We did not stay here after looking at the park. The road in/out is narrow, steep, and crumbling. Although there are big rigs in there I wonder how they got there and more- how they'll get out. The café is now closed. Maybe an RV park (not resort) in 50's on Route 66 and that's where they left it; mostly unkempt permanent trailers with trash. We camped at Sandpoint Marina & RV Park in a Motorhome.

We enjoyed our stay here yet did not fully understand their billing ideas. But was good for the price. Peaceful at night yet a little noisy during the day. We would stay there again if in the area. Great scenery to check out. We had to kind of figure everything out on our own but we got the job done. We camped at Sandpoint Marina & RV Park in a Motorhome.

The sites are close to each other but I was able to squeeze my 30 foot travel trailer in with no problems. Anything bigger might have problems, there are vehicles parked all over the place. On either side of my site, there were boats on trailers and one across the road so I had only one way in and out. Under the right (worst) circumstances, I might not have had enough room. The park is quiet and friendly, although a bit run down. The dump station looked like someone did, right on the ground. Smell was apparent when walking by. Without cable and Wi-Fi the price seemed a bit high to me. It was OK for an overnight but not sure if I'd stay here long term. We camped at Sandpoint Marina & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This is an old, run-down park with extremely tight spaces. Be prepared to pay extra for everything, including a $5.80 per day charge for air conditioning, whether you use it or not, and an $8.00 charge for your tow car. This park will nickel and dime you for charges that are normally included in the overnight rate. Very overpriced park, but can't complain about the water view, it is beautiful. We would only return here for the view. We camped at Sandpoint Marina & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Excellent location on the Colo. River, Lake Havasu. Family friendly. Remarkably clean restrooms/showers. Very, very friendly staff. Only glitch was that the staff apparently unaware that Wi-Fi is available in "the View" bar/food area. Barbecues on site serve as fire pit very nicely. Shade is available from the small trees and the patio covers. Park is old, and some parts are run down, but not that bad. Very picturesque area, small but nice beach. Water was very cold, but it's only April. Very good hiking nearby, so you get to experience the water, mountain & desert regions all from the same location. The only downside according to my 9 year old was the swings were not cemented in so you could not swing as high as the kids wanted to. We camped at Sandpoint Marina & RV Park in a Motorhome.

The rate quoted is for a lakeside site. The other sites are $40/night on a daily basis, but they do offer 10% discount with Good Sam/AAA. We came here based on the advertisements and ratings in the campground guides, and made a mistake in doing so. The adjacent state park (Cattail Cove) would have been much better. The sites are very narrow with hookups on one side and the cabana on the other side. We barely fit with our slideouts, and we don't have large slideouts. The access road is narrow so getting in and out of our site is VERY difficult. I found the bathrooms/laundry room - laundry room only has 2 washers & 2 dryers. There are many permanent/semi-permanent residents. There is an OK cafe at the park which was good, but expensive and service is slow. There is a marina associated with the park where you can rent a slip. We won't come here again - the state parks are much better. We camped at Sandpoint Marina & RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed at this camp ground for a month and kept our boat in a slip at marina. The resort is about 20 miles south of Lake Havasu City Center a bit more than the 10 miles we were told when we made our reservation. The registration office closes promptly at 5:00 pm. We arrived at 5:05 with no one to greet us. This resort occupies a nice place on Lake Havasu, we had reserved a waterfront site R038 and boat slip B041 and received a confirmation in November of the prior year. When we arrived our assigned RV unit had another rig in it. We had been warned if a 3 month reservation was received we might loose our waterfront site to them. We parked the boat and trailer at the marina and found ourselves and open site off water and set up camp. The boat trailer area is not large enough to park both a vehicle and boat trailer together, so if you do not have a slip you may need to park a boat at your site. We found our neighbors both friendly and helpful. This is an older camp ground with small unkept roads which are difficult but not impossible for larger rigs to maneuver in and the resort its self is in need of maintenace. The individual units are small, graveled, crowded sites with covered cement patios. We found it a bit unaccommodating as everything we asked for at the office we were given an unfriendly no for an answer. When we inquired about the waterfront site we were told R038 was not our site number but our reservation number. Our confirmation papers clearly stated different numbers for reservation, site and slip numbers. We later saw site R038 had been vacated, indicating the occupant probably had not had the 3 month reservation required to bump us, but that a reservation mistake had been made. The park store carried very little in the way of supplies. The restaurant served very good food however. We found the laundry in adequate. Washing is only a $1.00, but the dryers only operate on 110 and take a long long time and money to dry clothes. We eventually did our laundry at Lake Havasu City. We did not receive any schedule of park events as we later learned should have been give out at registration. There are snowbird activities in which others are not invited. The Marina was adequate, but only had double boat slips. We camped at Sandpoint Marina & RV Park in a Truck Camper.
