This is a basic park but it is spotlessly clean with a big clubhouse that anyone can use. Internet was the best of anyplace we have stayed. Fast enough for streaming unless the Park was full. We stayed here four months as we explored the area. No cell service. Close to Zion, Bryce Canyon, and the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. Great price and half that if you have Passport America. Staff at the park were responsive to any problems and made repairs quickly. The park is on top of a hill with great views all around. The night skies were gorgeous. The campground is Dark Sky certified. We camped at Kaibab Paiute Band Tribal Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Kanab Utah is the closest shopping with lots of tour companies. Went to Peekaboo Canyon with Windows on the West Hummer Tours. You can hire a native guide if you want to hike in the reservation. Trail beside the park leads to great views north or to convenience store to the south.

What an amazing find! This park is in the middle of nowhere but that's what makes it great...beautiful, quiet, friendly people, and absolutely spotless! Pipe Springs National Monument is next door and worth an hour. North Rim of the Grand Canyon about an hour away. We camped at Kaibab Paiute Band Tribal Campground in a Motorhome.

Office closed early. Had to drive back down to Chevron to register and deal with a very rude & surly young lady. Mumbled something like "RV or (unintelligible). I said we have a truck camper. She sighed loudly, rolled her eyes, and in a VERY loud voice said "RV OR TENT". I answered in an even louder voice "RV" with a glare. She seemed to get the message and was slightly less surly, but I was already soured on the place. No excuse for that sort of so-called "customer service"! Many sites were marked "closed" for no apparent reason. Sites close, but I've seen worse. Reasonably level. Electricity working well despite it being in the high 90s. Didn't bother with water hookup but all looks ok. Main bldg looks nice but too hot and windy to bother going over to check it out. No picnic tables and no shade. Good wifi though, and grounds are clean. Not nearly as impressed as many of the prior posters, but at $25 FHU it's still a good value. Would probably stay again despite some drawbacks. We camped at Kaibab Paiute Band Tribal Campground in a Truck Camper.

This is a very nice park. Gravel lots and drive. Very spacious clean and groomed. Lots face East for morning Sunrise. The best thing is the quietness and at night there is soooooo many stars to view, and the Milky way. I will come back. Very relaxing area/park. Overall Rating:

New clean and easy to locate.

The sites are pretty much level. And large enough to accommodate a big rig. There are plenty of tent sites and a large lush grass common ground for your pets. It's just a bit on the windy side because of the elevation

The views were beautiful and the night sky was full of stars. We camped at Kaibab Paiute Band Tribal Campground in a Motorhome.

Before I say anything about the perfect location of this RV park, I must first say what an incredible value this park is: first off, the normal rate is an incredible $25 for a flat gravel, full hook-up, pull-through site. However, if you have Passport America, your nightly rate is $12.50! If that isn't enough to entice you to stay here, you will NOT find a nicer staff! We have traveled around to all of the lower 48 States and have met some wonderful park staff, but this staff, as a whole, was the kindest staff we have met to date. The facilities at this park are also very nice. The showers, bathroom and laundry were very clean and easy to access and use. There is a great TV room with a big screen TV with Direct TV, a ping-pong table and board games (which we enjoyed while doing laundry - $1.50 for wash and $1.50 dry). The RV park is located within a 5 minute walk of Pipe Spring National Monument. In addition to being so close to Pipe Spring NM, this park is also located less than 2 hours from Page, AZ (to visit Horseshoe Bend, Antelope Canyon, Glen Canyon Recreation Area and Lake Powell), the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, Zion National Park, Bryce National Park, and 3 hours from Las Vegas. We camped at Kaibab Paiute Band Tribal Campground in a Motorhome.

This is a wonderful campground sitting up on a hill with a beautiful view of the plain all around you. It has recently been updated so the trees are not grown yet but they have fire pits and tables and if there's not one at your site you can request one. They have a huge covered pavilion where you can have family reunions if you so desire. It's a good location to so many things around you. We spent three weeks here and did most of the major things but a lot of things were left till next time. This part of the country is amazing. You can get to Zion, Bryce, North Rim, Lake Powell and so much more. We camped at Kaibab Paiute Band Tribal Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Juniper Ridge in Fredonia is a really good restaurant. It's still evolving but food is very good. We also liked Sego in Kanab. Sharing style of eating sort of like tapas.

Newly renovated. Large sites, all pull through. Hardly ever anyone there to check you in so you have to drive back to the convenience store. Very clean restrooms, laundry and TV room. Not too busy ever. NO phone service or TV signal but good free WIFI. Walking distance to Pipe Springs NM. Could use a few more trees. Gorgeous views across the prairie with red rock to the side. Nice, hard packed trail for walking or biking to the store/gas station, to the Visitor's Center or along the red rock into the village. Full-hookup sites are very roomy, although not level. Price for laundry is $1.75 and machines did a great job. So many points of interest can be accessed: Zion National Park, North Rim Grand Canyon, Coral Pink Sands, Staircase National Monument and Pipe Springs National Monument. Star gazing is terrific as is the quiet. Heard coyotes every evening and loved it. WiFi was reliable. I plan on staying again! We camped at Kaibab Paiute Band Tribal Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a hidden gem! About 1/2 mile from the hwy, about 1/4th mile from Pipe Spring National Monument. We visited the Grand Canyon, Zion's National Park, Bryce Canyon, Vermillion Cliffs, Cliff Dwellers, Pipe Spring, Jacob's Lake and could have stayed a month and not seen everything! Amazingly clean, super nice staff, and quaint clubhouse with games, kitchen, showers, laundry, TV, and nice sitting area. We will be back! When we arrived there was someone outside cleaning up the campground of some basic litter and trash. They addressed us and made us feel right at home. Later as we were walking around that same person gave us a tour of the clubhouse and gave us some good tips like where the national monument is (Pipe Spring) (only 1/4 of a mile away), and other attractions in the area. We will stay here every time we come through, all the other campgrounds in the area are twice as expensive. We camped at Kaibab Paiute Band Tribal Campground in a Travel Trailer.
