Overall Rating:

Rate is for weekly with electric metered for each site at $.16 per kwh. Sites are level packed gravel. Excellent community building with full kitchen and big screen TV, games, book exchange. Used nearly daily for an activity. Wifi was too slow to be effective even though there were several boosters. OTA reception was only NBC. Office closes at 4:30 and any arrivals after that park at clubhouse and boondock until morning. Rarely saw any park personnel; manager spent time behind desk in office. 4 washers and 6 dryers worked well; limited area for folding however being next to clubhouse it was easy to fold clothes there. We camped at Quail Ridge RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Huachuca City has gas stations and Dollar General. Sierra Vista is 15-20 minutes and has plenty of places to shop - Walmart, Target, Dollar Tree, Bealls, PetSmart, to name a few. Tombstone and Bisbee are easy day trips. Tucson via Nogalles is a nice drive with stops at the missions at Tumacacori and San Xavier del Bac, Old Tucson Studio, and Saguaro National Park.

You cannot beat the rates and the Park is right on Hwy 82 near the 90 and 82 intersection. Easy to pull into with paved roads within the park. The Manager is great. Had a great experience with every staff member I interacted with. Showers had hot water, sites are all gravel but level. Had a good experience with the wifi as well. I would highly recommend. We camped at Quail Ridge RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

If you stay at this park and want to ATV in the area check out Apache ATV Tours. The owner is very nice and does great tours. On our last day we did a long tour with him and park management let us leave the RV there until we returned without any extra charge.

I had a reservation here and upon arriving I went into the office to check in. The gentleman asked "Can I help you?" I replied "I have a reservation", to which he replied "We're full, can't help you". I asked "what about my reservation?" and he replied "We're full, don't know what to tell you". Will not return. Well you can't beat the price that's for sure. Full hookups, wide, level gravel sites, lots of maneuvering room. No WiFi or cable - not a problem for us. No shade but it's the desert. The only thing that really detracts is the goatheads - they are all over to include graveled surfaces. We camped at Quail Ridge RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We originally planned on staying 4 days to a week. We've been here for over a month now! The park does not have a lot of amenities, but that's fine with us. They do have a club house, laundry and showers. Activities are planned during the winter months. The sites are large with plenty of pull-throughs. We camped at Quail Ridge RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Horrible service spoils the experience. Constant sewer odor problems. All the "grass" areas are not actually grass but sticker plants. Personnel in office can be pretty rude at times. This is NOT a "resort". There are 'some' positives: price is very low, restrooms are very clean. Never felt very welcome by the office. That really spoils things a LOT. Easy in and out from highway. Interior roads are wide gravel. Sites are also wide, long and gravel. We arrived on Labor Day and the office was closed but had called ahead and were met and directed to our site. When we checked in the next day, we weren't given any information about the park or nearby attractions. I was directed to the clubhouse for brochures. We tried the cable connection but couldn't get any channels and we couldn't find a wifi connection. Out AT&T hotspot worked well and since there aren't any high trees we used our satellite. Even without these amenities, we would probably stay here again if we ever get over this way again. The only really big negative for us was all the sandspurs in any nearby grass for walking the dog. On the day we left, we were told there is a dog walk at the far back of the park. We camped at Quail Ridge RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Great park with outstanding staff. We stop here to dump and do laundry. The manager and the work camper are very helpful and friendly. For less than 3 nights, electricity is $3 extra per night. Otherwise, they read a meter on the site. We camped at Quail Ridge RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Good Verizon 4G MiFi and acceptable TMo 4G. Lots of snowbirds this time of year and everyone seems friendly. Lots of activities but we didn't have time to partake.

Very friendly, gravel sites & driveway, clean. Laundry with four machines - clean and in good working order. We stayed here 12 nights and enjoyed this quiet campground. Location is about 4 miles from Huachuca City and another 9 miles to Sierra Vista which has all amenities, including the major restaurant chains, shopping, etc. that you will find in Tucson 60 miles away. We will definitely stay here again if in the area. We camped at Quail Ridge RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a level, clean, friendly park. Very spread out and separated into 3 different areas. One is excellent for a Rally of up to as many as 40 coaches. The Staff is great and the few permanent residents are all very friendly and have social events. It is a bit of a drive to anything (at least 20 min), but worth the mountain views all around and the quiet nights. We have been here a week now after coming for 2 days... I absolutely loved this park. They have staff on and off site and they were incredible. One handles the leasing and long term contracts for full timers like us looking for a more permanent home. I am very impressed with the way they answered every question. The park had over 300 sites and was well maintained. The bathrooms and showers were extremely clean and the laundry facilities are very nice. They have 2 clubhouses which is really nice. DirecTV in both and a pool table, too. It's more of a community feel and that is rare! We are definitely going back and probably going to stay at least a year! I highly recommend this park. Its a GEM! This is one of the better campgrounds we've experienced. We're not too concerned about amenities. We're looking for a place that has competent, friendly and helpful people, working site and clean bathrooms. The people we met at Quail Ridge were 10+. The fixtures (power pedestal, water spigot, sewer connection and level) were very good. The bathrooms fixtures were old but clean. There was no mold or other creepy things on the shower curtains, tile or grout and the water was hot and plentiful. We camped at Quail Ridge RV Resort in a Motorhome.

A nice clean park with basic services and a clubhouse. No pool or Wi-Fi so if your looking for a nice park with basics services, this is a good choice. Very nice management and grounds are well maintained. Prices are very good, and you pay for electric by either a meter read at end of stay or for $3 a day you get electric. We will stay here again. Overall Rating:

One of the best, if not, the "best" RV resort located in the Huachuca City / Sierra Vista, Arizona region. Attentive staff, spotlessly clean club house and restrooms. The park is safe and well kept. I only wish that more RV parks I have visited were managed as well as Quail Ridge RV Resort. I highly recommend this park for a short or long term stay.
