We found this gem after passing on staying in the national forest campground down the road. We met the owner as he rode up on his horse. We knew we liked him immediately. He was so accommodating! After day tripping we came back and met the manager. Another super guy. He showed us around, and made us feel very comfortable. I hope we weren't too comfortable. The restrooms were very clean. A great patio area. And, the hacienda was beautiful. Decor was recycled wood. Very well done. Everyone we met was so friendly. The night skies we amazing. Beautiful vistas in all directions. We didn't ride, but would love to some day. We will be back. Everything was on the honor system, and it worked well. - rainman0

This is a great little park. The rates are reasonable, and the owners very friendly. Sites are level with lots of room between RVs. - Rich622

We stayed in this park because it is close to the Saddlebrooke community we were visiting. The park is mostly gravel and dust for the interior roads and pads, although some pads were concrete in need of repair. Most residents there are full time with older equipment. There are several 50 amp sites and we got the last one available. The power was good for our stay. When we dumped the black tank prior to leaving, raw sewage spilled out because of a blockage in the line. We were asked to move to their dump to finish. Also, when disconnecting from the 50 amp pedestal, the guts of the wires came out with my power cord. Just shows the place needs more than a little TLC. This would be my last option to stay. - Phaeton Joe
Mar 2016 - $31.00
Price reflects nightly rate plus $3.00 per night for WiFi. We chose this place because it was very close to relatives living in Saddlebrooke. Dirt/gravel grounds. Level. As mentioned, small office/TV sounge/showers/laundry building. Building small but clean. Managed by two sisters who are interesting and friendly. Great WiFi where we were. Road quiet at night, a little traffic noise starting about 6am. We would stay here again. Good spot for a few days. - Kalama Traveler

This is really more of a mobile home park than a campground, but it served our purpose of visiting our friends in Saddlebrook. The manager greeting us was packing a revolver on her hip, somewhat of a distraction, but I'll bet everyone in the park paid their rent on time. She was, however, extremely helpful in helping us get set up in a site that was barely accessible. The location of the park is good, and there's no competition in this area so that's undoubtedly why the owner is able to charge such a relatively high price for what you get. There were no organized activities, and the office/club house was very small. - Bart1979
