Stayed here for a week. Beautiful setting bordering on a National Forest. Best rate was $10 with RPI discount, plus $3 per night resort fee, plus $3 per night for tow dolly. Wi-Fi spotty and you have to sign in at office for 30 minutes use per day. Our site had no problem with satellite service. All services worked great. Restrooms were clean and large toilet/changing area. Small but adequate shower stall. No fire rings at individual campsites. No wood fires allowed at campsites. If you want you can bring a gas fired pit. Major shopping 37 miles south in Payson at the Walmart. Pine has a store but limited and expensive. Would visit again. We camped at Clint's Well Resort in a Motorhome.
Tips for other Campers:
Shop ahead of time. 37 miles to Walmart. 2 small "stores" within 2 miles with limited supplies.

The rate includes a $5 resort fee added to the Coast to Coast rate of $10. The resort does not have any amenities. There is no clubhouse or swimming pool. There is no wi-fi. The resort fee should not be charged because they offer no amenities. It is remotely located so bring enough provisions for your stay unless you want to drive an hour or more. This is strictly a campground for people who want to be at a higher elevation and near the pine trees. There is little to do other than hiking. The sites are spacious and level and the hookups are good. Staff is friendly. We camped at Clint's Well Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
Tips for other Campers:
There is a small café and convenience store about a mile away. Flagstaff is about 65 miles north.

Restrooms, especially the showers, were clean but the showers were tiny. Wi-Fi is good, but limited to a small room behind the office. Sites were large and spacious. Rate quoted is for C2C. We camped at Clint's Well Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Quiet campground with shaded sites that back up into protected forest area. Area is well kept and clean. Staff is also very helpful. They offer a $6 BBQ for lunch on Saturdays and have a pot luck on Wednesdays. Elevation is 7,000 which makes it a good choice to escape the heat in Phoenix. It is a bit remote, so you will want to bring your fresh produce and meat with you. There is a small cafe with a service station and convenience store within a mile and they are also just a few miles from the Happy Jack Lodge, which also has a restaurant (open on the weekends) and a convenience store. We camped at Clint's Well Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
