Overall Rating:

This is a neat, clean, rustic campground 15-16 miles east of Kingman on I-40. Both back-ins and pull-thru sites are available. The sites are very spacious (wide and long), level, with a gravel base. Interior roads, too are gravel and plenty wide, so navigating, even with the biggest of rigs is very easy. The campground sits about 1/2 mile off I-40 at Exit 66...far enough away that road noise from the very busy freeway is minimal. And it's far enough away from the nearby truck stop to keep that noise at bay. Friendly staff made check-in quick and easy. If we were 'horse people' this might be more of a destination stop, but in any event it's a very good overnight or short stay stop. It's often a 'go-to' stop on our annual snowbird trips back and forth from the Pacific Northwest. We camped at Blake Ranch RV Park & Horse Motel in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Unless you're there for the horses, there really isn't any activities in the campground. For interesting things to see and do, you'll need to travel 15 miles (west) to Kingman itself. Although there is a restaurant at the truck stop just down the hill from the campground. We've not eaten there, so can't pass along any info about the place.

Overall Rating:

This is a nice RV park ~ 15 miles east of Kingman AZ, with easy access off Interstate 40. Road noise depends on the wind direction. The park uses very bright parking lot lights at night. Fortunately they turn them off at 10pm. We have stayed here on several occasions in the past when we were passing through the Kingman area. The park was a real bargain, charging under $30/night, up until new management took over in 2016. Once in Sep 2105 we arrived without reservation. The park was full, but we offered the use of their very large parking lot to dry camp for free! That night there were five or six of use using the parking lot. Saved us from having to camp at the Petro Truck stop just down the road. We camped at Blake Ranch RV Park & Horse Motel in a Motorhome.

We stayed here for one night but have stayed longer three other times in the past couple of years. Wide, long and fairly level sites with easy in and out. Can't comment on the restrooms as we have never used them. This is a dog friendly park with two large enclosed area's for 'off leash'. Propane and dump station on site and a truck stop conveniently located at the entrance to the freeway. Shopping and interesting museums is approximately 10 miles south on I40 in Kingman. Verizon and Wifi were good. We will stay here again when passing through. We camped at Blake Ranch RV Park & Horse Motel in a Motorhome.

Goods and bads to this campground. The goods-nice size sites, easy to get to from Route 40. Clean sites that were nicely laid out. Bads-I realize that campgrounds always say they have internet, even when it's sucky, but this internet was awful. Kept knocking me off, even with simple-"just checking email" stuff. And, there were about six, snowy, hard to hear television stations. We camped at Blake Ranch RV Park & Horse Motel in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Surprisingly a very nice pull off of I40 spot. Lots were level, staff was courteous and the view of the mountains was great. Fairly quiet even though it is just off the highway. Picnic tables are pretty cute as they are not as big as a normal picnic table, but very sufficient! The grounds are very clean and well kept. Would definately stay here again and stay a bit longer to enjoy Kingman. We camped at Blake Ranch RV Park & Horse Motel in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a good overnight stop for I-40 travelers, close but not uncomfortably close to exit 66 and a truck stop with accessible Shell gasoline pumps and a well-provisioned convenience store. The sites are roomy and clean, but everything is gravel and some leveling will likely be required. We camped at Blake Ranch RV Park & Horse Motel in a Travel Trailer.

We just stopped for the night. The man in the cart was friendly, office staff not so much. Quite aways south of Kingman so stop before going all the way into town. Sites are loosely designated but the primitiveness of the place is kind of nice. We camped at Blake Ranch RV Park & Horse Motel in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice level site. Haven't checked everything out yet. Just want to let anyone headed this way that there is only one way into the park. Perpendicular to the freeway. Probably easy normally but now there is construction on the road and signs that say "no trucks." Looked for an alternative and ended up on miles of washboard dirt roads. Don't do it. Go down the "construction" road directly in to the park. I sure wish someone would have told us about this when we called!

Easy access, nice pull-thru. Just took an adventure to finally arrive. We camped at Blake Ranch RV Park & Horse Motel in a Fifth Wheel.

This is not a destination RV park but rather an excellent stopover. We stayed a week...utilities were good, great laundry, dog runs, horse stalls, big rig pull thrus, and free lemons, propane and nice staff. We would use park again. We camped at Blake Ranch RV Park & Horse Motel in a Fifth Wheel.

Kingman, historic, has 3 museums worth touring. A theme diner and Floyd's for BBQ. Rte 66 can go east or west (Seligman, etc) was fun. Lots of modern shopping options in new Kingman.

Really liked this place! It is just off of I-40, 15 miles east of Kingman. Paved roads & gravel, spacious lots. Extremely well-kept park & staff was very friendly. Even though it's close to the interstate, it was quiet & out-of-the way nice! We will definitely stay here again. We camped at Blake Ranch RV Park & Horse Motel in a Motorhome.

Great over night stop with long gravel pull thru. Coach parking was level but tow was on a slight hill. Good utilities, satellite reception and Verizon cell. WiFi was good.
