Quiet park surrounded by National Forest. Entrance via a Forest Service Road is rough - go slowly! Escort to site; friendly staff. Some sites very tight - we lucked out and got a roomy one. My dogs loved the Pet Walk trail in the forest - we even saw a Kaibab Squirrel. Lovely drive to the Grand Canyon North Rim. We would stay here again. We camped at Kaibab CampeRVillage in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice CG in the pine trees. The entrance road is about a mile and a gravel road. Inside CG roads and sites are gravel. We were fortunate that our rooftop dish worked through the trees. 30 amp, water, and sewer all worked. Pull-through was not level and short but we were able to park our truck at the back of our the pull-through row. The sites were narrow in this row. Our Verizon cell phone and hotspot worked. Quiet CG, we liked it. We camped at Kaibab CampeRVillage in a Fifth Wheel.

The site was clean, level and long enough. We were in 42' motor home pulling a 12' trailer. The turns in the park were a little tight but manageable. The campfire areas were shared and we enjoyed meeting nice folks when we brought out guitars. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They informed us, when we arrived, that there was some kind of restriction that prohibited the sewer line from being on the ground and offered to loan us a raised rack. They were informed about all the area attractions and happy to answer questions. As the only full hookup RV campground on the North Rim, they did a great job. We camped at Kaibab CampeRVillage in a Motorhome.

We had no problem leveling our trailer. The pines everywhere are wonderful. Easy to get in and out of the pull-through sites. Decent space between sites. It has everything we need. But it doesn't have Wi-Fi or TV. But you don't come to the North Rim for that anyway. We camped at Kaibab CampeRVillage in a Travel Trailer.

This is the closest RV park with full hookups to the north rim of Grand Canyon National Park, but 40 miles from the park entrance. Sites and roads are sand/gravel and could be more level. Great pine trees and good shade. Sites are good size, staff is friendly and helpful. Toilets are Porta-Potty chemical toilets and are very clean. We had no problem with electric, water and sewer hookups. Park is within a national forest but is privately owned. No cable, no off-air reception, and sat. may be iffy due to the trees. We would definitely stay here again if visiting the north rim. We camped at Kaibab CampeRVillage in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here four days and would stay again. The sites were level 30-40 years ago but require some imagination now to get level. Only campground I've used where my converter kept kicking on and off, don't know what was going on with the electrical power. The laundry was one working washer and two dryers down the hill from the campground. Might be adequate for a hand full of items and a short hike. Nice friendly helpful camp hosts who made the stay nice. We camped at Kaibab CampeRVillage in a Fifth Wheel.

This was really the only full hook up location for access to the North Rim, about 40 miles away but it is a lovely drive. Nice location away from the highway with a short drive on a dirt road. The campground is simple dirt lots with lots of trees around the perimeter. Very friendly staff. Very quiet. If we ever return to the North Rim we would stay here again. We camped at Kaibab CampeRVillage in a Motorhome.

Low score is mainly for very poor electrical system. Never got above 110 volts, kept dropping to 101-102 volts and tripping my surge protector (every 2-3 hours). When I first checked in, I had the manager check my pedestal and confirm the voltage (110V at that time). No way I could have run the air conditioner, so was lucky we didn't need it. Also it seemed like management never tried to enforce the quiet hours (yelling kids made it more of a playground than campground). Park location is a 1-hour drive to the North Rim. Some sites need a lot of help with leveling. Cookies at the Jacob Lake Inn really are good. We camped at Kaibab CampeRVillage in a Travel Trailer.

We had an exterior back-in site right next to the forest. Gorgeous tall pine trees throughout the camp. Staff escorted us to a site and assisted with back in. Gravel base for roads and sites are in good condition. WiFi is iffy, Verizon had good signal (3 bars), and no problem with calls or internet. Only negative item is the half mile drive from AZ Hwy 67 to the camp entrance on a forest service road. Good gravel road but you need to go very slow to avoid rock damage. We would definitely camp here again. We camped at Kaibab CampeRVillage in a Travel Trailer.

The park is gravel roads and gravel sites. Some sites need leveling. Mine did not. There are lots of trees for shade. We did not have any problems with utilities as some have mentioned. I asked about those problems, and park personnel said sometimes those problems occur when the park is full. Some of the wiring is old, and they are redoing the wiring a section at a time. Where the water and showers are concerned, we just used our shower and bathroom. They did not say anything about our use of water. The park is closed from mid Oct to some time in March or April. We stayed 5 days and enjoyed every day. We camped at Kaibab CampeRVillage in a Fifth Wheel.

Beautiful park. Friendly hosts. Near sights. We will stay again. Gravel with plenty of room to back in. Restrooms are portable, I think due to lack of water. (sign saying water is hard to find). Some noise from passing trains. We camped at Kaibab CampeRVillage in a Fifth Wheel.

Beautiful location with quiet and cool temps compared to much of the rest of AZ, and only about 1/3 full at peak season. An hours drive to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. Lots of pines and shade. Toilets are chemical outhouses. Showers are $2.25 for five minutes, with a sign that says to let the water run for a minute before getting in, then to add quarters to gain an additional "2/3 minute". Hmmm. Stalls were cleanish with some mildew evident. Nearby Visitors Center for Jacob Lake and lodge/restaurant/gift shop had good info about the area and the canyon. Food there was average; staff helpful and friendly. We camped at Kaibab CampeRVillage in a Motorhome.

This is a fully acceptable option for a full hook up site close (still 45 miles) to the north rim. The comments about some sites being tight or somewhat challenging to level (generally front to back) are valid but keep in mind you are staying in the middle of a national forest not a 5 star resort. We had no problem with water pressure, though it was somewhat low one day. Again that is why you have a fresh water tank and a pump. No problem with electric, as one reviewer reported. We were here 4 days while visiting the north rim and would stay here again. We camped at Kaibab CampeRVillage in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice shaded spot. We only used electric and sewer as water is trucked in and they advise there could be odd smell due to chemicals added. Perfect spot to stay for the night on our return to Phoenix from Yellowstone. We plan on staying here again when making a visit to the north rim. We camped at Kaibab CampeRVillage in a Motorhome.

This is the closest campground to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon but it is still quite a drive. Sites not very level, no internet other than the phone. Lots of trees and wonderful areas to walk the dog. Only port a potties but they use chemicals so it isn't too bad. They charge for showers and laundry is kind of expensive but water is a premium up there. I would not want to show up at night here...very challenging backing into a lot of the sites. Pull thrus are used for the biggest RV's and fifth wheels. The staff is very helpful though assisting the process. Only one store/restaurant/gas station in the "town. We camped at Kaibab CampeRVillage in a Motorhome.
