Perfect park for an overnight stay. Staff very friendly. Too bad they didn't offer a discount. Would stay here again. We camped at Fort Beale RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We have stayed a couple of times at this park and like it very much. Very easy access to the park's entrance and close to I-40 and yet very little traffic noise. This is a fairly small park with an outer perimeter of back in spaces and a middle a row of pull thrus that are for the over night crowd. The perimeter spaces seem to be mostly for permanent or longer stay residents. Very nice manager and friendly folks in the park itself. We called ahead the same day and were lucky to get the last open pull thru at the end of the row. It happens to be the best space in the park with regards to views and no neighbors on the view side. We will definitely stay here next time our travels take us thru Kingman and decide to lay over there. All hookups worked great, good water pressure and no trees to spoil reception to a satellite dish equipped RV. Just a very nice all around RV park that takes pride in its cleanliness and hospitality, and that values it's short term guests. We also felt safe here which nowadays seems to be a welcome feeling to have when staying in an RV overnight. We camped at Fort Beale RV Park in a Motorhome.

Within a short walking distance to a small but very good Mexican cafe and a Carl's Jr. Markets and other stores also very close by. Getting off and on I-40 west or east very easy and quick.

Not for dogs. Small fenced dirt patch for poop and pee. Did direct us to the city dog park that was very nice and not too far from us. It had a small dog (under 30 lbs.) and large dog park. Both huge with benches and water. Also this park slants downward so it was hard to level. Nice pool. Friendly. Close to food. We camped at Fort Beale RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Date of Stay: November, 2016 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This park is small but super neat and clean. Interior roads are paved with flat concrete edging. Pull through spaces are 30 by 65 and straight in parking (not angled) but we were able to negotiate it with our motor home and toad. Bathrooms, showers, pool etc were super clean and VERY nice. Pride of ownership shows in every aspect of the park. It is located near to I-40 but we were not bothered by traffic noise. The exits off of I-40 were very busy but manageable. I had gotten specific directions for accessing the park when I called ahead of time. It was a good idea as the street (Metcalfe) was a little tricky to see if you did not know where it was and we were directed to turn between the Carl's Jr and the Chevron station. Made is a breeze. We stayed here two nights and enjoyed it. We would stay again. We camped at Fort Beale RV Park in a Motorhome.

Convenient to the interstate but noise was not too bad. Plenty of room between sites but they are not angled, so some loss of privacy. Park is on somewhat of a grade so some leveling is required but not enough to necessitate unhitching from tow vehicle. All utilities functioned well. Small trees between sites. The dog park is so small as to be practically useless. Lots of long term residents, but sites are neat and well kept. This was perfectly fine for our overnight requirements, but I probably wouldn't want to stay here for an extended period. We camped at Fort Beale RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice enough park. Convenient to I-40 and historic Kingman. Does seem to be quite a few long-term residents, but still clean and quiet. Some noise from I-40, but not bad.

Check-in was a hassle, as it would not accept any credit card ("no dial tone"), so had to pay cash. Wi-Fi was very weak, slow and intermittent. Very frustrating.

Dog "park" is small and totally gravel and without a trash can, although dumpster was not too far. We camped at Fort Beale RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Quite a few places to eat within walking distance.

When coming off of I-40 W/B, make sure to take SECOND left for park after exiting ramp. On ramp and Metcalfe are extremely close and you wind up back on I-40 E/B.

This is a small, well maintained RV park. It has gravel sites, which is to be expected in this part of the country, but it is very neat. There is a little noise from I-40 but not bad. It's a good location to the tourist spots in town, as well to I-40. They have a small pool which was appreciated since it was so hot and also a small off leash dog area, which my dog liked. The sites were quite wide, which was nice since so many parks just cram you in. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Utilities were good and the site was level. Verizon cell and air card were good. We were here a couple nights and enjoyed our stay. We would stay again. We camped at Fort Beale RV Park in a Motorhome.

Check out the Route 66 museum in town and the train park across the street. Some fun stuff in there. And definitely check out the Route 66 diner for their milkshakes. Delicious!

This was a one night stop over for us and based upon what we saw we would definitely stay here again. Easy access from and to I-40 and amazingly enough very quiet at night even with the close proximity to I-40. Hosts were helpful in getting us checked in quickly and said that if we needed anything to just ask. Very clean park even though there were quite a few permanent residents. About the only area we were not happy with was that this park is built on a hillside and levelling was not easy due to the sideways down slope. Fortunately our site was down at the far end of that down slope where the sites were a bit more level. Nothing that a few adjustments with the auto levelling system couldn't take care of but it did lift the front driver's side wheel off the ground and I had to settle for doing the levelling manually and be satisfied with a very slight lean to that side as I did not feel like "going thru the blocks" that evening after a long day's drive. Pretty typical one nighter type of park but a nice one and worth a stay if you are traveling thru Kingman on the way to your final destination................ We camped at Fort Beale RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

There is a Carl's Jr. directly across from the entrance plus a small Mexican cafe just a few hundred feet down the street and certainly within walking distance. We didn't eat there but have been told by others that have that it is really good. The big thing we feel this park has going for it is the close proximity to the interstate and yet has little to no traffic noise at night......................

This is a wonderful little park that is well-maintained. The couple who run the park are as nice as can be. We stayed one night and were so comfortable. I read reviews that said the sites are not level, but our's was very close to level, and other's appeared to be as well. The sites are very wide, and everything is incredibly clean. We will stay here again, and I would recommend this park to others. We camped at Fort Beale RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This park is very clean and the owner is friendly and willing to help. The dog run could be larger, not much room for large breeds. Residents were friendly and we'll stay here again. We camped at Fort Beale RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Very pleasant and helpful staff. Small park shaped like a horseshoe with the permies around the perimeter and all the transient spaces are drivethrough down the middle. These spaces were well mailtained, with clean and raked pea gravel. The spaces were some of the widest I have ever seen and were long enough to stay hooked up with a 30' fifth wheel with room to spare. The permanent resident units were all well maintained and didnt have any of the usual clutter. Nice pool helps with the notorious Kingman summer heat. TV had lots of clear channels and the wifi was strong and fast enough for Pandora. Only downside is that the sites could all use more shade or I would have given this place a 10. We camped at Fort Beale RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

The woman who checked us in couldn't have been nicer. She made sure we had information about local attractions. The restrooms were extremely clean. It is easy-in, easy-out. The sites are all flat and well-kept, although ours was a little off-level from side to side. A very good experience; we would not hesitate to come back. Really glad we found this small park. Easy in and out. Very quick check-in, and the lady at the counter was super nice. Site was actually quite roomy and was easy to enter. Restrooms were very clean and had big showers. Cable TV and Wi-Fi worked fine. The park is close to the highway but was very quiet. I don't have anything bad to say about this park and we will definitely stay here again. We camped at Fort Beale RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Not level due to the park being on a hill, but nothing that was difficult to get level. Good utilities, well placed. Extra wide pull-thrus. Laundry room was clean. The rules stated that only rvs no more than 10 years old were allowed but there were several permanent rvs older than that. No one asked us the age of ours. Staff was very helpful and polite. We would stay here again. We camped at Fort Beale RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a small but very clean and well managed park. Our check in was fast and friendly. The sites are very wide and our pull-thru worked well for our 40 ft. coach. All services worked well. We stayed for 3 days to explore the area. The park is located just off I-40 and the highway noise is not noticeable. I recommend this park and will stay here again when in the area.
