. Laughlin, Nevada only 30minutes away. Hoover Dam, Grand Canyon West with Skywalk, Oatman, Lake Havasu, Henderson and Vegas all within a day's drive. Kingman has 3 museums accessed with one ticket.

Overall Rating:

We stayed here for a week. The weekly rate is $165 +tax but we opted for the 50 amp service upcharge since it was forecast to be cold and we wanted to possibly run both heat pumps. That's $3 a day. Nothing fancy here but the spots are wide and long enough for most rigs with 15-20 feet between slides. The park is all gravel and the sections separated by areas with vintage tractors on display. Plenty of small trees but no shade. Hookups all worked well. Some traffic noise in the evening and morning but overnight not much at all. Very windy here. Laundry room was clean and mostly uncrowded. Showers and bathroom looked clean. Wifi was slow, as expected, but decent signal. Lot's of long term folks but the park is clean and well kept. Considering the location, $200 a week for 50 amp is a bit high but not outrageous. If you can get by on 30 amp, you'll save some money. Staff was friendly and helpful. We camped at Tradewinds RV Park in a Motorhome.

I've stayed at Tradewinds RV Park 3 times now. Each time the manager has been very friendly and helpful. The laundry is clean, the utilities work as they should. Passport America is honored for 3 nights....deal. Easy in/out of spaces plus good visibility onto the Hwy. I'll stay here again when in the area. We camped at Tradewinds RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

The drive from Laughlin to Golden Valley is beautiful although it does have some grades. It's double lane each way so no stacked up traffic...take your time and enjoy.

Overall Rating:

We actually stayed for 2 months. Park is in a valley between Kingman and Bullhead City, with Laughlin just across the river. Old Route 66 runs through Kingman and the entrance to Grand Canyon West is about 60 minutes north. It is cooler here by about 10 degrees. The park is really nice and everyone here is friendly, the office staff keep special treats for our 4 legged friends. No pool, but Colorado River and Lake Mohave are very close by. Nice recreation room and good laundry room. We'll be back this winter. It is windy at times but not too bad. We camped at Tradewinds RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Rate reflects passport America rate. We were in the area to visit friends and this was the closest park to their home. Our site was a pull-thru, full hookup site. Parking is on hard-packed gravel which was fairly level. Good Verizon signal and getting a satellite is no problem here. Good electrical and water pressure. We camped at Tradewinds RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very windy and cold. The WIFI is absolutely terrible. The two sisters from Wisconsin were awesome but the other lady talks to guests and her co workers like they are little kids. Very degrading. We camped at Tradewinds RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Very friendly staff, nice and quiet setting. Wi-Fi worked good enough to check email and light surfing. Had a good Verizon data signal so when I needed more we had it. Just a 2 night stay, but staff and campers I ran into were very friendly. Would stay again. We camped at Tradewinds RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

My husband and I have staayed here before on our way to Yuma. This park used to be very friendly. Now it seems that the new manager has the attitude that she is doing us a favor by letting us stay here. It is such a shame that the park has changed both management and attitude. We will stay in another local park from now on. Do not waste your time or money here. We camped at Tradewinds RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

All gravel, overnight pull-thrus were level, utilities were convenient and worked well. No cable but we got a good selection of over-the-air stations. Park is clean, laid out well, lots of cool old tractors and other antique equipment scattered about; staff on the phone and in the office are awesome-very friendly. Large clubhouse with tables, couches, TV. Walk thru the clubhouse and then into the laundry room (plenty of washers & dryers by the way) to get to one women's and one men's room, each with toilet/sink/shower and always very clean. Unfortunately the entire clubhouse/laundry/restrooms were only open 8am to 9pm which isn't as convenient for early risers. Close to the River (Bullhead City & Laughlin) to the west and Kingman in the east. Nice park for an overnight stop or longer. We camped at Tradewinds RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

We completed our first week of a one or two month stay. 50 amp power is excellent. The free Wi-Fi works great most of the time, and at times when there is a disruption, it is for a brief period of time. AT&T signal is 3-4 bars, and data/voice connection is excellent. This park is typical in a desert setting. The roads and sites are well packed gravel, which results in very little dust, even when cars are passing, which is surprising. The managers are outstanding and accommodating. They do an excellent job in maintaining this park. There are a variety of RVs, but none in bad condition, and sites are well maintained. This is just a nice park with great 360 degree views of the mountains. The rate is based on a summer special monthly rate of $150. This will definitely be our go to park when in this part of Arizona. If we didn't like to travel, we would stay the winter. The location has everything we need and more. It is relaxing and peaceful. This park can accommodate any size RV. We camped at Tradewinds RV Park in a Motorhome.

We got there at 8 PM, office was closed, but the assistant manager saw us drive up and went to greet us. He told us to pick a site and settle up in the morning at the office. He was very helpful an friendly. Our $15 price reflects our Passport America discount. Laundry room is modern and immaculately clean. Has over 6 dryers and over 6 washers. Men's and Lady's bathrooms with shower are immaculately clean and in very good shape. There is free coffee at the clubhouse. Club house has television set, sofa and seats for relaxing. Free billiard table, puzzle games available with reading books. Tables for card playing or eating. Lady at check in desk very friendly. It was a delight meeting the lady manager and assistant manager. Outside the clubhouse is an outdoor roofed area with a Bar B Que. We were there in the summer heat passing through and decided to stay two nights to relax. Felt very safe, there were no derelict rigs from permanent residents. The park looks very well kept up. We will come back again. The free Wi-Fi was available about 90 % of the time. Good signal when available. Nice décor around the park with tractors and hay bails placed around the park with scattered fire rings and seating. The restaurant next door at the front is not part of the park, and has been closed for about two years now. There are no benches and there is no swimming pool. The special summer rate was $150 for the month, generally it is $200 a month. I gave it an 8 because of how immaculately clean all the public facilities were and how well kept up the park looked. I complimented the manager on my way out. We camped at Tradewinds RV Park in a Motorhome.

This park checked most of the items on my list of what an acceptable RV park should have. Easy on and off from the highway. Not a lot of road noise at night. Quiet so I can sleep and not be awakened by outside noise. I thought it was strange that they charged me extra for 50 amp electrical service, but they did. This park was close to where I needed to be in Kingman and Fort Mohave. I didn't see the multi-page check in form mentioned by another reviewer. The form was only one page. Another park of mostly permanents. Some were clean and some were quite a mess. No one was friendly including the management. The "club house" was dark and uninviting and the television did not work. The only good thing about this park was the laundry room. Overall we found it quite depressing and will not return. We camped at Tradewinds RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
