Overall Rating:

This is one of the nicest, funnest RV parks we're fortunate enough to stay in, anywhere! Check-in with a reservation is efficient and friendly. There can be no vacancies. There is a small store. The facility is meticulously clean and neat with lovely views of the desert and the lake / river. The resort is on a man-made island accessed by "London Bridge" Great areas close for walking, biking, boating, fishing, just being a desert rat. The bathrooms and showers are numerous and meticulously attended to. SiriusXm Music all tile, upscale. There are many park models, RV sites have enough room for Coach, TV or Toad plus boat or side by side. Fires in ring permitted. Nice pool. Boat ramp. Storage. The courteous staff security is really on top of every aspect of keeping this RV park proper, safe and private. Pet area / run is attended daily and has bags and disposal bin. Summer and winter the Islander takes on a slightly different complexion but always well managed, fun but not out of control. We camped at Islander RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

There are many things to do in the region as well as an assortment of fine eateries and happy hours for every taste. Great place to relax yr. round Filtered RO water dispenser located by office. Yes, water is very hard in this region. There is only one dumpster near entrance.

The resort is geared toward longer stays, we were here for 2 months. There are many park models, but everything is very nice, orderly and well kept. Decent dog area for them to use for "business". Great people in this park - both the guests and the people that work here. We camped at Islander RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

We stayed for 2 months in a motorhome. This is by far the best park in the area. The sites are huge and you are well spaced from your neighbours. The facilities were immaculate and well maintained. The pool is in a beautiful setting overlooking the lake. There are a lot of rules re visitors etc, but it shows in the high overall standard of the resort.

The staff deserve a special mention, as they bent over backwards to ensure their guests were happy. Wifi was disappointing as you were limited to 60 mins/day per device. We ended up purchasing service from a local company, Wirefree.

We would stay here again. We camped at Islander RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $82.00
Overall Rating:

In our three years of travelling, this is the most we've ever paid for a campsite, so expectations were high, and we were not disappointed. Our site (Site 500) is considered a premium site, and in the future, we would select a less expensive site at Islander. We did not have a view of the lake except when driving to our site. The site was plenty spacious in both length and width. Concrete pad although, surprisingly, not as level side-to-side as you would expect (we had one tire off the ground when our system automatically levelled). Islander is considered a "resort," and I think they've earned the right call it a resort. The boat launch, swimming pool, bath/shower houses, general store and staff are very nice. There is good security....every vehicle has to check in at a security gate. There are lots of rules, but nothing too unreasonable. One rule we didn't like was that each site is limited to four visitors at a time (not counting us). That was a problem because we had family coming to Lake Havasu, and we couldn't visit at our campsite because we would be 4 people over the limit. I understand why they need this rule, but I wish it were more flexible. The daily visitor fee is reasonable. Cell service was ok, but there's no cable and we could not connect to Wifi. Lots of construction noise at 7am because they were building new permanent park models in our section. (Many park models line the road in this section.) For future visits, there are a couple of other campsites I may try that seem to have better views of Lake Havasu and may be a little less expensive, but I would not rule out staying here again. We camped at Islander RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice large sites. Very nice biking area. We could ride a nice trail around the island and bike into town for lunch or dinner. Wonderful trail to walk along the shore of the lake also. We camped at Islander RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: December, 2015 - $54.00
Overall Rating:

The actual rate including taxes worked out to be approximately $63 per night for an average pull through site. So, for a 12 night stay it was over $750. There was no weekly rate offered. Size wise, site was spacious enough, rock with a concrete slab patio clean area.

As far as wifi goes, there is 24 hour availability around office area, which includes a laundry room and library. But, at site you are limited to one hour per device. We did not have any problems with it, and actually getting used to the one hour limit was hard at first, but turned out to be fine.
There is no cable tv in the park, but we were able to rely on our antenna.
The one odd thing I found was in a park with so many spaces, there is only one garbage, which is located at the check in area. We camped at Islander RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Some sites are right on shore of the lake, which would be great, but most were taken, and of course more expensive.

Great bike trail (about 3 miles in length) across from park, goes one way (walkers go opposite way) all around island and just a short distance to London Bridge and surrounding shops and restaurants.

We have come here for years; the only park in Havasu that we like. Senior and family oriented park. Many, many rules, but we like it. High security & gated. No riffraff. Fabulous location. Quiet hours are strictly enforced except for major holidays (which is fine). WiFi available in the library and around the clubhouse. Verizon works fine, so we used our hotspot at our site. Extremely easy to navigate the park in big rigs. Worth the money. We camped at Islander RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Far and away one of the nicest parks we've visited. You cross London Bridge to get here, which is cool.

Excellent location and family-oriented. Not at all a party-style park, which is good for us because we visited during Spring Break. Park is very safe, and though pretty full obviously has a lot of respectful visitors and a number of permanent or near-permanent residents. Kids safe to walk or ride bikes alone. Bathrooms rival what you'd find in high end hotel; granite and beautiful tile. Pool and spa area is spectacular. Laundry room was very clean. In fact, everywhere was clean, and I mean Disneyland clean.

They have boat launch as well if you've a boat. They don't rent watercraft but we did that in the city near London Bridge.

For a visit during springtime this park was awesome. We'd definitely return though it was expensive. If it were 10-20 dollars less per night it'd be a spectacular bargain. As it is, though it's worth it, it is pricey. We camped at Islander RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

There's a really nice IHOP nearby; I bought a to go breakfast one morning and enjoyed it at the park. Also ate at the Barley Bros brewery which was really good food. You can rent watercraft, paddle boards, etc., near London Bridge. I highly recommend walking around that area, fun for adults to see the bridge and for kids as well.

We stayed here for 2 weeks. The campground location is ideal for all the things Lake Havasu City has to offer. It is close to London Bridge, restaurants, grocery stores and shopping. The sites are large enough to park a tow vehicle and a boat. The pool is nice. We were not able to connect to wifi from our motorhome. I went to the library to use the wifi. The craft room and rec room are locked from April to October and require permission from staff to use. I was told these rooms are for use by members of the Snowbirder's Association. The rec room is more like a banquet room (no tv, pool table, or lounge area). This campground appears to be the nicest in Lake Havasu City, but for the price I will not be returning to the area. We camped at Islander RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We stayed the first week of February in a premium spot that was directly across from water access. The park was very clean and secure. The office and pool area were very nice. Our back in spot was very wide and had a large concrete patio. Most of the residents were long term snowbirds that had been returning for several years. The weather was nearly perfect during our stay. Lake Havasu City is a nice size offering many things to do. We plan to return for at least a month next year. We camped at Islander RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Stayed 5 nights. Immaculate and staff very helpful. Got a spot with partial lake view, very nice. Noise not an issue for us, very quiet. Maybe in the summer would be different. Beats the heck out of others in the area. Everything clean and no junkers in this park. We camped at Islander RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Rate includes taxes for lakefront site, loud boats from 7am loud bikes from 7pm, loud gas golf carts flying about all day and night. Sites have old picnic table no cable tv and no useable internet. The views are amazing and the place could be fantastic but long term residents have turned the place into spring break central for people old enough to know better. Will not return.
