The camp host is the rudest, most controlling CH I have ever dealt with. Terrible customer service. Campers are made to feel unwelcome. Bathroom is locked from 7AM to 7 PM. Not enough picnic tables. Wifi only available for 30 minutes per site. Drinkable water 15 cents a gallon. No fires allowed. We camped at Clint's Well Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Don't go if you need air conditioning. 30 amp and voltage drops to 106 VAC or lower. Can't run heaters in the AM or AC in the PM. It even states one electric heater is allowed. RVs are on a long row and the voltage drops to almost nothing. Went there to escape the heat wave in Cottonwood. Price is for RPI with a $4 fee for nonexistent amenities. If you have company, they have to walk to your site or you have to pick them up at the gate even though there are acres of parking. I'd stay again but not in a heat wave. It's just an OK place. We camped at Clint's Well Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Planned to stay for the summer and left after 1 night. If stay inside your camper with only 1 vehicle this is your kind of place. Everything is extra! Extra vehicle motorcycle or UTV is $5/night and cannot stay at your campsite but in a"storage area". All guests must register at office and walk to your site. No campfires only gas. Cell service spotty internet non existent. Dogs must be on leash at all times, and I mean "all" times, even though there is a wonderful grassy area begging for frisbee. The camp manager monitors the place like a "commandant". Speed limit is 5, if you are driving through at 6 mi per hour you will get yelled at!!! And don't let that camper tire get past the electric post even though there is ample room. My reccommendation is stay away. We camped at Clint's Well Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Good place very roomy. Easy access in and around site. Nicely located between several lakes. Lots to do in the area and at the campground. I'd recommend this campsite to anyone who wants to enjoy AZs forest, lakes, and cool weather! We camped at Clint's Well Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed here for a week. Beautiful setting bordering on a National Forest. Best rate was $10 with RPI discount, plus $3 per night resort fee, plus $3 per night for tow dolly. Wi-Fi spotty and you have to sign in at office for 30 minutes use per day. Our site had no problem with satellite service. All services worked great. Restrooms were clean and large toilet/changing area. Small but adequate shower stall. No fire rings at individual campsites. No wood fires allowed at campsites. If you want you can bring a gas fired pit. Major shopping 37 miles south in Payson at the Walmart. Pine has a store but limited and expensive. Would visit again. We camped at Clint's Well Resort in a Motorhome.

The rate includes a $5 resort fee added to the Coast to Coast rate of $10. The resort does not have any amenities. There is no clubhouse or swimming pool. There is no wi-fi. The resort fee should not be charged because they offer no amenities. It is remotely located so bring enough provisions for your stay unless you want to drive an hour or more. This is strictly a campground for people who want to be at a higher elevation and near the pine trees. There is little to do other than hiking. The sites are spacious and level and the hookups are good. Staff is friendly. We camped at Clint's Well Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We spent a month here in our Airstream. The location is beautiful, and there is a lot of hiking and scenic drives. It is a short drive to Pine/Strawberry, and a 45 min. drive to Payson. We enjoyed our stay here, but they don't allow a second vehicle to park on each site. We had to pay a fee to park our extra vehicle. The managers are a little over zealous in their micro-managing of the park. Don't expect a resort. This is a basic RV park. Don't count on the WIFI as use is restricted. We were able to get Channel 12 over the air. Many of the RV'ers spend all summer here. There are weekly activities, such as Card Bingo, other games and Potlucks. We would stay here again because we like the location. We camped at Clint's Well Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Restrooms, especially the showers, were clean but the showers were tiny. Wi-Fi is good, but limited to a small room behind the office. Sites were large and spacious. Rate quoted is for C2C. We camped at Clint's Well Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Quiet campground with shaded sites that back up into protected forest area. Area is well kept and clean. Staff is also very helpful. They offer a $6 BBQ for lunch on Saturdays and have a pot luck on Wednesdays. Elevation is 7,000 which makes it a good choice to escape the heat in Phoenix. It is a bit remote, so you will want to bring your fresh produce and meat with you. There is a small cafe with a service station and convenience store within a mile and they are also just a few miles from the Happy Jack Lodge, which also has a restaurant (open on the weekends) and a convenience store. We camped at Clint's Well Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
