Stayed in a 45 ft. motorhome. Long and narrow sites. Wifi is pretty good, Not much to do in Holbrook but very convenient to the Petrified Forest. Showers and bathrooms do not meet my standards for cleanliness. We camped at OK RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Very convenient to the Petrified Forest ... the only reason to stay at this campground.

Internal roads are paved/gravel, sites are fairly level and are very long, facilities worked well, site was satellite friendly. Staff were friendly, park WiFi worked very well with some hiccups, T-Mobile cell service was fair (Edge). The park was quiet. We would stay here again. We camped at OK RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Petrified Forest/Painted Desert NP and Winslow, AZ (Standin' on the corner park) are worth a trip.

Comments same as others. Sites are tight with slides and sign posts but sites are so (very) long, just pull forward until you get it right! Staff is friendly and park is well maintained. Roads throughout park are wide and easy to manage. Bathrooms are old but very clean. Close to Safeway for shopping and close to Painted Desert and Petrified Forest. WiFi was good and so was TV cable. Traveling in 31' Travel Trailer. Will stay here again when in area. Staff very friendly and helpful. We camped at OK RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Convenient to the I-40, this is a good place to stay overnight. We always stay in the 50 amp section, it's not quite as crowded as the 30 amp section. The spaces are narrow but very long and they alternate parking to provide plenty of room for any size rig. Park is very dog friendly. We camped at OK RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The surprising thing about this little town is the Mesa Italiano restaurant. A favorite of locals, it's located on business I-40 at the east end of town. They serve really good Italian food at reasonable prices. Also, there is a gas station just outside of the park that has easy access even when pulling a tow car.

When I walk into a business, I expect to be acknowledged by the customer service person. Apparently, that's not been communicated to the lady working in this office. She was on a personal phone call. She ignored me for several minutes, then attempted to help me while continuing to carry on her phone call. She did this the entire time she was registering me in. When a 2nd person walked in, she then told the person on the phone that she had 2 customers waiting and had to go. The sites are a mixture of gravel, sand, and dirt. They are long. They are buddy sites, but not bad because they are so long they have the RV's going in opposing directions to pull all the way forward. In this arrangement, you're not parked right next to your neighbor RV. There are several rather junky trailers near by, but they are separated by a fence. There was an breaker missing from our electrical box leaving electrical contacts exposed if someone poked something in the open hole. OK, I know, who would do that, but still it is a safety hazard. The WiFi actually worked fairly well most of the time. There were only a couple of times that I wasn't able to connect. There are picnic tables at the sites. Overall, this isn't a bad place to stop for the night or a couple of days to visit the Petrified Forest and Painted Desert. We camped at OK RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The Petrified Forest and Painted Desert are about 20 miles away. If you have time, check out Jim Gray's Petrified Wood Company located on highway 180 on the way to the south entrance of the park. There are many amazing pieces of petrified wood, furnishings, jewelry, pottery, fossils, and minerals for sale. OK Campground gives out coupons for a 1/2 pound (about 1" X 2" piece) of petrified wood free.

Nice large park at edge of town. Staff extremely helpful and courteous. Gravel pads are level and re-raked when people leave. RV repair place across the street. Good place to stay as a base to explore Winslow, Meteor Crater, Petrified Forest and Painted Desert NPs. We would come here again. We camped at OK RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Romo's is a good place for SW food.

This was our 4th stay at OK and the first in 3-years. We normally stop here on our annual trek from suburban Chicago to Mesa, AZ. The park is an old trailer park and is a mix of homes and transient RVs. It's a clean and quiet park and the sites are very, very long pull-thus making it easy to park with your toad or tow vehicle. There are sewer hookups every few feet, water, 20/30/50 amps at many sites (20/30 amp at the rest) and cable TV. For those that have satellite you have a clear view of the sky. The staff is friendly and helpful and there is free coffee and mini-muffins at the office in the morning.

The only issue we had this trip was electric. The first site we were given was dead electrically so we were moved to another 50-amp site. We camped at OK RV Park in a Motorhome.

This park is an okay stopover for a night or two, or to stay while visiting the Petrified Forest or Painted Desert. It's basically a parking lot with full hookups. (No camping ambience whatsoever.) The park has wide roads with long, easy pull through for big rigs. Like many desert RV parks, the entire park is dirt and gravel with a few small trees. Incessant winds pretty much filled everything with dust. (No way around that, but be prepared to deal with it.). AT&T cell service was adequate. Camp WIFI was pretty weak. Water pressure was adequate. The laundry was clean with decent machines, but the room itself has seen a lot of wear and tear. We camped at OK RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Easy drive to Painted Desert and Petrified Forest.

This is a great park for a short stay. The sites are gravel but more than long enough so you do not have to unhook if you don't want to. We camped at OK RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed at this park with a group. It has long, level sites with full hook-ups and plenty of room between sites. The staff is very friendly and escorts you to your site. The park is very easy to access from I-40, and although close to the interstate, the noise level was low. We would stay here again if in the area. We camped at OK RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

This is a good place to stay when visiting the Petrified Forest and Painted Desert National Parks.

Nice park with helpful staff. Long pull thru sites that were level. Hook-up's worked great and sewer connections were easy reach from coach as there were several to use. Easy in and out and close to I-40 but far enough away to not have noise. Many cable channels to pick from. Has WIFI but didn't use. We camped at OK RV Park in a Motorhome.

Good overnight campground in a desert setting. Sites are very narrow and long. The host requests that you park at alternating ends which work out fine. I was able to open my three slides with no problem. Level gravel sites and paved entry roads. I stayed here overnight and would return. We camped at OK RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Petrified Forest National Park nearby. It's a nice, interesting place to spend the day in cooler weather.
